The hallway is super narrow and thin walls so I kept hearing somebody grunting across the hall which was about 2 steps away. The staff wears masks the whole time. I wish they wore gloves though. At some point I heard light music playing but it started towards the end of our massage. The cushions are extra squeaky and very distracting when you're trying to relax. Also, after our body massage was done but before the foot massage part they stopped service for 3 mins asking if we want extra time. Basically if we wanted to spend more money. In my opinion...this really tarnished my experience. Because there is a communication issue short sweet answers are best. Yini Massage is your standard, Chinese foot massage place. You been to one, you've been to all. The style of massage is same everywhere. I think they got the same DVD instructional tape or something. They offer foot and body massages. I came in for an 1 hour foot massage. They led me to their foot massage area, which was located right next to the entrance. The foot massage area was only covered by a curtain. They need a door or something because you can hear everything that's going on in the lobby. It's supposed to be relaxing and quiet. But if you can hear the customers and everything outside, it isn't so relaxing. How was the foot massage? It was good. I got a hot foot bath in the beginning. Then he massaged my foot pretty good. He used the hot stones after the massage. Then he gave me a good scalp and upper-body massage. Overall, it was fine. I do have to ding them for not offering me anything to drink when I came in. Tried this place twice, it's alright, the employees doesn't seem to care about the firmness level, they're just doing the same motion and to the same spot. It got to be painful so I had to tell him to lighten up, he did for a little and went back to his firmness. This is the second time we came here and still not impress. Called to make an appointment here since my usual spot was fully booked for the night. I was told they could accommodate me relative to my drive time to get there. Once I got there I was told it would be another 10 minutes wait & was put in a room to wait for the masseuse to be available. It ended up being about a 25 minute wait. Some of the other reviews are correct: the massage tables are very squeaky (even the masseuse commented on it during my session), the walls are pretty thin so you do hear the noise outside the room (I heard what sounded like laundry being washed). Quite a few minutes into my massage the masseuse suggested that I switch to a massage chair to better get at the tension in my shoulders. I declined because I didn't want to disrupt the flow of my massage by having to dress & move to a different area. Overall, the masseuse was able to do some deep tissue work on my tight muscles. If you live in the Atlanta area you constantly here all the rage about Buford highway, so when a friend invited me for s massage- I was elated to see what all the hype was about. We had appointments for8:30 pm for a one hour foot massage and one hour body massage on a Saturday . I arrived about 15 minutes early. I am accustomed to arriving early to complete paper work-- note that this is not that kind of place. I was greeted with a friendly smile by the female receptionist. She asked if I wanted to get started or wait on my friend- I opted for the latter. She arrived at exactly 8:30 pm, at which time we were escorted to the foot massage room. This was s new experience for me. We were seated in a fairly large recliner like chair and a bucket of warm water was placed under our feet. We were offered water or tea. After soaking our feet for about 10 min- the actual massage commenced. My masseuse provided light pressure as she massaged my feet, toes and legs. I had on skinny leg jeans- which prevented her from really massaging my legs. While I enjoyed the massage, I am not certain that I would do it for an hour the next time. Note that the foot massages are in a communal environment. My friend and I were then walked into a private room and given a few moments to undress. Prior to that start of the massage the receptionist asked us to pay because she had to leave. I am not particularly fond of paying for a service prior to it being delivered, but I obliged. The same therapist that gave me the foot massage started massaging my body. She did not ask any questions to determine what was bothering me and/ or the level of pressure I desired. I guess they figure you just get whatever they deliver. I must admit that I am currently experiencing back, shoulder and next pain and some parts of the massage were rather painful. I am all about deep tissue, however- at this point I can't tolerate what I typically can. My friend had a drastically different experience than I. She noted that she would or return because the therapist would not listen to her request for deeper pressure. After the massage ended, we tipped the ladies drank a cup of tea and departed. So overall, it was a mediocre experience. If a massage is all you desire- this will suffice. If a relaxing experience is a must for you, you may want to skip this place. I may give it another go! My absolute favorite place on Buford highway that doesn't serve food LOL. I moved to a neighborhood that is now nearly 45 minutes away with zero traffic and I still drive across town just to come here. Their combo massage (2hrs) costs less than a traditional 45 min Swedish massage at a "cheap" place but the quality of body work you get here is top shelf! These men and women really know what they are doing and can get the knots out of anyone. Yesterday afternoon was our first time trying out Yini Massage because our usual place in Brookhaven had no availability. The overall experience was okay. The lady at the front was very pleasant on the phone and when we arrived. We were offered hot tea and water when we were seated. The foot massage area is in a room to the left when you first enter. The chairs are huge and relaxing. I also really liked the ocean music they had playing. I'm giving three stars because it was really loud and hard to relax. Very strange experience here. Decided on the foot and leg massage and the woman working on me was doing a good job then all of the sudden very loud bells were ringing on the front door you would have thought Santa himself was making his entrance ! The man who walked in said he wanted a massage and was quickly led down the hall. Next man walks