Fairly new to the hood. Called last minute just needed a repair. Had just broken a nail halfway down the quick and it was so painful I had to get a tip put on it and wasn't home. was staying at a friends in the Shores. THE BEST! I had booked an appointment for my sister and I to get mani pedis. We were thrilled that I was able to get an appointment after a small game of phone tag. Upon entering we were greeted and promptly serviced. Trish did my nails and they look AMAZING (see attached bachelorette nails) I am obsessed with these! The massages were to die for and my sister and I both felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of. It's worth noting that another client entered as we were finishing up and not only did they greet her by name but both were so excited to see her back again! This was the best pedicure experience I've had in a long time. I called in the morning and although they didn't answer they called me back. I was able to make an appointment for the same day. I was treating mom to a pedicure as well and when we arrived there was only one other person in the salon. When she left we had it to ourselves. The view is magnificent. The service providers are very friendly and they were meticulous in their work. I got the Pedicure II and loved the massage portion. Had such a fun time getting pedicures with my boyfriend! I made a reservation on a Friday for 1pm and they took us right away! I also told them it was my birthday over the phone and they greeted me when we checked in :) I chose a color from their vast selection of polishes while they prepared our chairs. What I really loved about our time was actually talking with Ashley and Trish! They were so sweet, we bonded over places that we like to eat and visit in San Diego and Temecula, and they gave us great recommendations! They really made us feel so special and I had such a fun time! I will definitely go again, maybe with my mom or sister :) The salon is very clean and I felt very safe being there. There is a plastic divider that hangs to separate you and they wipe down the chairs after we finished. Called 2 days in advance to make the appointment and they actually took the time to get my name and the type of service I wanted. When my fiancé and I showed up they were waiting for us and everyone greeted us. Oddly enough we were the only 2 in the salon but it was definitely a lazy type of day. In the end that was one of the best parts! It was my fiancé's first pedi so she was a little nervous and they made her extremely comfortable! We all were comparing and suggesting local restaurants and shops and laughing non stop. THE VIEW! So wonderful with the doors open and the ocean breeze! Whenever I go on a trip I always get my nails done for 2 reasons. 1. Treat yo' self, amirite? After a long plane or car ride getting my nails done is such a nice treat. 2. I think it's a great way to visit local businesses. That said, this spot was amazing. First of all, I cannot freaking get over the view. Getting pampered with a view of the coast? Amazing. They also did an amazing job and took me in with no reservation right away. I went for gels because I need something a little more heavy duty and it was $35. Definitely not too bad for the location of the shop, the quality of the manicure, and just being in La Jolla generally. Something that was especially was remarkable was HOW MANY colors they had. It took me a solid 5 minutes to pick because there were so many. They were also super nice and very accommodating when I wanted one nail in a different color (I am ALL about the party nail).
