We had so much fun. Everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Ben was our guide. He was so personable and made the trip. My dad and I fell out and he was swift to react. We talked with the other guides as well and everyone was nice. The lunch was amazing and the weather was awesome. At the end of the day you get to right a pickle back to camp and get a homemade brownie that is bomb. Thank you H2O for your professionalism, good service, and warmth. I booked with them for a birthday trip for 23 people. Most of the people in the group had never rafted before. Fianna was very attentive, and answered all my questions. She was very polite and was a big sweetheart. In addition, I was adding one more person to the group last minute (9pm the night before the rafting day) and they accommodated it immediately without any trouble. My group had 4 rafts and every single person said they loved their guide, us included, and had a great time. We were non stop laughing and enjoying our time. We did the half day south fork from 9am to 1230. We used their camp site to picnic. We brought our food and drinks and just non stop talked about our adventures and how we want to do it again. H20 is the way to GO! My friends and I did the half day trip and it was definitely a highlight of our trip! It was our first time white water rafting but it sure won't be our last! All the staffs here were very helpful and fun to be around.They were very welcoming, they just wanted to make sure you'll have the best experience possible. They are still taking safety precautions for Cvoid so you don't have to worry about that! Most importantly shout out to our guide BLAKE! He just made the experience 10xs more fun than it already was! Love his energy, and the free raps and songs he was singing to us. Also we got to play different games, so we were entertained the whole boat ride! We got to swim in the rapids and jump off high cliffs. Would highly recommend giving this experience a try especially with H20 if you didn't know which one to go with. My boys and I have take trips down the South Fork of the American River before but this was our first trip with H2O Adventures. Our guide, Keegan, was fantastic! This is an intimate, very personal river guide company run by two young brothers with a lifetime of experience on rivers. They purposefully set out to create an experience which is more individual, friendly, sincere, and -- frankly -- doesn't feel corporate or like the Log Ride at Wallyworld. Some of the MANY things which stand out about our terrific day: Daniel's cheerful, patient, easy-going presence, the ability for our raft to dawdle and/or goof off without having to "keep up," our daughters "riding the bull" on the bow, cold drinks and brownies waiting for us at the end of the trip... TL;DR: If you actually want a rafting experience, go with these guys. We saw many other companies out on the water and it was quite apparent that we chose the right group. The guides did a good job of measuring our comfort and skill level and took us on routes that would give us the best experience. As characters, these are the kind of guys that you want taking you down a class 4 rapids, they obviously know their stuff and are quite experienced and capable. My 4-person family went rafting with H20 Adventures on the North Fork of the Yuba River as a Father's Day outing, and had a great time. We got good advance info and instructions from the guides, the equipment we used was in great condition and worked well, the general mood was upbeat and excited, lunch was tasty and filling, and the river proved both challenging and fun. It was a high-water spring so the river felt and sounded powerful. Tyler was the guide for the raft we were on. His clear commands and support for our determined paddling efforts made us good enough to avoid a major spill. Before each of the biggest rapids he gave us a good idea of what it would be like and what we needed to do to get through it, and all that made a positive difference.. Nearly everything was well planned and worked out in advance. The company's equipment needs a couple more XL-size splash jackets and wetsuits, and the guides perhaps could be a bit more careful about checking in to make sure each individual rafter can swim well and will do so when they fall or jump out of the raft. As they told us before we boarded the raft, the wetsuits and life jackets help, but they're not solely sufficient in the rapids; you also have to swim hard as soon as you hit the water. We had a great time, and the company is attentive to various nice details too, including taking lots of photos and videos along the way. And we spent a long time in the company's van going to and fro too, which provided lots of well-used time for discussion and debriefing. Way fun. read more

An amazing trip with H20 adventures and raft guide Dave. We did the 10:15am to 4:00pm south fork 2-3 rapids and it was amazing. The guides make the trip memorable and keep the people in the boats limited to your party so you can enjoy the day with your friends. It was only my wife and I on the boat that day - what an experience! I can't speak more highly of the trip. There were other rafts in the water and they were packed with people and didn't seem like they were having any fun. One raft had 8 people crammed in. Dave was excellent and got us through all the rapids unscathed. They provided us fresh sandwiches from the local deli and made us feel like part of the h20 family. I am definitely going to come back and do the middle fork. We booked the trip based on the other reviews we say and they were 100 percent accurate. If you book with another rafting company, it's on you. If you want to go rafting and have a memorable time, this is the place to go! read more

Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They make sure that you feel safe and have fun at the time. Your guide would accommodate your rafting experience according to your confort level. We loved it so much that we went twice in a month and brought friends over for overnight camping too. The only thing that I think that they can improve is that for overnight camping, they could spread groups a little more apart from each other. For some reason they kept all the groups in the back and did not utilize all the space they have ( front area and the upper side area). Also the bathrooms could use some daily cleaning (even twice a day cleaning). read more

First time rafting with H2o Adventures. This was 5 star from beginning to end and can't wait to plan our next rafting trip with a group of friends. From our initial call to inquire about camping and rafting we were happily told there was a campground right where H2o had their boat yard. We camped on the river and got a ride to the load in with our guides. Ben and Duff were the guides for the day and we were in Ben's boat. We chose the middle fork and didnt have any lack of excitement! If you're looking for a great rating adventure with a lot of white water then the middle fork is a great choice! Ben was an excellent guide, professional and safe and he had a great personality to keep us engaged all day. We stopped for a really good lunch that Ben and Duff made, build your own wraps and fresh fruit. Was really appreciative that they put so much thought into it. We will definitely plan our next rafting rip with H2o and hopefully have Ben as our guide once again. read more

We did the full day down the Yuba River with a group of 13 in two rafts. My friend had a near death experience underwater for something like 5-10 seconds but it was still 5/5 fun and would do again. What I really loved was the use of wet suits, the safety guide out front, GoPro ready helmets, the hot pizza lunch, and our guides! We can't wait to raft with H2O Adventures again. read more
