I had initially inquired with many different auto repair shops/dealerships and H-Tech Auto prices came out to be the most reasonable, all while not putting a major dent to my wallet. On the day of the timing belt service for the Acura RDX, I had dropped off the vehicle in the morning and was later notified at a reasonable time (as estimated), that the vehicle was ready for pick-up. Upon arriving at the shop, Hoang took the time to explain what his team had completed (torqued bolts to OEM spec, displayed the condition of the previous belt, etc.) and answered any questions that I had in mind. The quality in the work showed and I wasn't pressured into signing off any additional service work that was not required. From the moment I walked in, Mr.Hoang's warmth, authenticity and welcome created an incredibly positive environment. When I didn't understand something, he would either draw it on paper for me, or better, actually show me what a drain plug looks like and how dirty my air filter was. When Mr.Hoang said that my drain plug was stripped and hard to come off, he asked what I wanted to do and offered to keep trying to get it off, which thankfully they were able to! I refuse to go anywhere else. I've have the worst luck with auto shops and this one was absolutely the OPPOSITE of everything I've had to deal with. First of all there was to mansplaining, he (Hoang) didn't try to tell me that what I was saying might have been wrong. Instead he said okay this is what we will need if that's the problem. Let's see what else we can do. I was in the shop for a total of ten minutes my first visit, which was just to see if what we thought was happening was truly what was causing issues. He told me it would be a few days before parts came in, but they made it to the shop later that day and I went the next morning for my service. It was busy but still took less than an hour. My boss told me to go here ages ago and I didn't listen and now I refuse to go anywhere else for anything. 100% the best shop around. read more

Hoang is the best! I'm always scared when it comes to going to the mechanic or anything that has to with cars because I feel as though people will try to scam and overcharge me or something. But I don't have those worries here. They are efficient and honest. I appreciate that. I would get services when I had my Jaguar a few times , and now that I have my truck, I still utilize this shop. Earlier this year, the differential rear in my truck stopped working. I came to this shop, to get an estimate and to see if he could do the job. After inspecting my truck, he informed me that he couldn't do it but gave me a rough estimate of over $1000 to get it fixed. Now, any other shady mechanic would have used this opportunity to do the work on my car-knowing that they don't know how to fix it-only to try to pocket the money. So I'm glad that he was upfront and honest about it. And like he said, I did indeed take it to another shop and spent $1200 bucks. read more

Hoang is AMAZING!! I was quoted a price of 200$ to replace my A/C hose, as I had a leak. I decided to go to Autozone and pick up my own part, and the sales people suggested Hoang at H-Tech Auto! I called him to get a quote on installing my A/C hose, and he gave me a price of 100$! He did the install, and I needed some struts replaced as well, and he gave me a quote, which was honest and reasonable, and I just had it replaced! He's totally honest, and does GREAT work! Awesome mechanic! I went in today to have them check my brakes to see if I needed new pads. They could have easily said that I needed them all replaced but instead the guy took my car for a test drive and looked at the pads and told me that everything was fine and to come in if I have any other problems.
