I came here to do my bulky comforters. It was clean, safe, and the owners re always helpful

It's getting super cold so I decided to come here to wash my queen size Calvin Klein comforter and duvet cover. There are tons of washing machines and dryers. About 55 dryers and maybe 70 washing machines. They have different sizes for small and heavy duty 75lboads. The cheaper/smaller washers are about $3 per wash and the massive one is about $9. I used the $7.25 size for a large comforter. Same goes for dryers, smaller and larger. This place is really massive, well lit, and you could see the lady working and keeping things clean. She was sweeping, mopping, and helpful. There is a change machine. I brought my own quarters, but its good to know I don't need to do so next time. Even though I have a washer/dryer at my place, it's not quite big enough for this comforter. I will come back for other bulky things to wash. Everyone was wearing masks as well, so that's a plus. read more

For bulky comforters and blankets that I hate doing one at a time at home, I either send them out or wash at a laundry facility. For the comforters and blankets that are inexpensive, I don't always like to pay $20-$40 per comforter/duvet cover for cleaning. For the expensive linens, we send those out. Haileys is clean, well controlled climate-wise as some competitors are sweltering in warm days. Pricing is competitive, and I like the fact that this business is attended during open hours by the owner and/or facilities manager. That, alone, is a plus over some competitors that have limited staff hours on the premises but are open 24/7. Regardless of the neighborhood, one can't be too careful with respect to security, especially in the middle of the night. There are some local restaurants nearby and a coffee shop across the street, so it's very handy to start a machine and set your timer to go get a coffee or snack. I have noticed that the clientele tends to be similarly respectable and polite as the owner/manager. read more

My washer broke and I was waiting on the parts to arrive. Someone on FB suggested this laundromat. Aside from the woman outside who asked me and everyone else for money, it was decent. Not dirty but not the cleanest either, in my opinion. I used the larger washer which was $9.25 (I believe) and a regular sized one which was either $6.00 or $6.50, I don't remember. I thought it was kinda pricey, but maybe that's the going rate these days. You get quarters from a machine there, so bring dollar bills to exchange. I thought it was quite funny that there's casino/slot machines in the back. Maybe people were hoping to win some of their money back from washing clothes, lol. Anyway, the machines did as intended, they washed my clothes. I took everything home to my dryer, so I don't know how much their dryers cost. The other customers, besides the lady outside (who eventually came inside to ask me for more money) were nice, as was the employee. Hopefully I won't need their services again, but if I do, I'd come back. read more

Take every preconceived thought you have about laundromats and toss them in the trash before walking into Haileys. Haileys is over the top clean, and by that I mean that everything is immaculate, the machines, the floors, folding tables and even the bathroom. The equipment is state of the art and in tip top shape. They offer washers / dryers designed to hold different weights of laundry, I recommend weighing washloads at home so one can make the correct machine selection to avoid overpaying for a large machine or stuffing items in a machine that's too small. It's also helpful, and more affordable, to bring one's own supplies but Hailey's does sell detergent, etc onsite. Not feeling the whole "wash your own clothes" thing, Haileys will do it for you, a valuable service for the time crunched. This is an excellent, well run laundromat. A word of caution, Haileys shares a small parking lot with a neighboring restaurant and it can be difficult to find a parking space on weekends-- especially Friday/Saturday evening. read more

The fact that you can drop off laundry and they'll have it done and packaged for you is amazing. No frills place but it's great.

I've been coming here every weekend for a few months now. The Owners are extremely nice and I often see them asking how people are doing. Always willing to help as well. The laundromat is kept very clean, including their bathroom. Would recommend to anyone around the area that doesn't have access to laundry at their residence. read more

Clean, plenty of machines , clear instructions and cost-effective. Open so there is a nice breeze while you wait. It's clean. There's coin exchange machine there. Drying time is variable depending on your laundry load, but expect at least 25 mins to dry. Great family run business, support local and choose to come here. Good value and amazing service. I hate doing my laundry in the community laundry room in my apartment complex. It's always dirty, messy, and it's almost as if no one has ever done laundry before in their life. So I decided to take my laundry and do it elsewhere. Yes, Haileys Laundromat is a little bit of a drive for me, but it's definitely worth it. It's clean, I'm able to find an open washer and dryer even on the weekends, and it's a pretty good value. I plan on continuing doing my laundry here. read more

This place was excellent. So many washers and dryers in many sizes to choose from! I had a comforter, mattress cover, and a bunch of bath mats and cotton rugs these would have cost a lot to have done with the laundry delivery services or dry cleaners. It was about $4-6 for each load, so I was very happy!!! I needed to wash my queen-sized comforter and my washer at home was too small. So, I found myself at Hailey's. What a pleasant surprise. Exceedingly clean, well-lit, free WiFi, change machines (of course), and ample room to sort/fold laundry. Even the restroom was nice! They have TVs playing quietly with cartoons, which I thought was a nice touch for parents who have to bring kids along. Since I haven't visited a laundromat in years, I was a little lost! The very nice attendant helped me find the correct size washer & ensured I knew where to pour in the detergent. What more can you ask for :-) read more

