This is a cool place. Pretty standard burgers and chicken. I came here and ordered a chop cheese, cheese fries, and the mixed sliders which came with burger sliders as well as chicken sliders.

Unfortunately, the team was way too behind to meet customer orders, and as a result there was more chaos than is needed at a salad place. It seemed like the team fell rapidly behind between online and in person orders with most customers waiting 30mins+ during lunch. Given that this was a work day, there seemed to be a lot of frustration around the whole place -especially with people needing to rush back to work. My real disappointment though was the food. I ordered the fit and fueled, and the restaurant forgot the romaine. The entire dish was also scarce on all ingredients except for the shredded carrots and quinoa. There were a few tomatoes, feta, cucumbers, and bits of chicken scattered about, making the dish overall just carrots and quinoa. While I initially chose to dine in, I soon had to switch to takeout given the time it took to get my meal. However, between the yelling of customers and team and overall chaos of the place, dining in did not seem as relaxing as I first thought it would be. I did hear this place is still only a couple months old, so if I were more local Id wait a bit for operations to smoothen out before giving it another shot, but wouldn't discount it entirely based on my one experience.

The initial customer service was warm and welcoming, and we were seated promptly. However, once our food arrived, it felt like the service tapered off. No one checked in on us throughout the meal to see if we needed anything or if everything was to our liking. A few table touches would have made the dining experience feel much more attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. They were fresh and delicious, though I do think the portion size could be a bit larger for the $6.95 price. For our entrees, we both ordered the oxtail pho. It looked very appetizing when it arrived. I always like to take a sip of the broth before adding any condiments so I can appreciate its natural flavor. Unfortunately, the broth was very bland and lacked the rich, aromatic depth I expect from a good pho. It was disappointing because the presentation was excellent, but the broth ultimately fell short of expectations. Overall, the experience had a strong start with friendly service and prompt food delivery, but the lack of follow-up service and the underwhelming broth left me disappointed. With a more flavorful broth and more attentive service throughout the meal, this could be a much better dining experience.

When I have been coming here I've been getting the platter with rice and a little salad. I typically get the gyro meat but will occasionally get the chicken to mix things up. Occasionally when I want to mix things up I will order a combo platter, typically a gyro combo but occasional also get the chicken fingers which are very good. His eggplant for the salad is homemade and its great if you choose the salad option. Mike the owner is a great guy and is super friendly and personable. You can tell he really cares about the people and the food feels like it's made with love. As I stated in my prior review, King Pita is in the student center, however you no longer need a rutger's ID to get into the building.

It was a pleasure to support him and his team today. The service here is always pleasant and food is fresh. Even though I've been doing great as a vegan I've been craving the Princess wrap. A tasty crispy chicken wrapped in pita with lettuce tomato and some type of special sauce. And the curly fries... this is the only place where I get excited about curly fries. My friend said the chicken wings are some of the best. Seasoned all the way through and not greasy. We both grabbed the hisbicus tea which was DELICIOUS! This spot is a must grab.
