Minerva is quite literally a miracle worker. I don't know how, but she knew exactly how to treat me. Minerva is the best! Acupuncture was recommended to me during a period of intense stress, to help me relax and cope better. I noticed improvement for sure - less tension and relief from physical pains. One day I went in to my regular appointment with the beginnings of a migraine, and she was able to immediately relieve the pain, and the migraine was gone! It felt like magic but it is skill, because she's managed to resolve quite a lot of other issues with similar speed. It's amazing. I was referred to Minerva by a friend after I was kicked by a horse and had stitches across the back of my hand. After several weeks of healing I could barely grasp items due to the scar tissue that was forming. Minerva was excited to help and knew just what procedure would help restore my hand. She did 4 rounds of injections into my hand around the scar to break up adhesions that were limiting motion in my hand. I had no idea Acupuncture could treat allergies! I've had seasonal allergies since 4th grade. Minerva cured my allergies with one treatment in the early spring. The world needs more people like Minerva. I can truly say I wouldn't be here without her healing and guidance the past 2 years. I was raised not believing in natural or alternative medicine but after hitting many road blocks with surgery, prescriptions and medical specialists- I was curious to seek out accupuncture. I originally came to Minerva to treat severe allergies. I had chronic sinus infections every month, took 4-6 allergy pills a day and weekly shots with very little relief. I had sinus surgery and although had some relief wasn't getting what I needed. I had been struggling with anxiety after losing my father at a young age that was impacting my relationships; years of over prescribed antibiotics lead to several food intolerances and digestion issues; and was told from an early age by doctors I would struggle to get pregnant. About a year and a half ago my back went out and I was bed ridden for three days. My friend recommended me to Minerva and I haven't had a problem since. Every time it starts to act up I let her know and the pressure is gone by the end of my appointment. After she fixed my back she also noticed that I had digestive problems and my skin irritation was a symptoms not the problem. I had been seeing various doctors for over the last ten years. They all said that it was a skin issue but couldn't find away to fix/heal it. After talking with Minerva and fallowing her advise I was finally able to get it under control with in weeks. First let me say that I'm not a real acupuncture type of gal. I work in the health care industry and have always been dubious about the value Eastern medicine provides, but I can't say enough good things about Minerva. A short time ago I was working out and tweaked my lower back, which resulted in my pain level at an all time high. At work the next day I could barely walk or sit down. I called Minerva that day to schedule an appointment for treatment. Going into her office my pain level was around an 8. I walked out feeling relieved, with my pain level down to a comfortable five. Minerva contacted me the next day which was a Saturday and upon hearing my pain was still high, offered to try a new technique on me. That day I went in with my pain level higher again around a 6-7. These techniques she used on me were all natural, targeting points to release natural opium's in my body. I walked out that day and my pain level was between 0-1. I worked with Minerva on fertility issues and throughout my pregnancy. She not only took the time to understand my health history, but she proved very effective immediately. Her compassion and knowledge make a wonderful mix in a provider, especially now days when so many doctors have less time to spend listening to their patients. When working with her on fertility, she decreased my cycle length times which ended up helping us get pregnant. She did this in only a couple months' time. I started seeing her in March and was pregnant by July. In addition, I saw her throughout my pregnancy.
