In those 2 years, I spent nearly $2,000 on tests, was limited to one day a out of the week for visits b/c he is too busy working at several other locations and if I'm going to see the doctor I want to see a doctor and not his PA, questionable billing and bills, a confused yet polite staff (that's the 1 star), but a doctor with a rude and unacceptably mean bedside manner. This is from a heart-healthy patient who is fully aware of family cardiovascular history and simply wanted to establish a proactive relationship...I have since found a more compatible & available cardiovascular specialist.

They set up the office in Baytown for echo, nuclear stress test etc..testing is done there except a CT scan that the insurance doesn't recommend because isn't necessary. This test is done elsewhere because the insurance doesn't cover it so they can't bill it. I found out soon after that Dr. Sami doesn't do stents are any type of procedures any longer.He only does the testing of this facility.Because that's where he makes his money. If you need anything other than a test they refer out yo people they know. Even the bloodwork had to be done in his office even though my labs aren't covered by them. I completed the testing and I found a new cardiologist but almost a year later they are still trying to bill me for things they didn't cover. I returned a heat monitor that supposedly takes your blood pressure and they monitor but it doesn't work and they dont monitor it. I returnd it and seen others returning it as well for the same reason. They sent me a bill for $20 and I was supposed to get a refund because my account was paid in full. I have called so many times no one ever calls back but the last name Terri said they have lots of people calling for the billing lady and she understands that I dont owe the money. Six months later I got a bill from a collection agency and they said it was a billing mistake thst I owe $70? My insurance has been notified of the scam for charges I don't owe and for me not to pay them because they have been paid in full. I will call once more tomorrow and if they don't help me I will file with the BBB and take whatever actions needed to stop this harassment and scam.

Dr. Vasquez took excellent care of her while she was having some serious heart episodes. It was late Sunday Easter afternoon when she was discharged along with a script that had to be filled before 9am Monday. I took her home and immediately went to Walmart pharmacy. When the script was ready I was shockingly told it would cost $389 for a month's supply. $389!!!!! She had a generic version for $10 just a year ago!!!! The Pharmacist could not give an alternative for some reason even though Dr. Vasquez wrote that. Anyway my wife put a page in for Dr. Vasquez and he called her back. Late Easter Sunday evening. He was upset with the Pharmacist and asked my to come to his office by 9 the next day. He had left 2 months of the medication for my wife for FREE! Yup, he is now my wife's new cardiologist.

And when the other hospital and other doctors replaced pacemaker found fingerprint in blood on supposed to be sterile pacemaker and that was what caused infection. And attorney's tried to get records but they delayed everything until statute of limitations because in Texas you only have two years from install date and for a year of it I was in hospital and rehab don't use them find another group be warned!!!

Houston Hospice - Diamond Team, lasted a week before I had to fire them and find another hospice…read morethat could provide end of life care for my mother. To begin, their intake nurses are rough, belligerent and detached. The lady we got could care less about my mother, she just wanted to do the minimum and get out. Not a single commitment was upheld, not one. We called for support and help four times in the first week and the average time to hear back from someone was two hours, then another two hours for a nurse to arrive. So if you have an emergency, just call the ambulance and have the hospital take care of it, it's faster, and your loved one will suffer less. Now, as a result of me firing them, they became hostile, threatened to make me pay for equipment they left behind and failed to retrieve. They never took into consideration that my mom had died and their employees, having missed the appointment to pick up the equipment, lied and said a dead woman was preventing them from getting it. We choose to go with another company who was hands down better suited for caring for end of life patients. Houston Hospice is a money game, you are a dollar sign, if you are cool with that, then use them.
