Free parking is available both in the parking garage adjacent to the mall and in non-garage parking on the east and south sides of the mall.

There should be security in the corridor, especially given that it is right next to an outlet to riverside drive. It's like this mall had an identity crisis, couldn't figure out if it should be more of an entertainment center (movie theater, restaurants) or shopping center (Daiso, Five Below, Nordstrom Rack). Many vacancies, alot of random stores that you wouldn't go to unless you had or needed to like Spectrum, nail & beauty salons, orthodontist, chiropractor, Verizon, Carbon Health. The main part of the mall is Nordstrom Rack, Starbucks, Daiso, Five Below, LA Fitness. Gnomon (computer graphics, visual effects school) & Regal Cinemas take up the majority part of this section. There seems to be no thought to what a mall shopper would want or wish to go to when they arrive to the heart of a mall. On the "strip mall" area which is across the street and around the corner, there are Ulta, Trader Joe's, mostly cafes, quick bites like Jersey Mike's, Crumbl, It's Boba Time, MOD pizza. Again, only Ulta for someone looking to do mall shopping. Although this mall is modern, clean, great parking structure (expensive but lots of spaces), there's absolutely little to offer. We planned to eat at one spot, but due to the wait we changed it up and it was a total hit. Parking was crazy! Lines to go up and down, it took forever to pull in a spot. The prices are expensive too if ya make a day here. Very few places validate.

I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

Unfortunately some of the places have been shot down like Frida, that used to be El Toritos before, Starbucks that is VERY IMPORTANT to some people, (not to me), plenty of other Starbucks's on every block is no longer there. Cheesecake Factory, along with so many other eateries, a snack shop, along with Buffalo Wings, P.F.Chang is still there. I am not going to name one by one what's there and what's not. All I can say is that everyone over there starting from the security guards are nice, helpful and friendly. It's a big structure based on 3 stories. Same goes for parking. Yes, I agree with some of the Yelpers that the foot traffic has diminished a little bit. That also depends what day and time of the week you go there. I was there on 6/17/26 around 12:10pm and there were a lot of people everywhere. As somewhat expected in a highly populated area in a big city, be vigilant and watch out for yourself, because despite cameras everywhere and the occasional security personnel, you tend to see some shady characters lurking around. Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the East of the original Farmer's Market. The Grove has a huge but very busy parking structure, so while you may have to journey to the upper levels, you will eventually find parking. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $30 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Their validation rules are fairly complex and not straightforward, so be sure to read all the fine print. They also have Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice modern open air set up with a Nordstrom, Zara and H&M and a bunch of smaller stores, an AMC movie theater, a Barnes and Noble, a Cheesecake Factory, and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to fit most tastes and budgets. One catch being that the Grove parking lot cannot be validated by the Farmers Market stores and vice versa. Once you are on premises you can use the trolly to move from one end of the venue to the other. Also keep in mind that the Original Farmers Market is literally next door and attached to the Grove, which dramatically increases your food options.

The Plant is a huge open mall shopping center with major stores including Burlington, Ross dress for Less and Home Depot to name a few. They have various mall classics such as GameStop, GNC and Starbucks For eats you have OneHawaiian BBQ, Blaze Pizza, Chipotle and In N Out to name most There's Petsmart for your pet needs. Sally Beauty aka Sally's for your hair care needs. I've been to Regency more this year than I have in the past 10 and dig the GameStop, appreciate The Gap as well as the L.A. Care Community Resource Center (formerly where the HomeTown Buffet was back in the day). There's so much parking in all direction including behind, on the Regency side. Great affordable clothing, comforts, services and food. It stays busy, but rarely feels overwhelming. It's very close to the Van Nuys Train Station for the Amtrak + MetroLink and being off Van Nuys Blvd it's connected to a lot of local LA Metro busses/services like LADOT DASH. Enjoy the power of The Plant seven days a week, see individual places for their hours.

It's a huge mall and I definitely prefer it over going to the Americana across the street (free parking here and such), but again, it's a huge mall that attracts all around, so parking can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, so keep that in mind. I like that there's an attached Target and lots of shopping and dining options. They have all of the franchises that you find at a standard mall and at a higher end mall too, so you get a good mix of both. There's an Apple Store, Beard Papa (not many of these left sadly), Bath and Body Works, Heytea, Hot Topic, Kura, Lacoste, Lush, Marugame Udon, Miniso, Molly Tea, Pop Mart, the Lego Store (I remember visiting this as a child), Uniqlo, Tokyo Life Style, etc. There's a markedly newer and lively part of the mall and when you go to the periphery, there's a strange mini floor on one of the top floors and the crowds start parsing through. After that, we all had dinner together at Kura Sushi. After dinner at Kura Sushi, I decided to pick up another kabob to go for my other brother at home. As I was walking back to Kura Sushi with the food, I passed by the restroom area near the food court and a kiosk that appeared to offer eyebrow tattooing services. A Hispanic female janitor was cleaning the area. My mom had called me and was asking me to come back quickly, so I was walking at a very fast pace with the takeout order in my hand. Suddenly, the female janitor jabbed me in the arm and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I couldn't understand a single word she was saying, and I was completely shocked by her behavior. I assume that because I was walking quickly to get back to my mom, I may not have noticed that she had placed a caution sign and was cleaning that section of the floor. Perhaps I accidentally walked through the area she was working on. Even so, I found it completely unacceptable for someone to jab me in the arm like that. To make matters worse, she kept speaking to me in Spanish, which I could not understand. I honestly thought her behavior was very inappropriate. I simply responded, "Please speak English and do not touch me, OK?" My mom was waiting for me and wanted to leave right away, so I didn't have time to continue the conversation and just walked away. However, the more I think about what happened that day, the more upset it makes me. I sincerely hope I never experience something this unpleasant again. Glendale Galleria should do a better job of training its employees on how to interact respectfully with customers.
