Overall, we had a great experience with Dr. Sami. He had excellent bedside manner and took the time to address our concerns regarding hypertension. Dr. Sami ordered the appropriate tests and labs to help establish the right treatment plan and ensure my husband's hypertension can be properly monitored moving forward. We felt comfortable with the care and attention he provided. One recommendation for anyone having an echocardiogram or a coronary calcium score/heart scan using a CT scanner: Before paying out of pocket through the cardiologist's office, I highly recommend checking with your insurance company first. We were initially told that the heart scan was not covered by our insurance and were encouraged to schedule the imaging through the office. Instead, we decided to contact our insurance provider directly to verify. Thankfully, our insurance approved the request, and we were able to have the scan done for only $9 out of pocket, compared with the $140 we were quoted through Dr. Sami's office. Overall, we had a very positive experience with Dr. Sami and would recommend him. Just be sure to verify imaging coverage and pricing with your insurance provider before paying out of pocket, it can make a significant difference!

This is from a heart-healthy patient who is fully aware of family cardiovascular history and simply wanted to establish a proactive relationship...I have since found a more compatible & available cardiovascular specialist.

Dr. Vasquez took excellent care of her while she was having some serious heart episodes. It was late Sunday Easter afternoon when she was discharged along with a script that had to be filled before 9am Monday. I took her home and immediately went to Walmart pharmacy. When the script was ready I was shockingly told it would cost $389 for a month's supply. $389!!!!! She had a generic version for $10 just a year ago!!!! The Pharmacist could not give an alternative for some reason even though Dr. Vasquez wrote that. Anyway my wife put a page in for Dr. Vasquez and he called her back. Late Easter Sunday evening. He was upset with the Pharmacist and asked my to come to his office by 9 the next day. He had left 2 months of the medication for my wife for FREE! Yup, he is now my wife's new cardiologist.

If you owe more than a cent they won't let you see your doctor until you pay up and will have this conversation with you out in the open for all to hear. I was a Kelsey patient for years and I highly recommended OBGYN Dr. Findlay-Smith. But the staff service is poor and could be avoided by going elsewhere altogether.

More often than not, the front desk employees come across as passive-aggressive, rarely acknowledge patients when they arrive, and don't seem welcoming or friendly. For many patients, the front desk staff are the first people they interact with, often when they're not feeling well or are already stressed. A warm greeting and a little kindness can make a big difference. Instead, the interactions often feel cold and uninviting, which leaves a negative first impression. I hope Kelsey will provide additional customer service training to ensure every patient feels acknowledged, respected, and welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.

Also one of associates put in contaminated pacemaker they needed up causing ganggreen in chest and had to spend 6 months in ICU and died 4 times and now in over a million dollars in debt. And when the other hospital and other doctors replaced pacemaker found fingerprint in blood on supposed to be sterile pacemaker and that was what caused infection. And attorney's tried to get records but they delayed everything until statute of limitations because in Texas you only have two years from install date and for a year of it I was in hospital and rehab don't use them find another group be warned!!!

NOTHING about my visit justified these excessive charges. I have disputed them and no response. The services I received DID NOT match the severity level they billed me for and tests were performed without consent including a excessive $684 pregnancy test. Multiple CT scans done without informing me. These are predatory billing practices. I do not recommend this predatory billing emergency center.

Very nice/professional employees and every time I called they answered all of my questions and always called me back quickly. I would definitely recommend this company, they were great. Houston Hospice - Diamond Team, lasted a week before I had to fire them and find another hospice…read morethat could provide end of life care for my mother. To begin, their intake nurses are rough, belligerent and detached. The lady we got could care less about my mother, she just wanted to do the minimum and get out. Not a single commitment was upheld, not one. We called for support and help four times in the first week and the average time to hear back from someone was two hours, then another two hours for a nurse to arrive. So if you have an emergency, just call the ambulance and have the hospital take care of it, it's faster, and your loved one will suffer less. Now, as a result of me firing them, they became hostile, threatened to make me pay for equipment they left behind and failed to retrieve. They never took into consideration that my mom had died and their employees, having missed the appointment to pick up the equipment, lied and said a dead woman was preventing them from getting it. We choose to go with another company who was hands down better suited for caring for end of life patients. Houston Hospice is a money game, you are a dollar sign, if you are cool with that, then use them.
