Despite my very very clear and outspoken desires about hair color and cut, Laura knowingly gave me different, wrong, and just bad work on both. In terms of the color: even at the time, she said *she* might not like it, but it was too late. I cried all the way home, have spent every day since trying to fade and wash it out, and it's still so bad: a drab brown instead of any of the other options we discussed, much less the desired color she knew I wanted. She refused to provide that, but even in that context, picked a color *she* did not even like once it was on my hair. Laura clearly said she didn't like the color she had put on my hair: but did nothing to fix it, charged me full price, and cut my appointment short for something more important because she had mistaken the day. The color is terrible, but the cut is worse: despite very very clear discussion about it as well, Laura did a horrible job: the worst I've had in decades. The "shaping" she did in the back has left me with a weird v-shaped depression that can't be disguised; my bangs were so long that I begged my daughter to trim them (she's a writer with no scissoring experience of any kind); the length at the front gives me no styling options: particularly not the styling options Laura herself recommended to me. Maybe because she noted my appointment wrongly - for a different day: wasn't ready for me, had something else more important scheduled too early to do a good job on my color and especially my cut, and cost me almost $300 for the worst cut & color I've had in this millenium. Do. Not. Go. To. Her.

Gracey was my fabulous stylist- she was lovely to chat with, was fast (I was in and out in 30 minutes) and made me look like I hadn't been on the water slides with my kids all week. They were pretty busy on this particular Friday morning, but it was also season in Naples so I guess to be expected. The blowout lasted several days until my kids dragged me on some more water slides in South Florida. I love a good blowout salon and would definitely try this one again when in the area.
