I asked for an hour long reflexology and as you can check on their pricing it stated $30 for an hour but I was charged $45. Definitely ask them about pricing before their start. I am just getting home from yet another GREAT massage. My massage therapist is Jenny and standing only at 4"11, she is PHENOMENAL. On my very first visit I informed her of my lower back issues and like clockwork, she works out each muscle fiber like she's a experienced Chiropractor. The service price list for these experienced massage therapists is unbelievable and way too affordable..but don't raise your prices! SMILE Today, I brought my baby girl with me, as soon as I walked out after my massage, she was smiling and looked so relax like there's no tomorrow. I came in for the full-body massage on a weeknight since they have a ladies' discount on Tuesdays and Thursdays (you have to print the coupon out and they only accept it once a month.) Autumn (the owner) answered the phone to take my appointment and greeted me very warmly when I got there. This was my first massage ever so I was a little apprehensive, but Fiona did a great job. The rooms have soft music piped in through a speaker, but they're not totally soundproofed so you can often hear the person in the next room getting beaten on :p Overall the ambiance was quiet but it also seemed pretty empty when I went, probably because it was later on a weeknight. The massage ended with a hot towel and hot stone treatment. After my massage, I was offered some hot Kwan Yin tea and chatted with Autumn for a while, who refilled my cup and was in no hurry to usher me out the door. She actually gave me some tea and Chinese jujubes to take home. The overall cost came to $60 for one hour (minus tip) - the full body massage is regularly $55 so the discount knocks it down to $50, and the ginger oil was $10 extra, which I feel like is a little steep but I didn't get upsold on anything besides that. My husband and I have been going to H massage for past two years. You may be wondering what H stands for, H is for Harbin, the city in China where the owners are from. The owners are a hardworking couple. The husband was a general surgeon in china and the wife used to work in public health before coming to the US. We love this place. You can basically walk in here but If you want any particular massage therapist its better to make an appointment. If you like deep tissue massage make sure you tell them in advance so they can assign you a strong massage therapist. My husband is a big muscular guy and he usually gets someone who can walk on his back. For me I don't need walking on my back but I prefer someone stronger and most of the time if I call ahead of a time I get a good/stronger person. Last time I got Nancy and I think she was amazing. I had a headache getting in and by the time I was done it was gone. The owner Autumn is very friendly and caring. She will always make sure that you are comfortable. They offer wide selection of body oils , but you might have to pay extra for some of them. The place is very clean. They also offer foot massages. When we discovered that our beloved Spa 18 was closed for maintenance, we decided to venture over to H Massage for foot massages. There are no frills here: the décor is very basic (and very pink) and there is just a touch of natural light creeping through the curtains. Cozy up in an oversized leather chair and relax for an hour without the distraction of a television or loud noise. The people here will make you feel like family from the moment you walk in-- covering you with a blanket to keep you warm, masking your eyes to help relax you, and giving you a hug on your way out. If you haven't gotten a foot massage before, this would be a great place to start. They use mild to moderate pressure, so you don't have to worry about yelping when they hit certain pressure points. Last night, we had a family outing to Buford Highway for foot massages and pho, which proved to be wildly entertaining for me. "But Laura, my friend from tennis had her car broken into on Buford Highway. Are you sure this is a good idea?" At the end of the hour, Big Tom (my dad) was like a broken record, repeating "That was great. That was great." I'll be back, and it sounds like Big Tom will be back as well. read more

With the baby ensconced in daycare, it was a rare day off for the Mrs. and me. I bought her an early anniversary gift (oof, said my wallet) and she treated me to a foot and back massage. When I asked foot massage connoisseur James H. where to go, he simply said, "H Massage." "Ay-ch Massage? How do you spell that?" "H. As in the letter, Dumbass." "Oh. Well, it's Buford Highway. They could've just been mispronouncing 'Ache' for all I know." Anyway, the space itself is pleasingly mellow. Fortunately, since we were there in the middle of the day, we didn't have to wait and they moved us right into a "couples" room. I'm not sure if it's **actually** a couples room, but it's got two tables back there. We both stripped down to our skivvies and after a few minutes of getting situated, two strong-handed Chinese women went to work. Look, these Chinese massage places aren't very relaxing and not really designed to be that, no matter how many candles they may be burning in there. What happens is a lot of muscle manipulation. Are they doing it according to the latest muscloskeletal journals or following some sort of orthopedic treatise? I highly doubt it. What they seem to do is just squeeze the shit out of your knots and, sometimes, that's just