I have no complaints about that. However, my concern lies with the doctor himself. Over the last 1.5 years, I've noticed a change in Dr. Staveris. Perhaps he's getting older or tired, but he seems to lack patience with his patients, especially pediatric patients aged 5 to 6 years old. As you know, children of this age can't hold still for long periods and may become fussy if a procedure lasts longer than 10-15 minutes. They simply can't stay still for more than 5-7 minutes. About a year ago, I witnessed Dr. Staveris becoming aggressive and raising his voice at my middle child when she was making sounds of discomfort during a procedure and trying to communicate (with her mouth open) that she needed a break due to pain. Today, for the second time, I observed his aggression towards my 5-year-old son, who was struggling to cope with the dental procedure. I was shocked to see Dr. Staveris shouting at my young child when he was trying to express, with his mouth open, that he was in pain after being scratched by a tool and needed a break to rest his mouth And one more thing, Dr. Staveris likes to talk to his assistant during the procedure, discussing personal matters. Instead of focusing on the task at hand and utilizing time efficiently while the tooth is numb, he engages with his assistant. As a result, precious time is wasted, leading to the need for a second shot to numb the tooth because the initial time allotment has expired. These are disappointing factors. We have decided not to return to Dr. Staveris. Apologies, Doc :( - Note: the Yelp removed my review, saying that I did not have experience at this location. Dr. Amanjee did an x-ray of that specific area. She said there was "NO" infection and a piece of a tooth that was "supposed" to have been extracted was still inside. She said she didn't tell us that because she wanted us to be with my son. But, she prescribed an antibiotic anyways even though she said there was no infection. A few weeks after, one of the crowned teeth fell. At this point, we just gave up with this dentist and went to have my son's teeth checked by another dentist. I have them do an x-ray again to see if there are any more problems. Oh boy!!!! She crowned one of the tooth and didn't clean it out and now it is infected down to the root!!! Another tooth that has pasta has a cavity inside! She covered it without taking out the cavity. The crowns were very poorly done that the cement was still visible in the front and back. But, that's not all. She crowned the front teeth but she didn't have to! It would fall off anyways. Please save your kid, yourself, and your money. They will max out your insurance and ruin your kid's teeth and health. It's such a shame because she was nice up front. But, don't let that fool you! This doctor does a half-ass job.
