I have moved here from MI! Found a neurologist in Tucson for cervical dystonia, he was ok. Was not happy with the one at Mohamed Ali Center. Did several days of researching and found one, Khan, MD! He was so patient and thorough, let me state my concerns, my history etc. He Listened! Just prior to my going to him I was having seizures, He did a 5 hour workup, and noticed some irregularities in some of my results! While being under Dr care in Phoenix I got no answer to the seizures! Dr. Kahn is now communicating with my cardiologist in Scottsdale regarding my results. Do NOT make go there! The front desk does not return phone calls. Dr. Khan does not answer any questions. I went back for an appointment to go over all my test results. He's sitting there with a recorder. I had a question regarding a diagnosis. He immediately stopped me. Annoyed with the fact that I was interrupting his recording. He then told me that I would get paperwork of everything that I was being told. I did not. There were several things that I was told that were not listed on the paperwork I received. I needed this for short-term disability. I was on short-term disability due to a stroke. Then come to find out there's other issues I had as well. He listed only one issue that was discussed and my paperwork. Therefore, short-term disability could not release my check. My appointment was on June 2nd. I have yet to receive anything, and my checks are still being held!! Dr Khan's office won't even forward anything to my primary care doctor. The claimed they did. My primary care doctor has yet to receive anything. Someone in medical records was supposed to give me a call back. I never received a call. Also, my paperwork stated that I received a sample medication. I did Not. read more

The staff collectively is incapable of completing a task. I called twice a week for 5 weeks to get a scan referral the Dr requested. They first submitted the wrong order to the wrong place & then claimed it would take awhile to get it done "since I was making a change". I was not. I was requesting the correct order be sent to the correct place. Each time I called I got a different excuse as to why it was not done. I had other testing done & had a follow-up scheduled. My follow up was cancelled without my knowledge & I sat in the office for 30 minutes before I was told they had cancelled my appt because that particular scan had not been completed yet. I was also told that Dr Khan "would not waste his time reviewing the other results without that scan". During any of these previous calls this detail could have been mentioned. If they spent as much time following through as they do making up stories & excuses they could accomplish A LOT! There were of course other red flags but I was really hoping Dr Khan would be worth seeing it through with this cluster**** of staff, nope. read more

This so-called doctor is a scam. He kept ordering tests for me while making me think something was very wrong, he told me he thought I was having mini strokes or seizures. He set me up for a 3-day at-home sleep study. Well, the techs from Comfort Care said they couldn't see anything at night and asked if I could sleep with the light on so they could see. Pretty sure they didn't get any info from it. After 7 months of expensive tests "Khan the con", came back with it's just anxiety, he essentially called me a "hysterical woman". He doesn't listen; he doesn't take into account any chronic disease you already have and how it might be contributing to the current problem. He also doesn't explain anything clearly. He is rude and dismissive. The only improvement they will have at this office is when they get shut down. read more

Wonderful provider and office! 10/10 Dr. Khan's office gave me a same day appointment as a new patient (unheard of) when I was dealing with a severe neurological issue that was not being treated adequately by my former provider. The office staff was extremely helpful on the phone as well as in office with getting all of my insurance items submitted. Dr. Khan was patient and thorough. My concerns were taken seriously and a treatment plan was implemented that began working immediately. I had attempted to get an MRI for months with my previous provider; however, they consistently dropped the ball with insurance authorization. Within a week of my first visit at this office, I had my MRI scheduled. I had a nerve conduction study done in office and this was a pleasant experience . The technician who administered the test was professional and kind. Dr. Khan even came in to the room to check on how I was doing. I will continue to drive over an hour each way to visit this office as the care is superior. read more

I would never recommend this neurologist office! The staff is absolutely disgusting, especially Dr. Khan's wife Miriam (I think is her name). I went to see Dr. Khan and he prescribed a few medicines for me along with a treatment plan. Unfortunately due to changes in insurance, I was unable to complete the testing for a couple months as I had to switch insurance. I informed Miriam at the time of my first appointment that I would not be able to complete the testing till around April. Dr. Khan had prescribed me a change in medicine during my initial first appointment. When I went to check out that day, Miriam told me I couldn't get them filled yet because she claimed I already had medicine at the pharmacy so she would wait and fill them later for me (she never did). Now I am out of medication which helps keep me from losing my vision. Flash forward to April 2024. I called to schedule my testing with my new insurance and I was told by the front desk to call back after 2pm to speak to Miriam. I call back, she is unavailable so she has to call me back. I wait, never get a call back. Continue this routine of no call backs till May 10th when she FINALLY calls me back and leaves a message. So today, May 13th, I call her to schedule my testing. Immediately upon her answering she was completely belligerent and downright rude. She rudely asks my name and DOB. I tell her and instantly she goes "oh yeah, I told you 100s of times before over and over that you did not do your testing and you didn't bother to schedule it." I said, well I have been trying to schedule it with you for over a month. The line then goes silent and then some random guy answers the line. He then proceeds to tell me how Miriam just up and transferred me over to him and how I am "inactive" in their system since I never did my testing and how I need to find another neurologist. I was like, excuse me? I've been trying to schedule it with no assistance. The guy basically stated how that is not my problem and how Miriam said I never scheduled it with her so I'm inactive and need to find someone else. So now I have no medication nor a neurologist thanks to this idiotic lady. And from the reviews I see, she is running this place to the ground! Needless to say, I will be reporting this and filing a complaint. BTW, if you have children and need to bring them here or have FMLA paperwork and need to get it filled out, stay clear. They will refuse service if you have children with you and refuse to fill out FMLA. read more

