I will echo what others have said in giving Hagerty a low rating. OK, so they want you to have another car per driver, fair enough. What they don't tell you through the whole process is that they also want you to have an inclosed storage space for your car, no matter what. Don't have one? Tough luck. Never mind that paying for a garage completely defeats the point of going through them for cheaper insurance on an occasional driver classic car. Never mind that there aren't any trees or other hazards anywhere near my car or driveway. Never mind that garages have their own set of risks. Meanwhile, I have wasted my time going through the process with Hagerty and my other insurance company. Payed a full years premium for full coverage to found out from my agent next day they changed my policy to comprehensive only but the premium was still the same. "Wait What"? So what we found out is that Hagerty only covers cars up 500 hp. My Dad has full coverage on his blown street rod at 1200 hp and I was told by Hagerty that he may think he is covered but is not. They never informed him of the policy change to date. My 55 Bel Air However is a blown 1400 hp street rod classic that I think deserves to be insured for the value. Apparently there are a lot of street rods driving around that have no coverage due the stipulations Hagerty put in place but they will still collect that premium. I started out thinking that Hagerty was a great insurance company and have (2) 69 Pontiac GTO's insured by them,but now after 3 years I see how they really are. I filed one claim in 2016 and then a year later when my renewal came up they increased my premium and unknown to me changed my deductible from $0 to $500. I did not find this out until last week (5/25) when I reported that a vehicle in front of me flung a rock and put a small chip in my windshield. So I called Hagerty and explained what had happened and the lady informed that since it was only a chip they could send me a check for $60 to repair the chip. I inquired as to whether this would count against me and if it would I would just as soon not file a claim for the chip in the windshield. The lady then explained that she did not know whether it would go against me or not and that i would need to talk to the policy dept regarding my concern. She then transferred me to a gentleman in the policy dept. I explained the reason for my call and my concern as to whether filing a claim for the chipped windshield would go against my record. He informed that yes indeed it would so I told him then for the $60 they were going to send for the repair that I would rather pay the repair out of my pocket and not file a claim. he asked where the $60 check was coming from and I explained that the lady in claims told me that what they would mail me for the chip. He said that's incorrect and not possible as my policy has a $500 deductible. I informed that I was not aware of this and would not want to file a claim under those circumstances. He informed me that he did not know why my policy had a high deductible as most policy's are $0 deductible. I asked if I could get that changed and he checked and responded that yes I could decrease the deductible to $0 for an additional $32 per year. I agreed and paid the $32 via my credit card then he transferred me back to the lady in the claims dept. She did not answer so I left a voice mail indicating that I decided not to file a claim and to please call me to confirm my decision. after hanging up the phone, about 5 minutes later I received a call from the gentleman in the policy dept. that he unfortunately had given me the incorrect information and they would not be able to reduce my deductible and that Hagerty would refund my $32. I asked why and he said he did not know only that the underwriters declined to accept the reduction. I asked if I could appeal that and he said yes and he would request an appeal on my behalf. Well as of Tuesday(5/29) I had not heard back from the policy or the claims dept. so I called and asked what the status of my policy was. The lady in the policy dept took my information and put me on hold to find out situation. She returned and said that the underwriters declined my deductible reduction because of 3 claims in less than 3 years. I asked what 3 claims and she said that I had 2 claims in 2016 and a claim filed on 5/21/18 for glass repair. I informed her that the information was incorrect in that i had filed only one claim in 2016 and that I had informed the claims dept. that I was not going to file a claim the the glass repair. She indicated that the claim I filed in 2016 was being counted as 2 claims but did not know why and that the new glass claim was being counted as the 3rd. I told her that their information was incorrect and it needs to be corrected and also that $32 was taken out of my account for the deductible reduction but was never refunded. She said she would look into it and call me back. I am still waiting for those calls: confirmation of decision to reduce my deductible, confirmation that my glass claim is not filed and confirmation regarding my refund. it appears to me that its time to find a more customer friendly insurance company. As the commercial on TV states what good is insurance if you are penalized for using it! read more

I went online and spent about an hour doing a quote on a prepped Lotus Elise to be insured just for Garage storage and transportation to and from in an enclosed trailer. I did an "as stated" policy request and was given a price for the policy and paid it. I then received a call from them asking how I can to the value and I stated I had a build sheet and receipts. Then then asked me to email them that and they would get the policy written. The following day I got another call and the person stated that even though it is an "as stated" policy and I had receipts and build sheet (which included no labor), they would only insure it for 60% of the value. I asked why that was and the only answer was, this car without work would only be half of what we will insure it for, we will not insure it for full rebuild cost. Long story short, wasted about 3 hours of my time, and even with all docs proving the value on an "as stated" policy they still won't insure for what it is worth. read more

