I ordered what I thought were standard pin-on unit crests. I received cuff links. The website is very low-tech. The page only said that they were unit crests. I wanted what is the standard unit crest that is worn on the uniform. It took three weeks to get the package. It was over a week before the post office received the order. Saunders was the supplier of military insignia at the Post Exchanges when I was in the Army. It was of good quality. They really have gone downhill. I don't know if someone bought the business and ran it down, or if the children of the founder took over. I have seen the relatives of founders ruin many a business. read more

Never ever conduct business with this company, you will never receive the item. You will be extremely frustrated and they don't care. They still haven't refunded me for my items. Purchase of a $306 dollar Presidential Service Badge intended to be used for memorial recognition was met with arrival of a damaged badge in very poor condition. The shipping was prompt and packaging was decent but the badge was heavily marred with scratches and many ornamental stars and gold trim were notably damaged. Two messages were subsequently sent to Saunders requesting either a full refund or prompt shipment of an undamaged badge with no answer to either. If I could give zero stars, I would do so. The customer service at Saunders Insignia is almost nonexistent. The few responses that I have received were very short and didn't completely answer my questions in the first place. I have been emailing them on a daily basis to get an update regarding an order that was placed in June. When I received a quote from them prior to the order, there was no mention that items were out of stock. Only when I pushed regarding the status was I told that they are working on them. To date, I still have no idea how many have been produced or when I should expect my order. The website says up to 6 weeks for delivery... well that deadline has passed and I have yet to see one rosette pin. Very disappointed. A claim has also been created with the BBB regarding this order. read more
