Wow! I popped in out of curiosity bc I was visiting the store next door and found a pair of HUGE drop dead gorgeous Italian quartz globe ceiling fixtures still in the box! I looked them up after returning home and realized I had saved over 90% on the retail price. I also bought three white modernist tables with steel bases that were in excellent condition, also an unbelievable price for the quality and condition. For a compact store it is super clean, well edited and organized and def has the quality goods & variety of styles of furniture and home goods. The manager and staff are angels. They helped me load the tables into my car. If I were looking to change things up a bit this would be my first stop. The manager told me their inventory is constantly changing so if you don't find something the first time, keep coming back. 100% A+++++

Great staff and large inventory of furniture and picture frames. Worth the trip! Makes you wish you had a second home to furnish.

I love thrifting & this is an excellent place if you just purchased a home or new apartment. You can get some real good quality items & sometimes they have an additional discounts, but go early like anywhere else the good finds don't last. Got this vintage bar cart. That i will probably clean up & maybe change the wood, not a fan of the dark color. A steal for less than $16 bucks.

Sparse pickings but inexpensive. Mostly furniture with some housewares and knickknacks; not much else. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I have a perfect set of bedroom furniture to donate and they rejected it no idea why. All I asked was to have it picked up.

Do you take gently used mattresses?

    No I don't.

Do you pick up furniture? I live in Rego Park and I'm moving to a furnished apartment. I have a couch, a loveseat and a dining room table with 4 chairs that I'd hate to go to waste.

Yes we do email pictures to restore@habitatnycwc.org and we will assess Thanks so much

Do you offer a furniture pickup? (It is a sofa-futon and need an extra hand to carry). Do I get a receipt for tax deductibles?

we do not deliver but can recommend local delivery people. We do give donation receipts.

Is there discounts for fire victims? My son and his family lost everything in a house fire. He will be needing everything .

Come to store ask for Leslie. Thanks

I'm just not sure what that thing is. I've come here plenty of times over the years to look, but have never found anything worth purchasing. The top floor is full of clothes, but there's no rhyme or reason to anything. And listen, I get it, it's a thrift store. But even Savers and Goodwill have sections for certain types of clothing. Maybe these folks do separate the pants from the shirts and it all inevitably gets mixed back up by shoppers? Anyway, just know that if you're coming here it's going to be a bit of a dig. The selection is fine, with most items in decent condition. Prices are sometimes hard to decipher, and some prices to me are questionable. Their bag section is usually full of well-loved, well-worn bags with prices starting at $25 - which seems steep to me given that many of these bags have their fake leather literally about to peel off. The service here is fine, the folks who work here are friendly enough. For me, this is just and interesting place I'd go to kill some time, not a place I'd go expecting to buy anything.
