On our way out of town with a larger group and struggling to find a place open early for breakfast, really, really happy that we came into Flynn's Pub. While we were the first folks in here at 7 am but felt right at home and our server was fantastic. Coffees and drinks spread accordingly, the menu for breakfast here is really delicious. The country gravy and the hollandaise sauce were highlights for my compatriots and the portions were huge. I went with the Mexican omelette, chocked full of peppers, onions and avocado and salsa. Got the Fries and Sunshine, it was TO DIE FOR. The fries were tasty and crispy, the eggs were nicely cooked, and the sauce was perfect and it all complemented each other nicely. My siblings and I got together to get food and drinks. When I arrived I had to circle the block to find parking. I finally was able to find one after a while. I walked in and found my sister. We were served by Johnny and a nice young lady, I don't remember her name, and they were both very nice. I stuck with merlot for the night. My brother got beer and a chicken dish which he said was good and my sister stuck with pinot grigio. We were able to eat, drink and enjoy our time here with pretty good service. I got the chilaquiles rojos. The gal that took our order was the sweetest and she made sure we were never in need of anything. The place was completely empty when we walked in so our food was ready promptly. My food was just ok. I would have liked it better if the salsa roja did not have celery or if it was stated in the menu I may have overlooked it. Breakfast for 2 ran us about $25. Not bad but it was just meh. We just went out for the first time since the start of the pandemic and I'm so happy it was Flynn's. The owner and staff are super nice and the back patio is wonderful. Great music and nice and warm with the patio heater. The atmosphere is a little different from Meatball and Brew, but it has not lost lost laid-back pub vibe. We are excited for when it is warmer. It will be the perfect place for brunch. The food was great, especially the burgers and blue dressing. I tend to order medium rare, but usually restaurants over cook burgers. NOT flynns. The king is an homage to Elvis Presley, two pieces of French toast with peanut butter, bananas & bacon usually served with chocolate sauce but I requested maple syrup instead and it was incredible. This place is a gem! The food is delicious, staff is friendly, and the drinks are tasty! My family and I went for the first time back in October after my sisters wedding. We called ahead for a reservation for a large party and they sat us outside and everyone enjoyed their dishes and experience. Since then, I've gone back twice and have recommended the place to a few friends who have enjoyed it. Highly recommend!! I've been here a few times for lunch, and every time the food has been fresh and delicious. The cheesesteak is surprisingly amazing. The atmosphere is also great, with a warm nook in the back with a fireplace in the winter, and outdoor seating on the back deck in the summer. My friend and I have a fairly long-standing Sunday brunch tradition, and we'd fallen into a bit of a rut of the same three or four places. This morning, she texted me and suggested we try Flynn's after she saw them on a quick Google search of "brunch near us". Best idea she's ever had. After one visit, it's officially my favorite local restaurant. I had the chicken & waffles, which was made with the most delicious fried chicken breast I've ever had, on top of perfect waffles, drizzled with absurdly delicious honey sriracha sauce. She had the country fried breakfast, which came with perfect eggs, the same amazing fried chicken breast, pleasantly surprising grits, and a lovely sausage gravy. The coffee is wonderful, the service is friendly and efficient, and they take reservations. We plan to come back every possible Sunday until we either burn ourselves out or they stop letting us in the door. I went to work right after, and I made my co-workers order from here on Uber eats as soon as I walked in.
