Just say 'No.' Not entirely sure where to begin on this…read morebecause there is so much to write. Well, there is so much to write about here. We hired ARS to renovate our master bathroom. We were told the job would be approximately 3 weeks to do. We paid half up front & the other half was to be due upon completion of the punchlist items. The job started off great! Prompt on the demo and clean up. Then the problems started... Now, we are not experts in design at all, and they provided one to us for tile selection. Turns out that the tile we chose for our shower floor had to be hand laid, which resulted in poor grout lines in the shower. ARS stated that it was due to the walls not being straight, but they had it down to the studs & could have fixed that initially. Then there was the project manager on our job... He was a new hire and supposedly had a lot of experience. Unfortunately, he had very poor communication skills and did not keep us up to speed on the work. Add in a poor attitude and let's just say that he wasn't easy to deal with. Then there was the bathtub... We were told to use Google image search to find bathtubs we liked. We did & presented the options to our sales guy. After trying to talk us into a different tub, he finally said that he could get the exact tub we wanted. It would be more money, but we were ok with that. So, I sent a confirmatory email (with picture attached) for it. When the tub was delivered, it was not the correct tub. We told them that & they tried to say that it was correct. Even the owner of the company, John Hogan, said it wasn't the same tub when we looked at the picture together. Then there was the shower... It was initially tiled by one of their guys. Unfortunately, the gout lines were not even and the shower floor wasn't even either. Needless to say, my wife wasn't happy. So, they told us it was because of the tile we picked. Again, we had no clue because the designer they gave us didn't let us know, probably because it was her last day when she met with us. So, they redid the shower floor, after getting us another designer. This time, they used their best tile guy. And it was certainly a better job than the first time, no arguments there! But, the grout was still uneven on the floor, even after changing the tile to one that they company said would be easiest to lay. Through all of this they kept saying that our satisfaction was their priority. To whit, the original project manager was fired, the owner of the company was to then be our project manager, but he handed us off to another new hire. This last PM tried his best, but even told us that "It's difficult to come in and try to fix something that wasn't done right in the first place." My thought was, 'I agree! So, why not take it all down & start over?' So, finally after 3 MONTHS of this, ARS comes to my wife & I and states, "Look,we're not gonna be able to make you happy." We settled what was left of our bill and they left the job unfinished. At this point, I am working with multiple subcontrators to finish the job. The sales guy, Jeff, and the second project manager, Fred, were the bright spots. Also, they did a good job on the floor of the bathroom as well.

Today, Warnerimp emailed me 2-1/2 hrs. before the scheduled time of installation asking for product information. However, I did not see the email until during the window of time for installation. I responded immediately with the product name & installation guide (with 1 hr. & 20 min. left in the installation window), only to receive a response that they needed to reschedule & asked for alternative dates. I told them I was cancelling the order, and that I did not appreciate finding out they needed to reschedule during the time they should be installing the faucet. Warnerimp responded basically blaming me for not responding early enough - that they had written earlier today & that I didn't write back until the time of installation. I told them they shouldn't wait until the day of installation to email a client requesting information needed to do their job. Not to mention that this had been on their books for over a week, AND they had my phone #, which is generally a much better way to reach someone if you really want to get something worked out quickly, rather than hiding behind an email sent on a Saturday morning. Also, shouldn't a company such as this understand which tools are generally needed to replace a sink faucet?? Honestly, I think they just didn't want to work today. To me, this demonstrates unprofessional, petty behavior, & I will not consider them for my household needs in the future. Too bad, because I just bought a home & I would love to find a professional company with good customer service.

He was very professional and did the job in a timely manner. I bought two balusters that was the wrong size and he offered to go to Home Depot get the correct ones and some caulk but I did it while he was eating lunch. The staircase looks great.

They had many "work around" situations that had to be repaired and were able to fix things without having to tear everything out and start over. The daily site supervision kept everything flowing smoothly and moving forward so they were even able to finish ahead of schedule. When needed, Cameron and Ray both jumped in to do work themselves. They treated our home like their own. The quality of their work was outstanding and at the end of the job, Cameron stopped by to make sure we were completely satisfied. Definitely a class act company and we highly recommend using them!

The initial consultation was straightforward and he brought samples which were helpful. He did a great job listening and quoting for the work I asked for. He worked with my budget and overall was easy to work with. I had some challenges with his team's arrival times not being consistent, and the timeline seemed to take longer than originally expected, but these things happen during renovations and in the end wasn't a huge deal. The entire project took about a week. The final fit and finish were well done, the grout work and glass install were clean and impeccably installed. Finally, a small issue we found with the install was addressed in a timely manner.

Be careful if you hire. They upcharged us twice after work got started (once for $1000 and once for…read more$1400) for items that were addressed on the estimate. They were also the most expensive out of three companies considered. In response to Intown's reply: We did pay $600 more to fix the hidden trim work. We didn't feel it was right to pay an additional $1,000 for that and other items addressed in the estimate. As for changing the scope of the project, the recommended paint did not perform as described by Intown. We could not see our way clear to pay an additional $1,400 on a $14,000 job. We used to be one of those 1,400 satisfied customers. Sorry we could not work this out.

I called my friend that had recently told me how happy he was with some work he had done at his house on a water damaged bedroom. He recommended Intown Craftsman and I called them that very night. I received a response the next morning, a phone call from Russ Melton. He assured me a member of the team would arrive soon with an estimate and even invited me to call him personally if I didn't hear from the team soon. There was no need, I received an email and a call later that day. Russ showed up the next day and provided an estimate for the project. While I had him there, I showed him some other issues with the house that had been on my "to-fix list" and he provided an estimate for those projects as well. The cost was exactly what I expected, and I gave him the go ahead to schedule workers ASAP. They came within a few days, even though it was all happening around the Thanksgiving holiday. Jose and another roofer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) showed up early for the appointment but waited out front until the appointed time. They were courteous, kind (even to my very excited dog), and had the problem fixed in no time. They even installed additional flashing to the second skylight (which hadn't yet started leaking) just as a precaution, free of charge. The office staff were just as kind and professional as the roofers. I worked with Deb Burris who helped me with billing and scheduling. The interface for billing was simple, the contracts and estimates were clear and easy to understand, and she was very knowledgeable and responsive over texts, emails and calls. I will certainly be calling them again soon for those other household projects. I recommend using them if you have any home improvement or repair needs.