good enough. So when she asked me, "Hard or soft," I refrained from the obligatory happy ending joke and just said, "As hard as you can." It was thus that I found a 98 pound Chinese woman walking on my back. My wife, lying on the table next to me, watched in equal parts amazement and amusement. I didn't care. As I said earlier, she was squeezing the shit out of my knots and that made me happy. After 30 minutes of this, we moved to the chairs in the main room for a foot rub. This was nice; having had many in my day, there was nothing too surprising, down to the conversation in broken English I usually have with those in the foot rub biz: She: "You?" She points to her eyes. Me: "Oh, no, not Chinese. Filipino." She: "But you look Chinese!" (I still don't know if I should think this racist or not.) Me: "Nope. Maybe my great-great-great grandfather was." She: "OK, then you Chinese! You celebrate New Year in February?" (Keep in mind this conversation was happening in late January.) Me: "Um, no. No New Years." She: "Philippines not celebrate New Years? China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam all celebrate." Me: "Well, Philippines, not so much. Maybe a few." (I didn't want to get into a dissertation on 350 years of post-Spanish colonialism with the woman, but oh well.) Yeah, you'd be surprised how many times I've had this conversation at a foot rub place, and not just this one. Next time, I think I'll just show them my lousy math scores on the SAT. The therapist brought cups of tea and covered us with blankets. She and I were nose to nose when she paused and smiled then whispered, "good night" as she tucked me in. She did the same to the beau and he thought she was leaning in to kiss him. No dude, this is not that kind of massage. But then this happened: Melting into my arm chair, eyes closed feet soaking in warm water. I hear the door swing open roughly and footsteps walking toward the front desk, then: "Massage. One hour," says the man gruffly. The attendant confirms, and the man continues, "A WOMAN." The attendant chuckles, and says, "yes of course, right this way." The man says, "No, lemme see her first." The attendant laughs nervously, then calls an associate out to be looked over. I'm sure this guy just needed to check her out to make sure her hands were strong enough, right? At this point I'm totally tempted to peek around the room separator to see this a-hole and to check out the lady's hands. I resist the urge and settle back into the armchair. But then I'm jolted out of my reverie when the door slams open again and another boisterous gentleman enters. Because H-Massage's front room is small and open, you can hear everything that goes on outside of your little nook. The foot massage itself was lovely. H Massage huh? I guess they're trying to ride on H-Mart's popularity. H Massage, which has no relations to H-Mart, is another solid foot massage place on Buford Hwy. Most foot massage places I've been to seemed like factory spas--sometimes too cold and steril. It's like they just herd people in and out their spas. H Massage seemed different. Everything felt comfortable, welcoming, home-like, and charming--like you went to a Chinese auntie's house. The staff there were super nice. They seemed older but act very motherly and caring. They refilled my teas promptly. When I told them I liked their tea, they actually gave me some packets to take home. That was pretty cool. They also asked me if I was cold and offered blankets and such. Their foot massage section is in the lobby, yet it feels private because they have a tall screen separating the foot massage section from the main lobby. Their chairs are fully reclining chairs. You can pretty much lay down the whole time you get your foot massage. The pre-foot massage soak was nice and hot. It was not tepid like the other places. I like it when the pre soak is slightly on the hotter side. The foot massage felt great. The little, old lady really knew the right pressure to give. She was firm yet didn't destroy my foot. She seemed to know which points to massage. Overall, the massage felt relaxing and was excellent. Since the chairs were fully reclining, you lay down when they give the 10 minute shoulder, neck, and scalp massage. That felt nice. Their foot massage are cheap. It costs only $25 for an hour. However, they are aggressive sales people. Even though they act nice, welcoming, motherly, sweet, etc., they are always pushing for the full body massage. Even in the middle of my foot massage, they still asked me, "are you SURE you don't want to get an extra 30 minutes for your body?" Even at the end, they pushed for extra 10 minutes for my neck and shoulders. I wouldn't have minded getting the full body massage, but I only felt like a foot massage that day. I used to go to the Atlanta School of Massage in Dunwoody, which is nice and cheap, but hit or miss because therapists are students and the appointments fill up so quickly. I found this place one evening when I was in desperate need of a massage for the tensions in my neck and shoulders. They are open late (until 11 PM) and accept walk-ins. The staff is professional and courteous. I also appreciate the loyalty program, $20 off on your 11th massage. The even receptionist noticed that I had multiple reward cards, and offered to consolidate them so that I could redeem one of them. A full hour of heavenly massaging of every inch of your foot plus a scalp/face, arm/hand, and leg massage. They also use hot stones and this massage stick. All for $30. No doubt, at