Absolutely love Jessie's work, and was very grateful to find her for a hairstylist. She is incredibly kind, genuine, cares very much about her clients, and is extremely skillful with her craft. She's always asking me and planning out the hairstyle before she actually starts her work, I'm super appreciative of that. Wonderful with her precision on fades, detailing, and layering on hair. It's funny, but she'll also notice the smallest little things about your hair that you wouldn't normally catch. Her salon is very clean and inviting. A good comfortable space with a relaxed atmosphere AND GOOD MUSIC! But most importantly... every time I finish an appointment with Jessie, I leave feeling like the best version of myself. She does such an amazing job with my hair, it leaves me stunned every time. I'm always getting complimented on how nice and crisp my hair looks. Only wish I could recommend more people to her, but sadly I commute infrequently to Rowland Heights for music teaching and don't know many people close to the area. Jessie is one of the best stylists I've ever met for a few reasons. 1. She genuinely adores her profession. I think even if Jessie won the lottery, she would continue to do hair. 2. Her salon is very inviting, clean and professional. They always offer you water or coffee or anything else you might need. 3. Whenever I leave her salon I feel very happy about myself and my hair. If anything at all bothers me Jessie is always open to talking to me about it and changing it if I need to at all (but that rarely ever happens anyway). 4. Whenever I get my hair done with Jessie, my hair is being complimented all week. Even other hair stylists want to know what techniques she used. I LOVE Jessie! And think this is a pretty good story... I was traumatized as a kid! My mom would have the worst ideas on what to do with my hair, like oh yah " cut it all offf" or "perm it" ???.. IDK. but it was pretty bad. Everywhere I went people always wanted to cut my hair short! NO! So, I started doing my own hair since 15 years old. I finally decided that after 10 years of doing this to myself, it was time to grow up and find a hair stylist! So.. I had seen pictures of Jessie's work through friends on Facebook, etc. She had a great record of working with blondes. I am blonde and needed someone who understands my hair. My first appointment with Jessie was AMAZING! Not only did she get me an appointment in a timely fashion but when I arrived she made me feel SUPER comfortable! :) She consulted with me before she even touched my hair, talking about what I really wanted. I just went in for a cut the first time because I wasn't ready to give it all up yet :) The cut was AMAZING and I received numerous compliments about it. The best part is, she didn't cut it short!!! Jessie has been doing my hair for years and is AMAZING! I have done so many different things to my hair and each time she transforms my hair into something so perfect, my boyfriend even notices :). Jessie embodies professionalism. I have been a client for many years (5+). I was first introduced to Jessie through a dear friend in Pharmaceutical Sales (who takes much pride in her looks and has a drop dead gorgeous blonde hairstyle) and been seeing her for even longer than I have. I had to know who my friend went to for her gorgeous hair- it is that chic and coiffed. My friend loves Jessie's work so much she travels a couple of hours from a neighboring city to have Jessie complete her masterpieces (as would I travel back to SD for Jessie, should I ever move)! Not to mention, Jessie is known for her excellence in bringing hair to the best blonde it can be considering the natural hair. Blonde is her specialty! Since having met Jessie, I have been blonde, medium warm brunette and most recently a dark luscious brunette. I loved every style she has given me. Well Jessie is nice, but you have to be when you own the place. She bleached my hair on new years eve and burned the hell out of my scalp. I'm still trying to get my hair to normal. It was horrible! My scalp was pussing and hurt for weeks. She had me come in before the store opened to give me a free conditioning treatment that did nothing! That was the last I heard from her. So she in my eyes is far from professional and needs to go back to basics and relearn how to bleach hair. I paid her $200 to burn my scalp and ruin my new years eve night! I have been going to Jessie for a year now and she has done an amazing job ever since. Before going to Jessie, my hair was bleached out and frizzy, but now my hair is exactly how I want it. She uses many tones of blonde to make the perfect look. Her work is also very consistent. Jessie is very attentive to my wants and she is a perfectionist, so your hair will always turn out perfect.