I used to go to Brain and Spine center in casa grande. They were great. But stopped taking my insurance. Now I've had the displeasure of visiting the other neurologist/author, (don't forget to buy my book!) Dr. Khan. Dr khan mumbles his way through every appointment talking more to the person on his phone than his patients. He told me all the progress and tests from b&s center "don't count" and dismissed me when I asked what that meant. He doesn't listen to his patients really at all and I never understand him when and if he's talking to me. He was more interested in my pinched nerves which I've been living with and known about for 10 years, than the chief complaint of narcolepsy which I came in for. I've tried cpap machines for years to no avail and was doing ok with the medication b&s center was prescribing but he says "this not right medication" for me. Ok..... well then please tell me what IS the right medication and please prescribe it! Needless to say I won't be returning. read more

Doctor Khan and his office staff are probably the worst physician and physician's office staff that I have ever delt with. I went in with severe lower back, hip, and nerve pain going down my left leg. He decided he would do some very expensive testing. (Which I'm sure he profited nicely from). The results that he gave me, he just said "you have a lot of nerve damage". Nothing more specific than that. That was something I already knew due to a previous motor vehicle accident years before. No diagnosis. No treatment plan. He gave me 6 useless medications and also put me on 5 herbal supplements. None of which had any positive results. He said "come back in 3 months and we'll see how you're doing". I felt like a number, not a patient. My pain was very bad. He did not take me seriously. Upon a proper diagnosis a little later from the emergency room, which was extremely necessary, as things got substantially worse, I discovered that I was in desperate need of a total hip placement. That is what was what was causing my pain. This 'Doctor' had no clue what so ever. No x-rays, no mri. In addition to a non/misdiagnosis, and subsequent physical pain that followed, the woman who works the front desk is incredibly rude. She has no business working in customer service at all. The male assistant, I believe his name was Michael, argued with me. He insulted me and told me that I was wrong, several times. Apparently, it was 'my fault', and that I had lost a prescription, and that they would not able to refill it, because of my fault. Well, it was an electronic prescription. It was nothing I could lost. The guy is childish and has no business in patient care, nor commenting on issues which he knows nothing about. He needs to grow up and learn how to listen to patient concerns if he intends to stay in the medical field. Potiential patients: By no means would I let my family, or anybody that I know, go near this doctor and his staff. Please heed by warning. Had a visit set up by former pcp with neuro did a quick look up this morning before my afternoon appointment..darn where the reviews on point for the main office lady being rude. Doc not really talking to you. Lookk at you and go oh you have a b,c,t,,z,e but has none of your records or info has not spoke to you. Just the sight alone tells him everything. Apparently sleep apnea is diagnosed via sight. Neurological dysfunction on sight but passed a full neurological test with flying colors. 10/10 DoNOT recommend wish i would've researched before agreeing to a appt. I went two years ago to see Dr.Khan II had a small tremor my left hand, he told me I had Parkinson's disease. He ran so many tests on me. It was unbelievable for the next two weeks. All I did was test after test. Then he gave me two different medication's to take and a return appointment a couple months later. I took the medication for just a couple days and it made me so sick. I stopped taking it. I went back and saw him my second visit and he had me write down my name and he said oh my goodness, look what the medication did. It stopped the tremor you're doing so well. I said I never took the medication it made me sick. He said you need to take the medication to get your Parkinson's under control, you are in such denial and he started yelling at me telling me I was in denial. I said goodbye and left and walked out the door. I never went back again. He's a jerk. He was so rude and mean to me. I went to a different doctor in Casa Grande a wonderful, wonderful doctor and he said you don't have Parkinson's. I'm so happy I don't have Parkinson's. Do NOT visit Dr. Khan if you are immnocomprised or value your health. As an immunocompromised person with several health issues, I requested his staff wear masks. THEY REFUSED TO TAKE THIS SIMPLE PRECAUTION TO PROTECT MY HEALTH. Even though I am protected by ADA guidelines, they refused. Pinal County is currently experience a high level vulnerability level. Pinal County, AZ is more vulnerable than 65% of U.S. counties. Communities with higher vulnerability have pre-existing economic, social, and physical conditions that may make it hard to respond to and recover from a COVID outbreak. I will be filing a complaint with the ADA on this noncompliant ddoctor and his office. However, I would NOT reccommend seeing this doctor who cares so little about your health. read more

