I don't normally engage with vendors in a parking lot but this one time I did. Stephen Hunzelman from Hail Medic approached me about the hail damage on my Ford F-150. After only a couple of minutes of discussion, I liked the guy. Very friendly, very professional, and knew what he was talking about. All good signs to me. We made an appointment for him to come to my residence to do estimates and go through the entire process for my vehicle repair. And he was TRUE to his word because that's exactly how it happened the next week. We went through the process of what would happen once more, I gave him the keys to my truck, received a rental car, and relaxed feeling pretty good. He contacted me each week as promised for updates and Hail Medic handled all insurance requirements. Not only did Hail Medic do an OUTSTANDING job on the PDR, but Stephen also even arranged for another dent repair not related to PDR to be done by another center. I received my pickup back and it is IMMACULATE. No kidding. I am pleased. This is a long post but I want to recognize Hail Medic and specifically Stephen for the job they do. Quality work is very important. but professional, friendly Customer Service is an absolute in the days, to be there to answer your questions and make you feel comfortable. My vehicle was completely damaged from front to back due to a recent hail storm in north Fort Worth. I've never experienced car damage before and had no idea where to start. Days later I came outside to leave for work and a hero by the name of RICH approached me about my vehicle. He began to tell me that he can get my car repaired, wave my deductible and put me in a rental all at the expense of my insurance and Hail Medic. My immediate thought was that this is a total scam. It was unheard of. I researched the company and sure enough it appeared to be legit. So, I set up a date and time with him to do a car exchange and they did the claims right on the spot. I literally had to do nothing but show up. I was in a rental in minutes and my car was done in 12 days. I was updated frequently and even received photos of the progress. My vehicle returned the way it was before the damage. Weeks later my car is damaged again from another storm, but I know exactly who to call. RICH did everything he said he would for me. Amazing experience, Hail Medic handled everything for me, came to my house and delivered a rental car to me. It cost me absolutely nothing. My insurance company told me it wasn't enough damage to file a claim. Shocker...they lied. I had over $9k in hail damage on my truck. It was completely covered in small dents. Former employee - Jeff the owner is a vile greedy human. Treat 1099 employees like slaves, talk trash behind employees backs (Jeff & Casey). 70hr work weeks and then handcuffed on how you can sell...and end up doing a bunch of free labor for the team leaders customers. Avoid this shop at all costs - there are so many other PDR companies that will give you better quality service and work on your vehicle. I had an excellent experience with Hail Medic. After my neighborhood got hit badly they showed up and after talking to them and reading reviews, I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did. They are great communicators and were always available. They also went above and beyond to get my truck back early so I could tow my RV for a planned trip. Whole process was painless. My hail wasnt too bad, there were a handful of big dents. Car was out for 2 weeks. They had a nice 2021 Tacoma loaner that was great. My guy James up there was consistent with his updates. I only had to speak to my insurance once and they sent out an adjuster. Hail Medic and my insurance worked together to get my hail fixed.