in (those damn bells again) and basically the same thing happens the girl who was to be working on him didn't seem very enthused. Amy was working on me and had done a nice job of the foot massage so I made a last minute decision to add the hour body too. Stopped in for a quick massage last night and glad we did! This place has been open for about a month or so. First off the interior of the place is very professional, good comfortable and big chairs, and generally a nice spa atmosphere. Nothing cheesy and sketchy like some other foot spas on buford highway. We got the traditional $25 1 hr foot massage If you're familiar with Asian foot spas its fairly typical, a few minutes soak in rosewater, about a 40 minute foot massage, and about a 10 min back and neck massage. The actual foot massage was fairly typical of other Asian foot spas in the area. But a few things stood out that prompts me to tell people to come here. First off they used some kind of oil instead of lotion that wasn't greasy or anything. At the end of the foot massage they finished it off with a hot stone rub. A really nice touch. And the 10 min back and neck massage was superb. Those two things along with the general atmosphere is probably why they might be my go-to Asian foot spa in the future. read more

Made a call and they took me right away. Had been in pain for a week- Severe pain, not relieved by anything. I wish I knew his name , but he told me he was physical therapist is Korea. Foot massages are great ... I would stick with the back massages that are given at the chairs in the open room. They really go in depth and take great care of you. Engrish is the standard language when you walk in the door so take a minute to ask about the options and services. The staff is extremely friendly and will take the time to explain. I just had the best two hour massage of my life with Victor. I travel frequently for work and get massages regularly in many places. The massage I had from Victor was by far the best I've ever had even topping my favorite massage therapist in Bangkok. Been going to Yini off and on for about two years. Last week I did't realize my coupon card had been completed for a free 30 minute massage. I called in advance and informed the attendant that I wanted a 90 minute massage that would include the 30 minute free discount. After I arrived I handed over the card an informed her again that I'll be using the 30 minutes along with a 60 minute massage, which equal 90 minutes. The masseuse who was assigned was inexperienced and wasn't made aware of the 90 minute massage. So after 30 minutes she said, times up. I tried to explain that I was paying for 60 minutes, plus 30. She left the room for 5 minutes and upon arrival, just sort of looked at me and then asked me to type my message in her cell phone so she could translate. By that time I was done, I started dressing while she stood there looking at me. Now mind you, I a pretty laid back guy, and do understand that some masseuse are less experienced than others,which mine was, but I also understand that you gotta start somewhere, so I was ok with that even the it was probably the worst massage that I've ever had. So with all that said, I know these ladies work hard and I normally show my gratitude with a very nice tip, but this is what bothered me, as I returned to the counter to leave I explained that my sole purpose was to come for a 90 minute and use the free 30 minutes coupon, which in hindsight took 10 visits to attain, which netted the business about $1600.00 dollars from one customer. The attended didn't even think about offering an additional 30 session, she just stated that the girl don't understand english while she was standing in front of me and then she stormed off in anger. I was like oooooh K !!! Again, I'm not easy to please, I actually felt a little bad for the young lady, but her massage did suck. Hmm... Def way too loud here. Parking is good. You'll find spots easily. Yini should really invest in a door for the foot massage room. It's so loud. Hell, when me and 3 of my co workers came here - a customer was super pissed about something and talked really loudly. I had to stop my masseuse and ask him to tell the front office to quiet down with the situation. One of my co worker's masseuse had his phone go off. Kind of annoying. I've never had that happen till now. The masseuses (4 of them) kept talking to each other in Chinese. Another annoying thing. I get they get bored - but talking shouldn't be the main thing to do. Another thing I encountered for the first time here. The masseuses brought out our waters (for our feet) at different times (like 4 mins a part per person) - that was kind of weird. Most places bring them out together or at least quickly. I only saw 1 person in the foot massage room with us. Pros: The massage chair was really comfy. I fell asleep once or twice. At the end, my masseuse put me on the back chair and gave me a full back massage for 10 mins... but 3 of my co workers were just massaged in their chairs. Wife and I stopped in for a 30min foot message. They did a great job. We came her because "Treat Your Feet" was closed for remodeling. Personally i enjoyed the experience as did my wife. The only thing that I found to be odd we're the two electronic gambling machines by the men's and women's toilets. I could almost sleep during it - that's how nice it is. The hot stones on my feet are one of my favorite parts. They feel so amazing. I think this is better than any pedicure. They massage each toe and your entire foot - it's a slice of heaven. Also included is a brief shoulder massage. They work your neck, your shoulders and all the way down your spine. I have had a ton of massages in my lifetime and I've never had anything like I experienced ever happen at any massage. The guy acted like he didn't know it was wrong. Yes, I called the owner and spoke with him and he told me he would make it up to me by offering me a free massage. The owner also said he couldn't prove anything because it's a he said she said situation which is not right. Obviously I don't want to go back there. You are not going to get a beautiful room and high-end service like you would at the W but this is a great place to get high quality massages for only $50...and they take walk-ins! I train hard in jiu jitsu and weights and often my back is sore. I have walked in with a sore back and left 100% better. You will definitely get the biggest bang for your buck.
