The doctor is an excellent doctor. He is personable and a very pleasant person. The problem is with the front staff. They don't answer the phones. They let the calls go to voicemail then they may call you back in a few days. When they called me back I was unable to answer my phone. I called them back immediately, and got the answer machine. Dr Peng has done two surgeries on my foot. One bunion surgery and one a toe fusion 14 years later. In both cases, it was as close to being painless as possible and still have had surgery. My bunion surgery healed beautifully and 14 years later. It still looks great and feels great. There's no visible scar. I just had the fusion two weeks ago and had relatively no pain at all the entire time. I still have a pin in my toe, but I think I'm going to be very happy. Dr Peng is a very good doctor, I have been to him for my orthotics, an ingrown toenail, basically anything having to do with my feet! The office staff is very friendly to me and I never have to wait to see the doctor. I recommend highly. read more

I've been under Dr. Peng's care for a brief period of time but i'm impressed. He explains things thoroughly, and is happy to answer questions. The two young women i've met who comprise his staff are both efficient and a delight to talk with. Dr.Peng put my mind at ease about two "weird things" (my term, not his...) on my foot and actually recommended leaving them both alone rather that doing a procedure on them which wouldn't harm but ultimately wouldn't help in the long run. It has been over a year since my foot surgery performed by Dr. Peng to remove a lipoma and I have been very pleased with the results. My initial and post recovery visits as well as the surgery were during the Covid slowdowns of 2020 and the staff followed all Covid safety protocols and were very proficient at getting everything scheduled for the surgery and dealing with insurance. Dr. Peng & the medical assistants were professional & personable. Although my specific issue perplexed Dr. Peng & there was no clear resolution or path to recovery, he was willing & seemingly eager to take on the challenge with respect to my injury & subsequent wound. He was thoughtful & had a sense of humor, which, in the face of a frustrating & debilitating wound, was refreshing. I felt like I had a partner in the process. However...the reason for the 3 rating is due to the front office staff & the part time billing individual. In a nutshell, they were consistently apathetic & disorganized in all areas with exception to one: collecting payment at time of service. The condescending, confrontational & apathetic attitudes of the females at the front desk & in billing fly in the face of what health care is all about. Ultimately, their apathy & lack of follow through put me in a very difficult position. After working with Dr. Peng for a couple of months to resolve my issue, he decided that surgery was the answer. Unfortunately, I never received a call to schedule the procedure. I called twice & went in personally to attempt to schedule. Apparently, their scheduler was initially out & then I just fell through the cracks. Due to the wound status on my foot & the need to take action, I was forced to start all over with a different surgeon & ended up paying the same copays & out of pocket fees all over again. I would recommend Dr. Peng. However, his front office & billing staff is representative of his overall approach & his patients' well being, healing & positive attitude & therefore I encourage anyone considering Dr. Peng to determine if the front office is a match prior to delving too deeply into a treatment protocol with this doctor. read more

This is the foot doctor that cured me! I had been misdiagnosed by another podiatrist having Achilles Heel injury. Had me in a knee high boot and advised me what to do. My pain worsened me to tears. Then my primary sent me to Dr Peng. Dr Peng examined my foot and immediately changed my diagnosis to plantar fasciitis. Had me out of the boot with a treatment plan that WORKED 100%. I was so impressed and grateful. Now I go for regular tune ups and Dr Peng has me walking pain free. That's a huge deal and I highly recommend this podiatrist. So.... there seemed to be a lot of guesswork on dr pengs part as far as my diagnosis was concerned. after custom-making some orthotics, he failed to inform me to wear them for only an hour a day in order to build up to them. this caused severe foot pain for me within two days. i couldnt even walk. driving a manual car, going to school and working left little time for me to be stuck in a foot cast and getting cortisone shots. the shots provided little relief and he suggested that i try tylenol for the pain. ive got to say, i have a very high threshold for pain and tylenol did not cut it. ive always had an unexplained fear of needles touching my feet... and that fear was realized with the peng. he has a good bedside manner, though, and one of the girls there is very friendly. read more

I am very satisfied with the treatment I received (and am still getting) from Dr. Peng... I have yet to see anything that would cause me to reward less than 5 stars. The office is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly. Dr. Peng seems very nice, and was able to quickly diagnose my problem. While some docs are quick to jump to jamming you with some cortisone, his approach appears to be to work on the root cause of the problem. If you end up needing orthotics, be aware that not all insurance policies will cover this. They make it a point of warning you about the cost before you set foot in the office, which is nice...not as nice as insurance picking up the tab, but still totally appreciated. read more
