At 10:45 they called me and told me that they were on the way. We were at the Vet with our dog down the street, and Blake arrived and emptied the tank. We showed up shortly after and he was finished, all by 11:30. The cost was cheaper than we were quoted from other companies, also. Turns out the old pipe was a 3" pipe, and should've been a 4", it also had a couple of 45° angles in it, and someone years back had tried to snake it with a 1/2" piece of pvc which had snapped off inside and was creating a terrible clog. We helped dig it out and chatted. He's very mellow and personable and humorous! He was pretty booked, too, but managed to squeeze us in after another job, which was great, especially considering it was right before a major week-long snow storm. We'll definitely be using him in the future for any plumbing situations that come up. He's reasonably priced and knows his stuff. Definitely recommended!

I am hard to educate. Robbie also has a good sense of humor. Look for the sign on the back of the pump truck that says "We deliver milk on weekends". Poynor is the septic service I will use in the future.

I have learned that in the world of septic repair, a homeowner can really be taken advantage of…read more Between price gouging and unreliable contractors who stand you up, it can be really frustrating when you have a septic issue that needs to be addressed. I used Lewis Crafton five years ago to replace my septic pump and he did a fantastic job for a fair price. When I saw some issues with one of my lines recently, I had to call another company because Crafton was busy. The other company came out and shut the line off and I didn't see him again, for the next year. I wanted to close out the permit so I called the company who started the job, and he would not commit to a day, or even a week. So, I called Lewis Crafton again and he was over the next day, assessed the issue with the county inspector, and the day after the job was completed. It was a fairly major repair with two lines having to be replaced. They worked non-stop and caused minimal damage to my yard with their heavy equipment. I hope I never need septic work again, but if I do, I will only call Lewis Crafton.

Woman that answered th phone was terribly rude. I had been on the phone for hours. Calling company…read moreafter company trying to locate someone that could pump a drain line out. From well companies, septic companies, plumbing companies, equipment rental companies Even called a woman at a port a jon company. Some were no answers, some were messages left and others were just a "no". Well apperantly I had already called them and left message for them to call me "if" they could help me......Like I said, i had been calling all morning and had lost track. Boy did I get it when I called her back. I told her who I was and what I was needing and she immediately was very rude to me and said " no we dont do that" I said Ok, can you tell me why? .... Now by asking this I am truly curious and feel her answer might better lead me in the direction I need to go to get this taken care of. That was mistake number 2. after she yelled at me about how " theyve never done it thats why. I'm not gonna send my men out to do something they dont know how to do and with noone there to give them direction" I said whoa, Im just trying to figure out if its because your hose isnt long enough or if its an equipment thing. that was mistake number 3. She then told me she just doesnt know why im calling to begin with. If ive already called and left a message and she didnt return it then obviously they cant help me..... I apologized and told her I was very sorry I bothered her and I would never call them again. This is not how a business can behave. She could have gone about that very differently. She could have taken some time out of her day and talked me through things. She could have just called me back and said hey, we got your message but thats not something we have ever done and we arent comfortable doing it. Or she could have said hey did you try these guys maybe they can. Or better yet actually listen to what was actually needed to see if they could help. I will not reccomend them to anyone. I would rather pay more and wait longer if it means I do business with a nice person