I have always used Hagerty for my personal cars and referred numerous clients to Hagerty. Probably had 15 cars with them and I build custom cars and hot rods for a living. I have never had a claim with them, my credit is stellar, my record is perfect. But when I go to insure my own hot rod for half of what I have in it, they will only cover a third. What happened to agreed value? Why did they tell me 2 years ago when I started this project and I asked them, as long as I did not have power adders no problem. Well here we are 2+ years later and I can't drive my newly finished 275K build because they will only insure it for 85K and want to charge me almost double what I pay for my other 3 cars valued the same. To say the least I said no, I am not renewing my policy. Submitted all my info to Grundy and JC Taylor. No problem, agreed value at 40% less.... I will never use them again, I am sending letters to all my client data base that all have been using them and explain that they should also shop elsewhere. I have one maybe two clients that hate change and might not change but I bet I get 95% to switch. This company has changed and not for the better. They just do not care anymore and just want your money. You all can do better than Hagerty! read more

They DO NOT pay claims! My car was hit due to no fault of my own. The at-fault driver was ticketed, but his insurance fell short of my stated value. I turned to my own Hagerty policy after my agent advised me to do such. Hagerty has done nothing to help me for nearly two months. Now they keep asking for ridiculous documents, pure craziness. I have cooperated fully, but it is to the point that you give one thing and they want ten more. I have had to refer them to my attorney at this point to even begin to make any sort of sense of it. It is my belief that they will never pay me due to all of the reviews I have read. It seems to be what they do as a customary business practice; collect premiums for coverage that you think you have, but you're really not covered at all. It seems to also be customary practice for this company to tell you pure LIES! This company is a complete FRAUD! They will lie & twist your words, tell you things that you know that are not true & they know they are not true as well! I have cancelled my entire policy with them since no insurance is better than thinking you have something you really don't! This company only insures "Trailer Queen Vehicles".. So, if you plan on actually backing out of your garage and down your driveway, they won't be able to help you. They only insure vehicles that live on trailers and in locked FBI surveillance garages that have several cameras and at least three armed guards 24/7. They only want to insure cars with zero liability. Which is like me only wanting to work for an employer who doesn't actually make me work! Hagerty is useless!!! Their customers service leaves a lot to be desired as well. After calling for a quote recently (and being on hold for way too long) I felt like I was talking to someone from High School with zero professional skills who was using slang and abrupt comments.. I've never had a claim with Hagerty, but I've insured a collector car with them for several years. They were recommended to me, so I just went with them. I have usually found the representatives to be somewhat rude, and not particularly forthcoming with details about what they'll cover. This is in contrast to their advertising, which depicts them as your "car buddies." They are most certainly not. I'm not saying they're the worst. I grit my teeth whenever I deal with any insurance company. But somehow, some way, every time I deal with them, I end up annoyed or offended. Apparently I'm not the only one. I'm going to check around with some other established collector car insurance companies and see what they have to say. read more

Im not happy. Went to my local insurance office to have hagerty put on my 1984 chevy show truck. Did the quote and put down my driving record(wreck in 2014 and wreck in 2017). All came back fine with a $348/year quote. I dont drive it a lot as im building a new engine for it. I had already agreed and paid for it. I get a call from my insurance company a few days later saying they denied coverage for that price and it would go from 348 a year to 870 every 6 months. My main insurance company was 880 every 6 months and they've been wonderful. Cant believe i was denied coverage even though i had paid already and had my record on my quote. They look for any reason to turn you down it seems. read more

I went online at Hagerty.com and received a quote prior to purchasing a collector car. After purchase, I went online again to complete purchase and received a new quote at exact same premium as it has been 30+ days since first quote which had expired. Processed application since premium was still the same. Received a call next day and was told that their system had made a mistake and that my premium increased by 24% over both earlier quotes. IT WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH!!. All ended well as I refused to pay the increased premium at Hagerty and contacted Grundy which processed the application at a premium that was 13% less than the Hagerty original quote. read more

