After we got our food, we drove home (5-7 mins) which is what I usually do when going to the Habit. My burger was okay, didn't taste quite the same as I remembered, but still, okay. It was the tempura green beans that I was SO disappointed in. Not only was the paper boat half full, but it didn't taste anything like I remembered. They didn't have any cucumber drink made so that actually was the second disappointment because that was noticed prior to actually receiving my food. Paper and plastic cost them another 75¢, so for $3.25 they received a "profit" of at least $4.00 after deducting sales tax. But then there's the sandwich. At best it was mediocre. Sort of blah in flavor, easily the thinnest piece of chicken breast that I have ever seen, and pounded to the point that there was no juiciness to at as one would expect in a great chicken sandwich. First and Foremost I want to say that the store manager Alfredo is absolutely amazing! He is such a kind, hard working, and loving person. He goes above and beyond to provide all of his guests with the best possible customer service. We've had issues in the past with this location and a couple of other Habit locations but knowing they have someone like Alfredo, makes it so easy to chose which Habit to go to, even if it's a bit of a drive. Thank you so much for everything Alfredo! We hope you get a huge promotion and a raise! Apart from customer service, the food has always been great, we prefer to dine in because fresh is always better! But we normally get the chicken club, a char burger and half/half onion rings and fries. I stop by The Habit on Barranca once in a while since I enjoy charbroiled burgers. This location is pretty chill--plenty of parking, a drive-thru, and lots of seating inside and outside. The staff are always friendly, and I like the deals they offer on the app. I usually get the Double Char with cheese--it's juicy when fresh. I also like that they have jalapeños on the side and a great lemonade section with unique flavors.
