I came here with a friend to grab some lunch since the one at Menlo Mall is not good. The staff: They are friendly and very patient when we are ordering. The only thing that they need to work on is to thank their customers. Cleanliness: The restaurant is pretty much brand new and is very clean. I just wish that the garbage can was a little bigger and that they would change it when it is full. Soda Machine: The coke a cola from their fountain drinks is on point and is not watered down like most places. Regular Philly Cheesesteak: My friend said this was delicious and that it definitely tastes better than most locations that he has been to. Chicken Teriyaki: This is by far the most delicious chicken teriyaki cheesesteak I have had from any Charley's location. This location has the food hot and has flavor to the cheesesteak. Overall: I am very satisfied with this location and this will be my new go to place for a cheesesteak. This location's food definitely tastes better than the ones at the mall's. Stopped in for lunch it's walkup order and it's takeout and dine in . I ordered a chicken teriyaki cheesestreak. It wasn't bad I would have liked a little more meat like they do in real cheesestreak places in Philadelphia. I did taste the teriyaki but it wasn't overpowering. As far as the cheese fries it was just American cheese melted on French fries pretty simple. It was ok the portions were very good. Very fast service here! We got a large Philly cheesesteak to share, and I was not aware that people put tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, and pickles on these sandwiches! We did not get any extra toppings and I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. At first I didn't think it was enough meat but it was the perfect amount though I could have gone with more peppers and onions. We came on a 70 cents boneless wing day so we had to try some (Monday & Tuesday). We got them with the Korean bbq sauce that had a subtle spice to it but nothing major. The wings were more like nuggets based on how the inside looked. There is plenty of sitting inside for everyone ordering and it was very clean inside. Charley's, I fe it was better when it first opened. I have had a better juicier sandwich in the past. My meal was not what I was craving. Don't get me wrong I would go again, but I feel they rely on their topping to make the sandwich flavorful. I am a traditional Philly cheese steak gal. So I prefer yellow cheese wiz from a can. This was my first time trying this location and it wasn't a bad experience. Although I did enjoy my good, there were a few small errors that won't allow me to go above 4 stars. I specifically asked for the sauce on the cheese fries to be on the side. However the cheese was on top and it was a bit messier than I would've liked. This wasn't a deal breaker since the fries were soggy and still had a good amount of cheese. However she they were unnecessarily messy. Similarly with the sandwich. The flavor was there. The roll was soft. Lettuce was crisp, as was the tomato juicy. Buuuut, the sandwich wasn't evenly sliced. Almost as if they started to cut it and then stopped. I was in the area and decided to stop into Charleys to get lunch and I ordered a Cheese Steak and fries. I did not eat or look at my meal until around dinner time. I warmed my food and opened the box and thought how good this cheese steak looked. I started eating and it was delicious, I loved the taste of the oblong pickles that were put on the sandwich and the cheese that was melted and the soft bread. It was a full filling sandwich and I ordered a whole but I should have had got a half instead for me. I will definitely return if I'm ever in that area again. read more

When you have "the best cheesesteak ever" on every bag that goes out the door, it better be a great rendition, especially in jersey... This close to Philly...and sadly it fell way way short.
