Pretty good selection of things. I didnt like that all the furniture is literally squished together.. so it's hard to get into the middle if something that caught your eye is there. They have a great selection of doors, flooring, and knick knacks to fix up a home. I disagreed with the pricing on the appliances. I wasn't looking for one, but I paid $400 for my brand new oven and it is a GE with an air fryer included in the oven. They were asking $200 for a pretty beat up oven, that was filthy, did not have any bells and whistles, and was white. I havent seen a white oven in quite some time. The staff was friendly, and the store was pretty clean. I'd recommend, and would probably come check out again. read more

This is technically a thrift store, but they carry stuff for your house too. Like toilets, tiles, half used paint, fixtures, etc. Inside is kinda messy and sometimes you have to look for stuff. I got a good deal before on some quality paint that was nearly empty but worked for the small area I needed to do. There's stuff that's close out from stores too, like Walmart brand sheets, random shampoos, cat treats, and target brand men's underwear. Those were today's random spottings. I ended up nabbing a very nice Revere Ware pot, not vintage but a nice pot. Also splurged on a silly turtle decoration. The staff is nice enough but there's not much staff, so bring your friends if you want to haul a couch out. read more

This place is a surprise. It is not the best looking store but hey, it's a thrift store, as long as I can get good stuff I'm ok with it. They mainly sell furnitures, home appliances and home goods. We tried to find a refrigerator here and they have like 15 of them, and we got one that is only 249. They got many windows, sofas and dining tables. Some sofas and cabinets are like new or barely used. They do have some pots and bowls but they look old. The people are also nice too. She explained to us about the social media discount thing, and she was friendly. read more

Good place to find new and used household Goods, great place to find appliances, hardware , basically anything you need to fix up your house for a price you can't beat. Both a fairly brand new Saw horse for $20 retail for $45 brand new. What a deal !! read more

Okay it's 2019 and I am back hunting/picking stuff out to update my bathroom. I like this place again. They reorganized the store. There are distinct places for ceiling fans, lighting, and sinks. Furniture and 32 inch TVs are on sale for the big game. 75dols for a strong brand name 32 inch TVs good price. Okay. I came in for my bathroom. I purchased a vanity that came out of a hotel. Marble top with a mahogany wood base 100 dollars. I have to touch it up but I am VERY pleased. I do miss the clothes but I love the Wal-Mart bed sheet sets for $7.00. I enjoy the cool glass sets that kind folks donate for me to use to drink vino. Sweet!! I did pick up a few items our of the FREE basket. Yup junk is in the eye of the beholder. Actually it's trash but it's cool trash that I can reuse. No shame in my DYI game. Back to the real review. Their selection of Windows. Doors Paint and Appliances offers a lot of variety. They didn't have what I was looking for, but they had something else--a nice contemporary chair in great shape. Took it home and all it needed was a cleaning. I had the machine to do it, so it was no big deal. Clean and looking great in my livingroom now! read more

Habitat for Humanity stores are different from most thrift stores in that they specialize in building materials and home improvement and repair items. This one in VB does carry clothing and other standard thrift store stuff, but there are also a lot of light fixtures, doors, windows, toilets, counter tops, you name it. Most of them are used, a few are new. I was in there the other day and I saw outside in the back, for example, boxes upon boxes of tile--all different shapes and sizes. A lot of the boxes had been opened and there was maybe a chipped tile or two in each box. If you were willing to sift through the piles and use a little creativity, you could probably tile a bathroom for next to nothing. And of course all the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity, and you can't argue with that. read more

They've cleaned this place up a bit. They must've had some generous donors with the amount of fix-r-up stuff they've acquired! From paint, to tools, countertops, fans, furniture, doors, and anything you'd really need for a house, it has it all! Yet, I only take stuff out of the door 1 of 4 times because I get overwhelmed by stores like these and always worry I'll buy too much that I don't need. Besides this being a very over priced thrift store, the merchandise isn't really stellar. I purchased a food processor. I looked unused because when i opened the box, parts were in individual bags. When I got home and attempted to use it, most of the parts were for another appliance altogether. When I spoke with the loser manager, he just stated that "All sales are final"! Is it too hard to check the boxes before selling items? Never going back to this garbage store. read more

Went with my friend to look for a used dryer and chairs to reupholster and found several good options, we got the chairs. The chairs were in good shape, semi formal dining room chairs for $15 each. They let us pick the chairs up 3 days later and had very good customer service and flexibility. Only con I would say is it is not the cleanest inside the store but the products and service are nice. This place is CRAZY huge and lots of fun to browse through and treasure hunt in. They have everything from hard to find books to furniture for your house, remodeling items, dishes, dvds, music, oh the list goes on and on...and the prices are pretty good as well. The only draw back I experienced (thus the reason for the 4 star instead of 5) is either they were understaffed the day we came (which is highly plausible since they depend on volunteers as well), or the checkout person at the front was doing something for a good bit of time (10 minutes or so) which led to a wait time for us in trying to check out. I saw workers on the floor, but no one seemed to be manning the front checkout accept for this one lady who was MIA for about 10 minutes. Oh well, life happens, and you just roll with it. If thats the worst that happens in your day....I say your a lucky Yelper....am I right?! Overall, this place has a lot of shopping fun to be experienced firsthand, and you will find a BIG amount of savings here guaranteed! Just give yourself enough time to look around...I mean with all the indoor and outdoor items to choose from....you just can't go wrong at a place like this!