I have had 6 vehicles insured by Hagerty for about a year. I bought a retored, beautiful, loaded 1964 Gran Turismo Hawk with floor shift, white vinyl top, genuine flawless wire wheels, factory a/c, power steering and brakes, custom paint job in original horizon green with silver metal flake, topped with ceramic coating. I bought the car at auction, called Hagerty within 3 days of purchase, asked for $25,000 stated value, and received a quote for the premium. The agent at Haggerty said they would bill me for the additional charge for adding the Hawk. I paid the additional amount within a few weeks, long before the policy could have lapsed. I paid $1,870 plus an additional $10 for adding my Hawk. I hired a professional 5 star-rated transporter bring it to me in Louisiana, and as it sat on the 9-car double-decker trailer it looked absolutely gorgeous. The driver, however, was careless (after leaving the key on in the accessory position so it would not crank due a dead battery, and backed the car by gravity, since he had drained the battery so it could not crank). But he then allowed the car to get away from him while on the down-side of the trailer, and it crashed (driverless, without the emergency brake or park engaged) into a Toyota Landcruiser which he had negligently parked behind the ramp of the trailer. The rear of the 2 cars came into contact, heavily damaging the trunk lid of my Hawk, plus the right rear quarter panel, taillight, rear valance and rear bumper (which had been triple-coated and looked NEW). I reported the accident within the next day and later discovered that Haggerty chose to insure the car for less than the $25,000 stated value, but would only insure it for $15,250-which is much less than the true value, which Haggerty's price guide would reflect the true market value to be approximately $35K. I am greatly disappointed in Haggerty's tactics, though I still have my claim against the transporter's insurer, Progressive Insurance Co. I have multiple claims: property damage, loss of use, disappointment and emotional stress as I yelled "No, No, No, No," as the car rolled, driverless, into the Toyota. I also have a diminished value claim in addition to the costs of repair. This diminshed value will be especially harsh if the car is declared a "Total Loss". The diminished value could be the entire value of the car in its pre-damage condition: $35,000, plus repair costs, etc. But I paid Haggerty for insuring my vehicle, not for reducing the car's coverage simply because an accident occured during the 30 day automatic coverage period. Their logic sucks! It looks like I will be shopping with others in the near future. Litigation is probable, though neither company has made any offer. It's a good thing that I am an attorney and understand all their crap. read more

I filled out all their info, was approved, they charged my credit card and then a day later today me they would not insure me. That I was too high risk since I had a couple glass claims. Here in Arizona it is illegal for insurance companies to hold glass claims against someone because we have so many dust storms, it can not be helped. They were notified before they charged my card I had glass claims. I have zero points against my license, zero at fault accidents , zero collision claims and they said I am too high risk for a car that gets trailered every where it goes. I have never. Stay away. Ahh ya, when I asked them if this was right they said it was my fault and they can deny me for the glass claims if I want. Filing a claim with Hagerty has been the most difficult and insufferable process I've ever had when filing a claim. There is never an adjuster available to speak with (or any upper level management for that matter) and when you finally do get someone on the phone, they are of no help. Hailey makes no effort to expedite the process, even after making promises to do so. It's been three weeks since I filed my claim and I am still fighting tooth and nail to get things done. I overnighted my title to ensure my total loss would get processed and my rental extended before they all disappear for the weekend and even though they promised to process it that Friday, they pushed me off until next week. My tracking shows that my title was received at 10am that morning, but no one felt the need to take care of it. Now I will have to return my rental this weekend while they are in possession of my original free and clear title. Hagerty has no integrity and abysmal customer service. read more

I had my 78 MG Midget insured with this company from 2004. I never made a claim I used the tow once in all those years. I moved and stored the car with a friend who was trying to sale it for me. He didn't drive it, however. It was registered non-op. Hagerty canceled my coverage because I had the car up for sale. When I argued that, they then said it was because it was stored with a friend. Neither of those make sense. I have the right to sale the car and I have the right to store the car. Why would my friend get coverage? He doesn't own the car. Stay away from this company. They also took my yearly payment right before canceling. Convenient. They also did not notify me when they canceled. I went months thinking my car was covered, only to find out when I checked my policy online. They will take your money, but never honor a claim. read more