the end, they will ask if you want to do another 10 minutes of a back massage for an extra $10. If you are feeling splurgey and have the time - do it. They will flatten the reclining chair all the way down and have you turn over on your stomach. The last time I went, the whole experience put me to sleep and the owner laid a blanket on me. What a wonderful nap! They have full body massages for $50 and if you like your massages firm and have kinks to work out, this is for you. You can ask them to go lighter but they will absolutely put in work. And walk your back if that's your style. They also do a mix of 30 mins for your feet and 30 mins for a body massage. I went yesterday for an hour body massage. I've had 25-30 massages in my lifetime, and this was the best. Mei Ling was very competent and used acupressure techniques ... she found all of my trigger points ... I left feeling more relaxed than I ever have. In the past (at other places) I have had Swedish massages that left me with very painful spots for days; somehow Mei Ling's approach was very different. $45 (plus tip) for a super competent massage? With friendly staff and a relaxing, homey environment? Wow. And I finally got to experience a therapist who stood on my back and used her feet to stretch me out before the massage digging began. Approaching the establishment - the sketchy factor was raised because it's located next to a smoke shop - no judgement, just doesn't feel the ease and relaxation based on the storefront. When I walked in, it was on the dark side....yes, I questioned if I was living my life right but the staff was friendly and quickly ushered us into a back room. Years. I've been coming here for years, and I live 45 min away!!! I love this place. It's always clean, safe, and has the best hour long foot massages for $30. I have never had a bad massage here (I've only done foot) and am here a couple times a month--almost once a week! First they soak your feet in warm water and dry them. Then they rub your feet (one at a time) and lower legs. They are non-judgmental and adjust pressure according to your taste. After about 50 minutes of bliss, they massage your thighs, hands, arms, and shoulders...and even your face and head. Very relaxing!! I've had exceptional massages at luxury spas, five star hotels, hamams, and 'at home' in Asia. My experience at H Massage, though, is just as great! Jeff, the manager, and Autumn, the lovely host are wonderful. You are treated like family here. It is almost too indulgent. Autumn brings me a comforting cup of jasmine tea and mints, and I rest on the oversized leather couch while she covers me up with baby blue blankets, and I get a nice towel to cover my eyes. This was my second time here. My first time was good but this time was a bit awkward. I called for a 4:00pm Sunday reservation and told it wasn't a problem. I arrived at my scheduled time and had to wait for 2 walk in customers to go ahead of me. I didn't get in there until 4:30. They called in a male massage therapist (which I didn't want) and luckily a female opened up before he arrived. I had a 60 minute massage which cost $50. 2 times during the massage I was asked if the man could come massage me. I refused because why would you switch therapists mid massage? Always love this place and have become a regular now. Nooooo it is not a sick fetish of mines to have a small Asian working out the kinks in my body, as nice as that might be :), but Jessica was wonderful and even found that I had a pinched nerve in my back and pressure on my neck from working out. Dude I never told her, WTH, but she worked the pain out, no there was no happy ending but I was happy that my pain was gone. 80 bucks for 90mins cannot be beat and for someone like me who lives in the gym five days out of the week after work, a massage once in a while goes a long way. Was out randomly running errands and decided to get a massage. I asked Siri to tell me the closest massage place to me and this was it. I was a little leery at first, but now I am SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE!! The people are so friendly and it's quiet and peaceful inside. It's not at all super fancy, but it's more cozy and feels like you are being welcomed into someone's home. They even offered me refreshments during my foot massage! I got the combo 30min full body, 30min foot massage and at first I was nervous it wasn't going to be long enough but it ended up being MORE than enough! I was in need of a massage to alleviate the intense tight muscles in the lower back and shoulders. Although I didn't have an appointment, and it was Thanksgiving weekend, the receptionist took me directly into one of the massage rooms. I've never had such intense work on nearly every back muscle. Although I have been to quite a few foot massage places in California, this was my first time trying out an Asian foot massage place in Georgia. I saw all the good reviews here so I decided to give it a try (wanted to make sure it wasn't a shady foot massage place...). I called ahead to let them know we have two people wanting an hour long foot massage. We were immediately seated in one of the massage chair upon arriving. For a good 10 minutes or so we just had our feet in the water, soaking. The two men eventually came over and started the massage. From my past experiences, these foot massage places are generally a hit-or-miss depending who works on you. Surprisingly, both the men doing our massage were great. The pressure was just right and I felt like they knew what they were doing (hit the right spots). The foot massage is really mostly just working on the foot/thigh area. At the end of the hour long massage, they did do some work around the face, the arm, and the thighs. Overall, I had a very relaxing experience. Although in California I was used to paying 20 dollars for an hour long foot massages that also included some work on the back (they do offer a 30 min back +30 min foot massage for $50 here)... I guess there's less competition in Atlanta so that they charge a bit more. At least I will keep this place in mind next time I need a quick foot massage. read more

