I can't say enough good things about this company. I originally picked them from Angi's based on their stellar reviews. I was not disappointed. Ray and his assistant Kyle arrived ahead of schedule. I received calls from both the office and Ray relating to me that they were on their way and should arrive in 20 minutes. We have recently built a screened in porch on the back of our house and we needed wiring for outlets, a fan and a tv. We also needed spotlights put up on our house. Ray was quick to give us a firm cost on the job that was reasonable given the extensive work that needed to be done. After my acceptance, they quickly got to work. They were fastidious in their work and even threw out the empty tv box and fan box for us. Both Ray and Kyle were concerned that I was happy with the end product. We discussed the positioning of all the outlets and receptacles to make sure that they all were functional for what I needed and what I had envisioned. This necessitated several calls to my girlfriend to confirm what she wanted. Ray was very patient while I made the calls. When they left there was no trace they had been there other than the completed electrical work. They both were professional, efficient and friendly throughout the time they spent at our house. I have had Haas out to price, and eventually complete several jobs for me. From re-routing electrical switches in the bedrooms, installing ceiling fans, upgrading the exterior lights, and finally a complete electrical panel upgrade and service line into the house. Each time their price was the lowest, and one of the fastest, if not the fastest estimated times to complete the job. When the county came out to sign off on the panel work, the inspector spoke very highly of the quality of work, and even said that after inspecting their work 100's of times Haas had never failed to impress him. Chris and his team are consummate professionals, they keep their word, does not try to upsell you services you don't need. Leaves the job site cleaner than when he got there. We had excellent service from these electricians for a whole house fan that would not turn on. The fan is ancient (30 years +) and we expected to have to replace it. Nick came on time and followed COVID protocols. He examined the fan and suggested he find another control switch before we bought a new fan. He found a replacement switch, installed it and was done. Requested a quote for multiple electrical jobs and they would not provide a estimate without a $90 consultation fee. I have had another company come out and gave me a quote without any fees and gave me a competitive quote. Haas and Sons would not look at the quote from the other company to see if they could match or beat it, they must be really hard up if they need that $90. read more

Called for an estimate for electrical work requiring a permit and an electrician. Came on time and discussed scope of work and material. Only issue was Outrageously over priced! Had several way way overpriced estimates for the same work from 3 other electricians so beware in the Pasadena area! Took me 6 estimates to get two reasonable quotes from licensed and insured electricians. Was quoted outrageous options and their $6400 estimate had 2 other electricians quoting competitively in the $2400-2500 range with the SAME material/brand equipment requested (did some homework on the job knew to go with 2 types of 200 amp control panels). The electrician was nice, clean, explained, listened, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to get what I was looking for. He was able to provide additional quotes in other projects by using his mobile laptop software. I can honestly say the Yelp reviews are true because I was able to experience for the first time as a customer. Haas and Son (I presume it was the son) came to my house to diagnose and repair an electrical problem. The electrician call to tell me he was on the way. They performed the diagnosis promptly and informed me of what the repair was needed. They gave me an estimate and it seemed very fair. He then proceeded to do the repair work and within half an hour the work was completed. He showed me what he had done and tested the systems. The cost for the repair was actually less than the estimate. I was very pleased with the work, the results and the price. read more