I became interested in signing up with hagerty, I started the process and received a call stating they needed pictures and other information. i complied and emailed them what they needed, i did not hear anything for 3-4 days and had to call them back to make sure they got what they needed. They said everything was fine and they were eager to take my payment, i asked when i would get insurance cards mailed out to me, they said "right away", two weeks later I still haven't gotten them. My point is for such a high profile insurance company you shouldn't be dropping the ball like this. I paid $1425 for two cars for one year, with my experience starting out like this i am a little nervous as to whether I should have given them my business. If I could give Hagerty zero stars if I could. What a horrible experience and A WASTE OF 5WEEKS OF MY TIME. I found them by Googling for classic car insurance and they showed up on top, I should have known it was just cleaver marketing and all down hill from there. I called in, quoted and placed a binder on my vehicle and went to look at it. I purchased the car and submitted my application with some minor changes to the vehicle descrptioin I was not aware of when viewing the car online (disc brakes, power steering & air ride). Turns out having AIR RIDE on your car makes it a LOWRIDER and I was told by a CS rep that 'those type of vehicles attract different crowds and create higher risk' --- Really? What is that suppose to mean? Additionally do not check the box 'Pleasure' on the application, it means you are not that 'into the hobby' according to Hagerty, you are better of lying and saying you are in a club and will show the car beacuse their stats show those type of uses create less loss. So I completed the app, submitted copies of my insurance for my personal vehicle, photos of the car I HEARD NOTHING BACK FOR DAYS. The binder expired and I reached out to them to see how my application was going to be told I was denied. IF I HAD NOT CALLED THEM I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN I WAS DENIED. I RECEIVED NO CALLS TO EXPLAIN THE DENIAL. So my car gets denied for being a 'Lowrider' so I dispute it, obviously becuase my car by no means displays traits of a 'Lowrider'. I use to read those magazines in High School and never seen a car even close to mine in any of the ones I read. I push to have a more experienced underwriter to only be denied for my WIFE"s driving record (she wont even be driving the car!!!) . Do yourself a favor and do not use HAGERTY. Well they have declined insuring my historic military truck because I live on an dirt road. Come on guys, it is an old military truck in the process of restoration. They were intended to be used on dirt roads. They even advertise in the MVPA magazine which should be considered as false advertisement. They were blunt, and borderline unprofessional. Sad part is I know many other vehicles that they insure, and dirt roads have never been an issue. I will start pressing all my contacts to watch out for false advertisement. read more

