The smell was the crock pot burning. The masseuse then asked if I wanted an essential oil to diffuse the smell. The masseuse opened the essential oil. I should have asked for a different room as I am sensitive to smells, but I didn't. The smell was alarming and concerning. The massage itself was nice. The masseuse was a very nice woman. Since I booked custom massage through ClassPass, I wasn't asked what customization I wanted.

I booked a 90 minute hot stone massage, and Dylan put in WORK for all 90 minutes. As an avid massage enjoyer (I have held memberships with different massage therapy companies for the past 5 years), I truly believe this was the best massage I've ever had. I mentioned to Dylan that I get massages every month and that I would definitely need the deepest tissue massage possible - he delivered from the first minute to the last. Especially with 90 minute massages, therapists need to take a break from the deep tissue and work on hands and feet and other more gentle spots. But Dylan understood that I needed my neck and shoulder to be normal again and mostly focused on my problem areas for the entire 90 minutes.
