I had a referral from my PCP to this clinic to get some rapid (within 4-6mo) hair loss looked at. I was worried it was something other than androgenic alopecia and might be something else. I had done a ton of reading on things it could be (I have a masters degree so I know how to do my research). I was told the clinic took my insurance (First Choice). I had my appointment and the MD spent maybe 15min at most with me, telling me things I already knew, only did a quick (15sec) look at my scalp, and said it's probably androgenic alopecia and offers a prescription to oral minoxidil and finasteride. Nothing special was done. I left the office and asked if there was anything I needed to pay and they said no. A month later I get a bill for $211! I call insurance and they tell me that since the MD billed under the diagnostic code for androgenic alopecia it wasn't a covered visit so instead of a $35 co pay I had to pay it all. They told me the billing code was for "moderate diagnostic methods at least 40min" which I do not agree was done. I feel this clinic should have communicated that such a common billing diagnosis wouldn't be covered by my common insurance. I understand that ultimately I should have checked with my insurance first, but I didn't know what diagnosis they would bill under. I will not be returning to this clinic. read more

I have seen Sean Strother for severe, systemic psoriasis many times. During the pandemic, he tried to force the Covid vaccine when I already had documented cardiac antiphospholipid antibodies (autoimmune antibodies). When activated by any vaccine, they cause me to form blood clots. Vaccines of any kind also make my psoriasis explode. I tried to explain this to him, and he got mad at me and told me to "stop looking at Facebook" and get the shot. He also had me on a biological medication, which is also not safe to take with a vaccine. He does not listen to patients with serious concerns. I fired him. I cannot recommend this Dermatologist as he would have most likely killed me had I followed what he wanted me to do. Zero stars! read more

I came in for a skin spot removal; they used a freeze machine on it for about 30 seconds and said to let it rest and that I'll need multiple more appointments for full removal. Was never told this before the 1st appointment. They then hit me with a $375 bill out of no where and expected to me to schedule multiple more appointments at that rate each time. Seems like it could have easily been removed at the first appointment but want to milk you for further $. Very non transparent about cost. Exact reason healthcare gets a bad reputation when it comes to shady cost scams. Avoid this place! read more

I visited them some times. It has been better since the pandemic because it is more natural now. Everybody is nice eventhough I felt like they would try get done with the visit quickly. I would feel in a rush I don't know why. I could see now they are pretty busy and would schedule emergent cases too to help everybody. But Doctor is good and can help quickly too. What made me feel uncomfortable is that I arrived with a lot of questions. Some where basic ones about my own skin but important. Doctor told me that I could do whatever works for me. That didn't answer my question and made me feel like "what's the point of seeing a doctor?". I needed a recommendation or an opinion. So they are good and knowledgeable at performing surgeries and treatments but I guess answering questions would fall under a more extensive visit $? read more

This is an optimistic 4 Stars review at the moment. The procedure is still work in progress, but the staff is pretty nice about trying again and again. Anyway, I went in for a PicoSure procedure, which is a laser spot removal treatment. Supposedly, it's effective even for tattoo removal. So far, it's been fairly successful with the lighter, old acne scars. But I have this one bigger, sun damage scar that is stubbornly not going away. The technician (esthetician?) hasn't given up, and I'll be doing my 3rd round soon. I appreciate the persistence in her trying to improve. So, this is maybe a 3.5 Stars, but rounding up to 4 Stars for now. The facility is in a medical campus with one story buildings. It's easy to find, following Google. The parking is plentiful even if not immediately outside. read more

