    Tasting Time !!

Nice place to visit in Helen when looking for things to do. Went in for the tasting of 5 varieties that are produced locally....only $7.50 and you got to keep the glass. Your choice of 5 from their menu and they described each as it was poured to you. Also a shop where you could purchase a bottle or two. Very reasonable prices and a nice stop to enjoy...

Horrible service a old lady was very rude and unprofessional and unwelcoming if a 0 star was optional or would rate it a zero

Had a wine tasting here today. The server was very informed, and answered all questions. Very nice set up. We left with a case of wine.

But overall it was a much better experience. The tasting at this small boutique winery was personalized: I sat at the bar and tried the "Premier Wine Tasting." Two choices were offered: dry or sweet; 5 small pours in total. I got the dry. The bartender was informative and, as I was the only one there at the time, I got his undivided attention. He even threw in two extra small tastes of wines not in the flight that I asked about, no extra charge. Though the wines were expensive, they were quite good and I did buy a couple bottles, wanting to return home with a collection from my travels and I liked the place. I also liked the fact that they allow customers to bring their own food. Many wineries prohibit that, even if all they have to offer is prepackaged charcuterie platters. And I liked their "Serenity Now!" tee shirt enough to buy one of those too, though I'm normally opposed to paying a business to advertise their own business. Views and the inside space were nothing special. But they do have concerts and a food truck most weekends. The stage and patio looked like a good place to enjoy some wine, snacks, and local music. I was glad to end my Georgia wine tour on a (relatively) high note.

We were the only ones there when we came. Probably more fun on weekend when they have a live band. We were looking forward to trying the charcuterie board but it was sold out. They said they sold out over the weekend, but it was Wednesday when we went so I guess they don't stock on stuff as often. We did a wine tasting for $30 and that included a wine glass to take home. We ended up buying a bottle. Overall, I would love to come back during the weekend for the live music and the charcuterie board.

A peaceful July 4th stop with great wine and even better people…read more We stopped in during our July 4th winery hop and absolutely loved our time here. There was live music inside, creating a cool and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone we met was incredibly kind. My wife mentioned that her favorite wines are Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc, and the staff immediately offered her two great options to taste. She ended up choosing the Sauvignon Blanc and enjoyed every sip. We sat outside under the covered area along the building and took in the beautiful view of the vines -- such a peaceful setting and perfect for entertaining or just unwinding. Although we saw a food truck on the way in, we didn't try it, but we did notice a family enjoying a picnic, which was a nice touch since you can bring your own food.

WINE NOT OTT | it was a beautiful day for a wine tasting and our first stop on our impromptu wine…read moretour (self guided) was Ott Vineyards. It was a bit chilly to sit outdoors and since we had the pup in tow, we sat in the covered patio, although it basically felt like indoors. Super dog friendly! We ordered a few snacks to nibble on while we sipped on our wine flights. Overall, it was a bit loud from the indoor live music, but otherwise, it was a rowdy fun time and great way to start our wine tour! There wasn't one wine that stood out from the rest but loved that a flight of 1 oz pours of 4 different wines of our choice was only $10 (may have increased since our visit in the fall a couple years ago). But definitely recommend as a stop if you're in Ellijay checking out wineries!
