We set up an appointment for Alison. We paid a deposit and had her draw up something and set a…read moredate. I added the day and time to my phone calendar and confirmed the date and time before we left. Come the day of the appointment, there was a missed call from an unknown number and no message a hour and a half before the appointment. We go 30 minutes before the appointment and we are told she left and the appointment was 30 minutes earlier. Things that didn't make sense: If the appointment was at 10am, Why did she call at 9:30am? Why not call at 10 if we didn't show up? Why leave if the tattoo was scheduled for 2 hours? I think something came up on her end and she needed to get out it. After some back and forth, we rescheduled. Unfortunately, it is cold and flu season and we woke up with the flu. We completely understood cancelling this and losing the deposit. We were 100% ok with that. However after trying to rebook and repay the deposit, Alison decided not to rebook. This isn't my first tattoo. I understand time, talent and deposits. This just left a sour taste in my mouth. We found another artist at a different studio. Not impressed with the scheduling nor the service. The art was good quality. No idea how the quality of the tattoo.

Gnosis Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery is hands down one of the best shops I've been to...my…read moreartist...Slim...may be young...but his talent is next-level...he's meticulous...creative...and truly passionate about his work...one thing I really appreciate is that Slim takes his time...not to stall...but to make sure every detail is done right...he even reaches out with suggestions if he thinks it'll improve the piece...which shows how much he cares about the final product. The shop itself is clean and professional...with a relaxed and welcoming vibe...all the artists are friendly and supportive of each other...which adds to the great energy in the space. I've got a couple more sessions to go...and I'll definitely add a photo once the work is complete...but so far...I couldn't be happier with how it's coming along...highly recommend Slim and the entire Gnosis team if you're looking for quality ink and a great experience.