I Inherited a classic car from my uncle. The car was in the family for 10 years insured with Hagerty. My uncle passed early last year and I was able to garage the vehicle and put it back on the road at will as executor with no problems. The policy expired a month ago under the estate and I took the car of the road. I called today because I the car has been garaged and sitting. I was advised in order to keep the car in good shape it is a good idea to run the car occasionally and drive it to a few shows during the season. The first agent I talked to today had no problem insuring the vehicle. I had to run out to my car to get some supporting documentation and they said they said it was almost all set. They just needed the info. I get the information, I call back and the second agent denies my application because I said I'm not sure what I want to do with the car so I'm taking it out to a few local shows and see if I might sell it in the future, but I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with the car. At that point she informs me that I can't insure the car with Hagerty. Since this was the first time I ever heard of this policy ever and I couldn't find it on their website or in any terms of service anywhere, I asked a question of how does someone who is buying or selling a car test drive it? The agent then took it upon themselves to assume I was going to have other people drive the car. I tried to start over here because clearly there was a lot of assumptions and said OK I changed my mind, I just want the car on the road this year for some shows, forget about me selling it. The agent insulted me and said I was playing games and wasting her time and lectured me about allowing other people to drive the car. I asked for a copy of this policy citing "actively selling" to be sent to me and she agreed. I knew it was going no where so we hung up. I never received the policy in writing. I recalled asking to speak to a manager. I asked him to explain why I had been denied what notes are in that file. He told me there are no notes in the file. I explained to the manager that the agent assumed too much and explained the situation that I just want to drive the car and put it on the road, it should not sit for extended periods. He was totally on board for setting up a new quote using my previous information. I also told him I wanted to add the roadside coverage. He told the quote was all ready, and it almost ready to package out and he just wanted to put me on hold. I waited on hold for some time and he came back hesitantly that before they can send out and approve my application they wanted to review my phone conversation with the initial agent. I asked him what made him rec-consider that since he was willing to take my information, package out my quote etc and finalize everything. He told me that he put me on hold to talk to the previous agent, and that he can't finalize the quote because what he wants to do is review the recorded conversation and then decide to send out the quote. I declined their services at this point. I then asked for the policy in writing. I was not given a policy but an emailed explanation where whomever wrote it assumed way to much.... In full disclosure here what they assumed which none was of fact.... Dear Mr. XXXXXXX: Thank you for your interest in Hagerty. We are contacting you today per your conversation with XXXXXX, regarding your quote. Unfortunately we are unable to offer new policies on vehicles that are actively for sale, for a few different reasons. The first is due to the fact that we do not have the appropriate rates to charge for the added risk exposure the vehicle would have while being test driven, and/or while potentially left on display either outside and/or away from home while for sale. Additionally, we only offer year long policies and have no payment plans available. A vehicle that is actively for sale would generally be better covered under a standard auto policy that is able to offer better liability coverage, and where short term policies and payment plans are available as well. We do appreciate you having taken the time to quote with us, and apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this has caused...... The policy is technically a new policy, but that's because Haggerty chose to cancel the policy that was under the estate. But the fact of the matter is ownership, garaging and coverage are just continuing under a new policy number. I've maintained the policy and the vehicle all last year with no incident. At this point, I was disappointed and hurt. I've lost my my mom recently, then my dad, and now my uncle. This car was a something that made me re-connect with them. A few of my uncles and my dads friends asked if I could bring the car out in tribute with them to a few shows because future plans were made and then my family died. Had them for 4 years. Thought very reasonable. Moved the car to another state and had to make a change due to my life partner of 18 years becoming incapacitated. Spoke with a lady who acted like she cared and would take care of my change when i provided my power of attorney. Sent it in and NOTHING! I've had Hagerty Insurance for 15 years on my 4 antique cars. I have never had a claim with them, and have only had to use them for a couple of tows. I have their Plus Roadside assistance. Last week I had a chance to use them to get towed as I broke down off a major route in Brooklyn in the middle of the day. I called into their Roadside assistance group and the agent said I should have a tow truck there w/in 30 minutes. After a number of calls over 4 hours I eventually get a tow off of the highway, which I have to pay for myself and put in for reimbursement with Hagerty, and then wait another hour for a tow from Brooklyn to my mechanic. 4 hours broken down in the middle of the summer off a highway in Brooklyn living through what was a true joke of a call center that has to be a poster child for incompetence and confusion. After waiting a couple of days for it to be investigated the answer is that they acknowledged there were a number of gross errors on their part along with miscommunication etc.. but hows about we send you a gift card and your experience will help us maybe not screw up so bad again in the future.... I'm confused as to what benefit I'm getting from this group and from the other feedback I evidently am not alone. This experience came a couple of months after my premium renewal where they suggested I increase the value of my collector cars since the market for them has increased in recent years. They even gave me what they suggested i increase them to. So I put in for the increase and they all the sudden wanted additional documentation and photos etc.. and when I did not get it through to them in time, they denied the increase and said I had to reapply. What a PITA they are. The only time I need them to help me with highway roadside and they leave me stranded for 4 hours baking in the summer sun while their confused agents try to figure out how to get me towed and dropping the ball at every chance. And when there is an opportunity for me to pay them more money by increasing the values on my cars, at their recommendation mind you, even then they can't make that easy or simple for me and make me jump through some hoops. I think it is time to review other options. I can't see how another provider could be worse. Even if I have to pay a little more on insurance, getting real service and customer support like I'm used to getting on my non-collector cars with a regular car insurance company would be refreshing. read more