Parking is ok. Small lot. 5 of my co workers and I luckily carpooled with a few cars. I'm sure you can park in the next lot over, but eh... I prefer to park in front of H Massage. I don't think I'd want to leave my car in the other lots at night. Space - When you walk in, you'll see the check in desk. To the left of the area, you'll see where you'll get your foot massages. But they definitely use blockers! Just so customers aren't too distracted by noise/sight. They also have rooms in the back for other massages. Service - The lady (owner?) was really nice and very polite. Only thing I'd kind of relax on is... a little too sales-y. I had to say no 2-3x for other services/add ons. Again - the staff is great and extremely nice. But tbh, it does feel really tempting to get more minutes in or use all kinds of services. I got the 1 hour foot massage. Normally, I prefer a male, but I had a female. She was great. I can tell she had strong arms/core. I fell asleep for a few mins, ha. They use the hot stones and the leg hitters (the skinny sticks - forgot what they're called). Extra star. Some places don't use them. We are regulars here and we really like this place. My wife is pregnant and has bad sciatic pain and the masseuses here are very good at identifying and massaging out the sore points. They also do a good job with the rest of the massage and they know where to press and where not to press. My wife usually gets the 60 minute full body massage. I prefer the 60 minute chair massage which includes 30 minutes foot massage (starting with you soaking your feet in warm water) as well as 30 minutes shoulder and back massage (on top of your clothes). The chairs recline flat so they can really get to your back well. I've also gotten the full body massage and they are very good with that. They offer ginger oil which is supposedly good for you and feels nice. They give you complimentary hot stone massage with the full body massage which is really nice! They will also do "walkie-backie" which is when they climb onto the table, grab these horizontal bars along the top of the room, and walk up and down your back. They do it well so that you don't get crushed. :) I usually fall asleep towards the end so I don't get to enjoy the full massage but that's not really a complaint! Ha ha ha. They do an excellent job at relaxing you. Overall I'm very happy with this place! They offer excellent relaxing massage (for me) and very effective therapeutic massage (for my wife's sciatic pain). read more

The therapists at H Massage are the real deal and provide authentic Asian Style massage. Asian Massage tends to use a stronger hand and firmer pressure to really target the pressure spots where your muscles have knotted up because of stress, exercise, and poor sleep position. While the pressure can be a bit much at first, you immediately sink into a sense of relief. Normally, I conk out about 10 minutes into the massage and wake up feeling energized and refreshed an hour later. The prices are very reasonable, $50 dollars per hour for a full body and cheaper prices for a one hour foot massage and hot tea foot soak. Very friendly stafff, great massage and a relaxing place. They already know me and who's my favorite therapist a soon as I came in they will give my favorite therapist. We ended up here after our couples massage appointment was cancelled last minute at another place. I really enjoy getting massages, it was my birthday, so my husband was adamant about finding a place to get a massage. After a yelp search and reading reviews, JACKPOT! We were there in less than 2 hours and the best part is they accept walk - ins. The lady who answered our phone call was very sweet and explained the pricing details. We were greeted as we entered and showed to our seats almost immediately. We got a foot reflexology, which was 30$ per head for 60 minutes. Started with a warm water soak followed by a foot massage, head massage and light massage of the arms. We were offered additional back and neck messages for an extra 10$ for 10 minutes. It was worth every penny!! We were also offered hot tea, I love tea :) Our entire experience was very relaxing and calming. The massage therapists had very soft hands, were very professional and communicated when needed. We really enjoyed our massages and cannot wait to be back. We would definitely be going in for a couples massage on our next visit. read more

We went here for a couples massage based on reviews and proximity to Harmony Restaurant ---- my massage was pretty good, hit the trigger points, etc. But my wife says hers was way too soft. She had asked for "deep tissue" but I don't think it translated all that well. So I would've given my girl a 3 and my wife would've given hers a 1. 2 star average. We usually go to a place on hwy 92 but I'll let my wife review them since she likes them better.... The two girls also whispered back and forth to each other in Chinese.
