Burgers are very bland. Very tiny burgers. Meat looks like a mystery. Not good at all. Fries are decent though.

Love the clocks decor. The fruity pepples tres leches tasted like my childhood. Overall great vibes. Will have to check out a show next door at the Avenel Performing Arts Center one day before or after dinner. Avenel is surprising me!

From what I've heard, it usually gets packed during peak sports seasons--but we happened to hit a lull (post-football, pre-baseball, and no major games on), so we basically had the place to ourselves. That actually worked in our favor--the quieter atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy conversation without the usual sports bar chaos. Drinks were a highlight. I went with the sangria, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Instead of ordering full entrees, we decided to share a bunch of appetizers. Everything that came out looked great, and everyone in the group seemed really happy with the flavors. As someone with a gluten allergy, though, I was pretty limited in what I could order. The ribs ended up being one of my only real options--but thankfully, they were tender, flavorful, and definitely the standout for me. Still, I do wish there were more gluten-free choices, especially since we were there to celebrate and share food. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was that we felt a bit rushed toward the end of the meal. We didn't even get the chance to order a birthday dessert, which was disappointing given the occasion, but seeing since it was only our group there I'm sure they were ready to close and go home. Service overall was attentive and friendly while we were dining, so no complaints there otherwise. It was winter when we visited, but I can see this being a great spot in warmer months--the outdoor seating looks like it would really add to the experience. Parking was easy on a Sunday night, and they do have a lot, but make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are reserved for the theater next door. Overall it has a great vibe, solid drinks, and food that people clearly enjoy--I just wish there were more gluten-free options so I didn't leave still a little hungry.

I started with a drink that was just okay, nothing special, but not terrible either. For an appetizer, we ordered the octopus, and unfortunately it was not good. The sauce didn't taste great, and the octopus itself didn't taste great either , which already set the tone for what I was about to have next. For my entrée, I had the Dijon salmon (not pictured), and it was honestly so bad. It had a very strong, fishy taste, and I couldn't get through it, I left most of it on the plate. I'm not one to complain, and since I was there with my kids, I just paid the bill and left. The space itself is pretty, but the food is no bueno. Also I found the menu was limited, it wasn't clear what their specialty is, and nothing really stood out or made me want to try something else. Overall, not a place I'd return to nor recommend.

They also were fun, not afraid to joke around with you as part of your experience. Parking here is a true pain though. Metered street parking mainly (Free after a certain time), but there is also a parking garage. It does have a very nice bar area, but I did not take a picture of it. For food we had the Dumplings appetizer, El Presidente, & Mama's Chicken. Drinks we had The Purple Drink (Yes, that's its name) & Simple Man. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Even the complimentary bread was great. It comes with a "cinnamon apple" butter? Not sure, but it was excellent. Overall, worth a return trip. For starters we had the shrimp tacos!!! $17 for 2 but worth every penny! And they were by far The best I've ever had!! Very fresh toppings and perfectly seasoned. And I loved the green sauce they topped it with. For dinner my husband and I split the $19 classic burger and substituted the fries for a Caesar salad. We also subbed the cheddar cheese for the smoked Gouda and omg chefs kiss!! Ordered it medium and It was cooked perfectly! For drinks we had a coke soda $3.50 and an uptown girl (lychee martini) $14 Both were good. The servers were really nice. The vibe was laid back. The volume of the music was perfect. The bathrooms were really clean. If ever in the area again I'd definitely come back!

I love their Caesar salad--it's consistently delicious and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The service is always awesome, and the staff makes the experience even better. The ambiance of the place is also a big plus--great vibes all around, whether you're catching up with friends or just stopping by to unwind. It's a perfect spot for a quick happy hour. On top of that, I find their prices to be very fair for the quality you get. Overall, I would absolutely recommend, this place is a solid go-to and you won't be disappointed!