Dr Strother had a great sense of humor and was very fast and efficient. I had some cysts removed from my head, one of which had come back after an earlier removal. I thought I had perimenopausal acne - on my first visit, Dr. Keck immediately identified my issue as Rosacea and started my on a regime that cleared it up quickly. (I joined the Rosacea support pages and learned that having a doctor that can identify it and treat it effectively is pretty much a unicorn.) So thankful for Dr. Keck. But it gets better, went for laser treatment after my face cleared and it was awesome. Think it was Megan Landis and it was the MOST effective laser treatment I've ever had for redness and broken capillaries. So thrilled to find the professionals here. All the staff were rushed, rude, immature and uneducated, they were pushing me to fill things out and do things I was uncomfortable with, ignoring my concerns, making assumptions, and one was inappropriate to me. They also messed up the booking and appointment, and were completely unapologetic about booking me for an additional charged appointment I already had said I didn't want! Dr. Strother himself was absolutely horrible and uncomfortable to deal with and deliberately mislead me about a procedure, messed up the procedure, and wouldn't hear my complaints and was going to charge me to even consider correcting the procedure! Dr.Strother and his team are so amazing! I went here for a wound in my armpit that wouldn't heal. After countless visits to different doctors, a few misdiagnoses, and months of wound care, the wound was bigger and more painful than ever. It was in such an awkward, difficult to heal spot but Dr. Strother knew exactly how to care for it. After my first visit, a week later it was healing and hardly hurt at all. He is so knowledgeable and really cares about making you feel comfortable. The women at the front desk are always very kind and helpful when checking in and making appointments. As a busy working Mom I called the office and asked if they could schedule three back-to-back appointments for myself and my two daughters. Not only was the receptionist accommodating but she was really helpful getting us an early morning visit that would not impact my kids school schedule. Went in today for a basic skin screening after putting it off for the past few years. There was a woman doing covid screening in the office's atrium and then once in the office I was immediately helped by the front desk. The wait was very short. I had my appointment with Dr Megan Neill. She exudes kindness and warmth. She performed a thorough check of my skin and I was put immediately at ease. I didn't feel rushed at all. She was ready and willing to answer any questions/concerns. I will definitely be coming back for yearly screenings with Dr Neill after the great experience I had today. read more

Horrible customer service from both front desk staff and providers. This office is snobby and unwelcoming. Despite the amounts they charge you when they make your face lopsided or joker like you will have to pay for the fix because they will say it looks great! Even when your face doesn't even look like you anymore. I went to another office to have the issue resolved and they were shocked when I told them my experience with this office and how poorly they treat their patients. I was told by them their reputation is going downhill fast as I wasn't the first to go to them for fixing issues they caused to others faces. Would never recommend and would never go back! I just had my first visit and met Dr. Strother. I had 3 different concerns and Dr. Strother was able to quickly diagnose my problems and set my mind at ease. It's very scary when you find what looks like a suspicious mole, so I was very happy to learn it was not even a mole and just a strange ingrown hair follicle. I found Dr. Strother to be personable and a real no nonsense, tell it like it is sort of person. It's very refreshing to see a doctor like him, who doesn't try to over explain a simple problem and is candid. Very unprofessional staff! Rude and uncompassionate! I am a recent new patient and had made two appointment and missed them. I missed them because my mother was in the hospital and passed away.Needless to say say, my mind was else where. I called to reschedule and the receptionist told me I should be more responsible and that I was never allowed to come back as a patient! I understand that missing an appointment is rude but cut a person some slack in this situation. She didn't even say sorry for my loss... I am a long time patient and used to see a provider who is no longer there. I've been happy with the person I see now. No complaints about her. The front desk staff used to be so nice but they seem to have a new person now. They messed up my appointment time and were not at all empathetic when I called to say the time on my calendar does not match that on the confirmation email. I was told I could reschedule for another 2 months out after already scheduling this 2 to 3 months out. I NEVER schedule appointments too close to school drop off as it makes it hard to be on time and this clinic will refuse to treat you at more than like 10 min late. This was their mistake! The receptionist was defensive and made no effort to acknowledge their mistake or help fix the issue. So now I'm going to need to figure out a way to be on time after school drop off. Given all the issues with traffic in totem lake it's going to be a challenge. I'm not happy with them making a mistake and refusing to even admit it. read more

Dr. Strother removed a cyst for me and he was so funny and easy to talk to that it was a complete breeze! Normally I get queasy and lightheaded when I even see a needle but he made me so comfortable that I barely noticed what he was doing. I've been going here for a few years now for Botox. Initially I knew nothing about any of this but a friend of mine who's in the industry highly recommended this office over anyone in Seattle. I commute from west Seattle and afternoon a couple of nightmares with other offices, I will never go anywhere else. Megan Landis has been my go-to but everyone here is great. They will start off conservative, and slowly educate you as you go. My face looks amazing and it's never over done. I also recommend for dermatology....
