I had Jacob come out to inspect my irrigation system, which was originally installed by another company. He quickly identified several zones that needed repairs and a few parts that required replacement. Jacob was extremely detailed in explaining what needed to be done and assured me that he would have my system running properly again. When he returned to complete the repairs, he did a phenomenal job! You could hardly tell where any digging had been done, and the system is now working perfectly. My experience with TLC Inc. was a very positive one! I had a well/cistern that was leaking onto my lawn. Apparently the drainage system had deteriorated over the years. Mr. Drew Hall came out to look and discuss the project. When we later met at TLC to discuss solutions, Mr. Hall clearly explained what has to be done and showed me photos of a similar project. Mr. Hall also worked efficiently with my town's public works and the county agency to create a system that was satisfactory for all. As the work progressed, Mr. Hall diligently kept me updated. Excellent work... I had a problem with my sprinkler system making loud noise when operating...woke me up early in the morning. Routine maintenance techs had no idea...but said they would talk to supervisors. Following spring system turn on, tech said he was unaware of previous report of noise, and did not know how to fix it. Sonn after I called the Customer Service staff. They quickly apologized and sent "most experienced" tech out. He did several tests, confirmed the noise was not right. He determined that there were bad valves that controlled the zones where the noise was coming from. He returned a week later, changed out valves and problem solved! read more

I signed up for TLC. They came and serviced my lawn. They bitch the edges around the driveway and sidewalk. A few weeds died but not many. I have left voicemail for them three times and called them and been on hold for over an hour each time. Zero customer service. I just left a voicemail canceling my service. They came to my house to give an estimate on some repair work and installing a new sprinkler zone. They quoted the work at $4800. I got a second opinion. The new company showed me that I did not need a new zone and I could just adjust my current sprinklers to cover the areas that I was missing and did the repair work that was needed for $235. Contractors often come into my neighborhood and see the value of the homes and Jack up the price. I'm glad I found an honest contractor and did not take the TLC quote. read more

We contacted this company to repair and restore our irrigation system back to full working order. They gave us a quote for full repair and replace. When they came out to do the work the installer said he did not bring enough supplies to complete the job and the office scheduler said they would return on Monday. They never came back. The office continued to call saying we need a "new zone". We have made no changes to our yard, there were no new zones requested. The zone in question was previously there when the quote was provided. The individual that provided the quote did not do so by zone reference and now we have a partially operational sprinkler system. The crew that they sent tried to make a side deal with my husband and when we did not want to go outside of the quote provided we got an incomplete job. The company would not acknowledge there error of their employee, they kept trying to insist we pay more for a "new zone" that was always here. We would not recommend this company. This company was simply amazing. They were on time(a week early actually), professional and the work was done amazingly.

This company wanted $2,000 to change 30 sprinkler heads, none of which cost more than $5-15/piece no matter where you buy from. There is no world where it makes sense to pay $2,000 for someone to install 30 sprinkler heads which screw on like bottle caps and are super intuitive to adjust. I went with another company in the area who offered to do the same work for almost half of that amount. And if you don't live on the opposite coast from your rental like me, do it yourself. You won't be sorry. To be clear my review does not speak to the quality of installation or service from the people who work there. I think they are just doing their jobs. But I am simply speaking to exorbitant quotes that do not make sense given the scope of the work. Shop around for sprinkler head install. read more