This Laundromat may have set the standard of Laundromats for me that all others are a disappointment. This place is very clean and available. They have 2 different size of dryers from "regular and large " I believe if you have large items they also have separate menu for you to pay ala carte for Hailey to wash it for you. For those who are busy and want to drop off your rugs, comforters, and what other fabric that is too large for your standard home washer and dryer. As for materials they have all the soaps and dry sheets and coins. They unfortunately don't have a ATM that i could locate. One of their employees- male - has an issue with going through customer laundry, specifically womens underwear, and would go through our undergarments in front of us, holding them up for the store to see. When confronted he said this was policy.... Mind you this is women and childrens clothes. When brought up to ownership, we were met with a dismissive response. This is so invasive, disgusting, and humiliating, we will not be coming back and the authorities should honestly be involved. read more

Found this laundromat by chance and even though it's a little out of my way it's totally worth it! I use the wash and fold service for my barbershops towels and because they were so awesome and charge a GREAT price I also bring my clothes. At around $1 a pound the time I save by not having to do it myself is a lifesaver. Not to mention the place is super clean and local family run. They are so nice! They also stay open until 10:30pm which is super helpful because I tend to work pretty late. So weather you need a place to do your own wash or, like me would like some free time back... this is the place! read more

My washing machine broke and the past two delivery attempts were unsuccessful so I came here to do a months worth of clothes for a family of four. I came with my daughter, the owner was kind enough to help me bring out the rolling basket and load all my clothes into the basket and she rolled the heavy load back into the laundry mat, she even showed me around. The place is very clean and the employees are very helpful. It's a friendly environment, clean, and not too crowded. I would go back if needed. I had to wash a comforter and a blanket while waiting for the dryer in my apartment to be replaced and I had a great experience at Haileys. I walked inside and was immediately helped by the staff, who told me where I could find an ATM (I had completely forgotten to bring cash), gave me one of those cart things, and guided me to a washing machine. After I got the cash and changed it to coins (they have change machines inside, obviously), I went to use the machine and another staff member showed me how to load the detergent and fabric softener and how to set it. They've got what seems like a lot of machines, including some bigger washers and dryers. They have surfaces for folding, benches to sit on, and free Wifi. It was really clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Really great place. read more

Lots of machines. Customer service was great. Only problem was it was hot as could be in May. Can't imagine coming here in August. Not the owners' fault but kids were running wild; pushing carts and screaming with no supervision. But what can you do. Parents can't make them sit like angels for an hour or more. read more

Came here for the first time today to wash two comforters. One of the employees immediately came to help me find a basket, pick the correct washers to use, get change, and handed me a small cup to hold all the said change. Super helpful. This place has made a great first impression on me. Using the 55 lb washers is $6.75 each, which seems fair. The 75 lb dryers will give you 16 minutes for $1, which is again, fair. The Wi-Fi is free here, and they have the password for it written on the wall. There's lots of seating, a vending machine, one of those coin-dozer games, and big screen Tv's. There are vending machines with bleach, detergent, dryer sheets, and laundry bags in case you forget something. They also have a next-day wash &dry service if you prefer to drop your stuff off and come back tomorrow. The only little qualm I have is the lack of outlets, but it's a small inconvenience. Just remember to charge your phone before coming. read more

Lots of washers and huge dryers. Washing in hot with extra soiled setting regular sized machines was $6 a load. Drying is like 25 cents for 5 minutes depending on the size of dryers. Clean and the folks running the place were nice. They helped me carry my multiple bags of laundry out to the car. Went on Friday morning around 9 am and there was hardly anyone in the place. Would return if I had to do another massive "spring cleaning" that would dictate 9 loads. read more

Place is okay. I had been going there for a while but got into a routine of going real late. Not recommended! It's a homeless meet & greet spot "after hours." One day I went around 10pm to do some laundry and found three homeless guys out front and one sleeping on the same bench kids play on, barefoot, rockin' a foul odor passed out inside. Not cool. The machines are usually dirty or have soap left over from user error(read the sign on how to wash and where to apply the soap!). Go to Circle Plaza Laundromat just across the street (in front of the Home Depot) their machines are cleaner and the staff pays more attention to what goes on inside the place. read more

I havent been to a laundromat for decades. My washer broke and i wasnt thrilled with options in DC. Helped right away by a woman at front desk. Its bright, clean and the machines all seem in good condition. I meed to learn to put less soap than at home but first 30 minutes have gone well. From the time you walk through the door you realize that this is a very well equipped laundromat. They have machines that vary in size from small all the way up to large enough washers to accommodate a king size comforter. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and were very willing to offer suggestions on machine size based on the type of laundry that we were washing. Hailey's is well-lit and also has large signs on the wall which clearly outline which machines are in that particular row. They are also open very late, some nights until 1 a.m. There are plenty of machines so there is never a problem finding a open one. All in all, it's the best laundromat I've ever been to and I have been to quite a few. read more

I haven't had to visit a Laudromat for a long time but our dryer decided to stop working after I had done a load of laundry. I was happy to find there was one located not far from my house. The pictures on the website looked good so off I went. I will tell you that as far as Laundormats go it's a laundromat. It wasn't fantastic or awful. There were many, many machines to choose from and as far as drying it cost 25 cents per 6 minutes for the dryer I selected. I think that is a fair price considering how quickly they dry. There were a lot of people in the laundromat, no one was overly friendly but no one was rude either. I will say that I'm fairly independent and not overly fearful but I did feel a bit uncomfortable in the small, poorly lit parking lot at night. I moved my car before it got dark and parked right in front of the door and that did make me feel better. Overall it was a fine experience. I would probably go back if I needed to. read more

The staff and owner are really great and helpful. I've gone in at all hours of their operation and have always been greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. Just recently tried their service and was thoroughly impressed, for those occasions when you don't have the time to do your laundry this have become a viable option (without breaking the bank).
