A Bardstown, KY MUST STOP shop! Friendly, fast service with a cute shop and a down-home feel, featuring amazing donuts!

    Donuts, take out only.

I'm in love! Best donuts I've ever eaten. Not surprised there was a line out the door. It moved fast and was worth the wait. Prices were low for the exceptional quality.

Hardorn's is just off of town square in Bardstown Ky, the bourbon capital of the world. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a variety and all were light airy and delicious, we can see why they have been in business since 1935

Hadorn's bakery is a popular downtown bardstown Kentucky donut and bakery just of the historic main strip of the city. A few of my friends have been telling me a long time I have to make it to bardstown early one morning and try a famous "yum yum" donut from this place. So this past weekend me and the girls. Made the trip out here. It was a little later in the morning and closer to afternoon so they didn't have as many options left. I personally was able to grab a yum yum donut and so was my oldest daughter. My other daughters just went with some chocolate chip cookies. The yum yum which is a rather large donut that kinda gave me cinnamon roll vibes was very good. I can see why it is popular. My daughters said the cookies were tasty as well. Service here was solid. Not much to it. Carry out only so you go to the counter with the options sitting behind the glass and make your order. Pricing is pretty solid and probably on the lower end considering it is in a touristy part of town. Overall we had a good experience. I'm sure we will absolutely be back in the future to grab another yum yum and check out other options.

Beloved in Bardstown, and for good reason. It took us four attempts to secure the bag (granted the first two times we tried were holidays where they were closed, the other times we were too late and they had sold out). Make sure you get there early! There's always a line out the door, and when you're in line you're hoping that once it gets to be your turn they still have the goodies you're looking after. I'm a weirdo and I don't do chocolate, so I load up on pecan bars. These are delicious. Everyone else salivates over the chocolate yum yums (I think that's what they're called!). The prices are super reasonable too, so it's so easy to support! Overall, this is an absolute gem in Bardstown. Even just looking at it from the outside it calls to you, and you know it's going to be amazing. Would highly recommend!

    Donuts and a pastry

Some of the best donuts and pastries around! This place is located in a good little spot where you can pull off to the side of the road and park. They are quick but unlike other places you do not feel rushed. My favorite pastry is the one with pecans on top. Not sure the name but I'm sure of what it looks like....looks goooood!

If you're ever in Bardstown, stop by Hadorn's bakery. They have a variety of fresh donuts made daily that melts in your mouth. I got the almond baton (yeast donut with almond paste). They're known for yum yum donut (yeast donuts with cinnamon). The ladies at the shop are very friendly, engaging and helpful. The bakery is a quaint, clean store with street parking.

I wish everyone would quit writing good reviews, so they are not sold out every time I go up there! Great Bakery!

The display of doughnuts looked incredible with so many unique and creative options it was honestly hard to choose. We tried a few different flavors and every single one was delicious. The doughnuts were soft, fresh, and perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they put real care into both the flavor and presentation. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They were helpful in explaining the different options and made the whole visit feel personal and inviting. The shop itself has a cute, local feel that makes it a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick treat or just stopping in to try something new. Everything was clean, organized, and well put together. Overall, Dough Baby Doughnuts is a must visit in La Grange. Great food, great service, and an all around fun experience. Easily five stars and we will definitely be coming back.

I don't know what I was expecting because of all the five star glowing reviews. I get donuts at OMG in Etown and Krispy Kreme in Louisville regularly. The items here were comparable to that but did not exceed them which I was expecting. The apple fritter was its usual knarly self. It did have a sweetness about it. The chocolate glazed was a bit different pleasantly so. It was a puffy pastry that had a sugary layer (not as thick as Krispy Kreme ) and only a smear of chocolate. The service was quick and friendly put the disparate pastries in separate bags. The establishment does a brisk drive thru business. The location and building looks as if it was a former Captain D's. I would love to give it 5 stars but OMG is still in Etown.

I was in Campbellsville for a weekend and upon meeting my parents at the end of the visit they were raving about this little donut shop they had stopped at. You won't find a staggering array of choices like some places, but what they do have is done incredibly well. You will never go wrong by stopping here

Yesterday earl afternoon on a Sunday o stopped in here to grab a dozen assorted donuts. Pricing wasn't bad. Just over $12. However be warned they cash only. I had no idea and did not see any signs specifying that. Didn't know until it was checkout time and the lady shook her head no. Luckily next door at super America my personal bank fifth third has an atm. So I walked over and got some cash out since she leeway boxes the donuts up. They had a solid selection left still for being later in the day. We got a good mixture. A coupe glazed, chocolate, long Johns, blueberry, Apple fritter and a honey bun. Donuts were solid. Not the best I had but they were pretty good. Had nice soft texture to them. My peeps always favorite was the blueberry and then probably the glazed. The long John wasn't the freshest. But that may have had more or do with what time I was there. Overall it's an average donut shop. Nothing to get too excited about. Had a small dining are with wooden Mickey Mouse decor. My biggest complaint and advise would to be start taking credit cards. If you can't or refuse to do that then at least post cash only signs.
