The freshest tabouli, moutabal, warm pita.

Strolled over to Haddad's and were greeted by warmth, and a cheery table next to a window. The smells of bubbling stews, fresh herbs, and roasting meats drove us to scrutinize the menu, and we chose the Lebanese combo with a side of moutabal to split beteeen us. I felt like I was being deeply nourished in both body and soul by this food and will be dreaming about those tender, meaty green beans, deeply browned gyro, savory, fat rice, and the freshest tabouli, until next time.

Spent a few days in Peoria, a friend I know that grew up here recommended I try Haddad for a gyro. It's a small restaurant on Main Street that serves Mediterranean food. Inside seating for about 8, a quiet neighborhood spot. I ordered the gyro sandwich. The food was prepared and ready in 5 minutes. I prefer the meat sliced from the rotisserie and grilled. The meat was pre-cut. It was tasty, well seasoned and tender. Appreciated the recommendation.

Delicious chicken curry platter. Huge food portions, very friendly owner. It is fast becoming my go to place for my meals.

Been there a few times. The food is decent. A solid 3.5 stars. I have the gyro, soups, and salads there. A good spot for lunch.

Excellent food, very delicious and fresh. I have lived in the middle east as a kid and trust me this food at haddad's is authentic.

I got the gyro special which is a gyro, fries and a drink for around $12.00. The food is always so good. The fries here are always freshly cooked and crunchy! They're delicious. The gyro is excellent. I also ordered the cheese balls. They were yummy. If you're looking for a great gyro come to Khoury's on University. It's been here forever. They have a large menu of non Mediterranean items too. But I always order the gyro.

I personally got the falafel sandwich and I could tell it was authentic and it was extremely tasty. For 3 combo meals and a 15% tip it was around $50 which isn't too bad for lunch. They also have a case of treats that you can purchase. There's desserts as well as hummus and other mediterranean foods. I recommend the hummus it's TO DIE FOR. One tip I have to give to this business is I saw at least 3 different people walk up to the counter asking for silverware. It might make it easier on the staff if you put some out so you're not constantly interrupted :)