When we lived in Casa Grande, my husband was a patient of Dr Khan. My husband had many tests done. He was told that he had Parkinson's. He was put on medication for this. We moved back east and we went to see a new neurologist. The new provider does not believe that he has Parkinson's since he has been on a low dose if this medication and is currently not showing any signs of Parkison's. Our new provider requested a copy of my husbands records and they were never sent. My husband also requested a copy of his records and all results. They refused to send them because an "official" release of information was not sent! In the letter, we informed them that of an "official" request was needed, my husband would be happy to sign one if they would email it to him and he would docusign it and send it back. They would not do that either! This office is horrible when you can't get what you need, can't email or leave a voicemail because their message states that they will not answer them! We had an appointment on 4/3/2023 at 7am. Arrived at 6:50am and waited till they opened the door. We were the only one here we were told that the appointment was at 7:30. We waited till 7:30 and was not seen till 8am. We were the only ones here once again as someone walked in and seen right before us. We were in the back for an hour and we had to wait for a man named "Michael" to check us out. Again no one could find find and he was called twice. He finally came out after 20 min of us waiting. He said we needed some testing done and made the appointment for the next day at 11:30pm. Arrived on 4/4/2023 at 11:20pm. They said the appointment was on the 5th. After having a discussion with him ( having to raise my voice) he said he would take us at 12 (noon). Michael is doing the test and said it will take 1 hour. As we are waiting we came across another patient saying they have been having issues with this place to and having to wait months for an MRI. Other people said they have had issues with this place and no wonder why they have all bad reviews. I will place another update when we get seen and will provide how long this process takes. As of right now I can here the people in the back having issues and talking very loud about issues. In my opinion please find another doctor office as you might regret it. read more

Took my husband in who has epilepsy and was with in 24hrs of his last seizure to come in for an EEG and they made me leave the office and I was not allowed to wait in the lobby for him. We brought home the sleep study finger sensor, my husband had a seizure the day before so we figured perfect it will catch something. My husband had the sensor on all night and during the day until we returned it to the clinic.... We waited and waited for results, we didn't get a call so I called after 7 days only to be told they couldn't " find" his sleep study , then it was "it didn't download" he needs to do it again. This place is crazy! I just wanted a confirmation that I have carpel tunnel syndrome. This dr is in network and my copay was $40. However the person behind the desk told me that my deductible was $1000 how much did I want to pay? I asked how much the appointment was and her response was how much do you want to pay? How about nothing? I got charged $50. Lord this was only the beginning of a circus that continued through my entire appointment. A young mother with a new baby was kicked out for bringing a baby in. She did not have a vehicle and had been dropped off. A prisoner in shackles was allowed in though? There are repetitive signs hanging everywhere. The nurse was ok but I could not figure out why I was given a cognitive exam for Carpel Tunnel? The dr had his mask hanging half way off his mouth and I only understood every few words. What I did get was he did not believe in surgery which is what I wanted. It would take 10 months for him to retrain my brain and I had a handful of prescriptions for pain and buttloads of vitamins. One RX was for aspirin? Then I was told I would need an entire day of tests? No thanks I'll go somewhere less crazy. Beware. Don't go here find someone else. read more

Denied access to Dr Khan even with 100% health insurance coverage. Front office refused my follow-up appointment to get lab results and discuss his diagnosis of stroke. This is 3 weeks from the shocking diagnosis and I can't even talk with him. Office called police because I would not leave since I had appt. I had an Appointment for 4/8/20 at 3pm,.. I show up at 2:45pm just in case there is a cancellation or ability to get in early. I check in & was asked to sit down. A Mother & daughter come in 10 minutes after me, after a few minutes they are called back to see the Dr, a few minutes later a couple shows up & check in & sit next to me in n the lobby. About 3:35pm ( 50 minutes wait )I approach the desk to reschedule but am told it would be 5 minutes or so,.. The couple now get called back & I exit the building after almost an Hour wait on a 3pm Appointment. I get a call after 5 minutes driving, I told the gentleman that I arrived at 2:45pm for a 3pm Appointment & it's now 3:45pm, He told me First Off, NEVER Show up to an Appointment Early!!!! I asked could I Reschedule, He Said I COULD NOT!!!! Statement on the Lobby Wall clearly states if the Dr takes too long with a patient they will Gladly Reschedule you??