Like other reviewers I jumped through ALL of the hoops and was denied coverage until my vehicle is stored continually in an entirely enclosed and secured garage. I have a secure parking space at my business that is in the base of our building with full security and private access only. (Despite all the options on their website as pull down choices for unsecured options and that unsecured locations can be used to acquire a quote! Since Ill occasionally store at my home they are denying coverage. Unless you plan to drive inside your garage...don't waste your time and risk being uninsured should something happen OUTSIDE your garage. HUGE SCAM to get all of my info? Hagerty puts on a good show with their advertising but are uncompetitive rate wise. I got a few quotes for insurance from different collector car insurance companies, and Hagerty's rates were at least 6X more than the closest competition. I was shocked as I had gotten quotes in the past on my other collector cars and they were more competitive. Not now though. I have a great driving record and no claim history. So, I ended up going with one of the other larger collector car insurance companies. Word to the wise.......get quotes from a few different companies like J. C. Taylor and Grundy. I am a ticket and accident free driver interested in Hagerty insurance, but was denied coverage for "not having an alternate vehicle" and for "proposed annual mileage that is too high". 1. I have an alternate vehicle. However, I live and work in Boston, on the Harvard campus, and have no need for a vehicle. So it is with a family member in another state as a favor to them. I told a Hagerty representative that there was an alternate vehicle, but that I hadn't included it in the original application due to its geographic location. Being up front. 2. Anyone who has lived in a major city that is compact with a public transit system, cabs, Uber (Boston, NY) knows that a car is as much a hassle as a help. One should not be penalized for living in a city in which a regular vehicle is unnecessary. 3. I had originally put in 5,000 miles as an absolute maximum mileage. Actual mileage would probably be closer to 2,500. This is only going to be a pleasure vehicle. Speaking with someone from Hagerty, they recommended that I increase the mileage to 7500 "to be safe". Then was told that was one of the main two reasons why the application was denied. I called a representative to ask if these made a difference. He curtly said that he would make a note of them but that it wouldn't change the decision. Then bid me a good evening. I only gave this company one star because you cannot give it zero. After reviewing my garage, I was denied coverage. The policy was already paid. Now I have to try to get my money back. Look for a better company, Grundy or J.C. Taylor. You will be better off. read more

Don't even bother with Hagerty. I was denied coverage on my classic car because I had a comprehensive claim on my OTHER car that they do not even insure. read more

Almost 2 years ago I signed up for a policy for my Mustang and at the time went for historic plates, then after realizing the limitations on the plates, I switched to regular. Fast forward to renewal... The issue was that online, it does not let you modify the plate type and so after verifying that there was no difference in a new quote for the plate type, I increased the amount insured for, payed for everything and thought it was done for another year. Nope. In their infinite wisdom, they want new pictures of the car (they had pics from the previous year) in the middle of winter. Who brings out their classic in the middle of snow? They decided instead to cancel the extra amount and adjust my coverage to the same as the previous year. In January while I was on vacation, they requested proof of my plate. Since I did not send it in, they sent me a letter stating that they were adjusting the policy to be a normal plate. Then came the almost 100% increase. I sent them a letter to cancel my insurance, they sent me an invoice, repeat, repeat. I call them and they refuse to cancel the policy, invoice, or anything else. Keep in mind, I did not approve the change, they do not have anything proving I agreed to the new amount or that I still wanted their coverage. So they decide that they will "work with me" and if I send them my declaration page from the other insurance company, they will cancel to that date.How about canceling back to when I asked? How about giving me the option as to if I want to continue with your coverage once the rate changes? I told them I will send them the declaration page if they send me a copy of my approval of the change in coverage or premium. They hung up. All I can say is AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! No business worth a salt would try to invoice you for an unapproved change, just as I wouldn't send them a bill for my wasted time. Maybe I should. read more

I went online to fill out my app...just before submitting it I decided to read reviews. Wow! Needless to say, I cancelled my app and decided to keep my car under my Liberty Mutual blanket policy...it was not worth saving $300 after reading countless bad reviews of Hagerty. read more

The absolute worst. I recently tried to obtain insurance on my Lotus Esprit. I was told that I could not obtain insurance due to the fact I was parking the car under covered parking and was within 100 miles of the coast. Of course it didn't make any difference that I had insurance with Hagerty for almost 10 years before taking the car off the street for total restoration. When I pointed this out the lady was very rude and stated well Sir our underwriting criteria changes. I asked if I could pay more and obtain insurance and they like the fascists they are stated No this is what we need period no discussion. The bottom line is I asked my State Farm agent and they underwrote the car in five mins at 22 dollars a month for 20k protection almost 1/2 of what Hagerty wanted. So my advice to anyone is to stay away from these con artists and ask your State Farm agent etc. By the way I have never had an accident and have always paid my bills on time. Total trash con artist company, like so many in America these days. They treat you like a criminal and/or a commodity. read more

Great company if you have never had to have a claim for anything, I had two windshield repairs since 2011 on other vehicles not even under there policy and they said they count that as a at fault due to no one else being involved. I laughed at him at first but then realized he was serious so I asked if I talked to the rocks on the road and could get them to understand that it was frowned upon and to not chip the windshield any more would they reconsider, needless to say Grundy said it wasn't the first time they had stories like that about them and lowered my payments by 100.00 every six months so I guess I should actualy be thanking Hagerty for saving me money. read more
