Lisa was super sweet and attentive, giving me suggestions on the type of products I should use to keep my hair healthy I came prepared with photos on my phone of what I wanted my hair to look like and Lisa did an amazing job!!! Let me just start off by saying, I have really thick and full wavy/curly hair. I wanted to go shorter, something that will be suitable for my hair/face shape. I have always had "haircut phobia" due to the fact that i have yet to have found anyone that can properly cut my hair. After spending a good hour reading reviews here on Yelp, I decided to go to Lisa. As others have said, her salon is attached to her garage, its very cute and comfortable with a massage chair you can use while you wait. Lisa herself is a very nice lady, friendly, and her experience with hair made it a very comfortable setting. Unfortunately, I cannot say the end result of my haircut was remotely good. By the time she was done blow drying my hair, I literally looked like a girl out of the 80's (in the worse possible way) by the time I saw my hair, there was absolutely nothing that could have been done. There was absolutely no fixing it ( cutting it shorter? no thanks) I'm sure she knew how horrible the end result looked..I honestly just wanted to pay and run out of there and cry. I thanked her, told her I liked it, tipped her, and left. *tears* I'm the type that tries to be as nice about the situation...If it cant be fixed, it cant be fixed..done and over with Worse part was, I had to go to work literally right after..Every girl wants to hear how "beautiful" your new cut or style is..Instead, all I heard was, "what happened to your hair!?", " who did that to your hair?" or the, "why would anyone do that?!" Today(day after cut), I washed my hair, and styled it as I normally do..*tears*...my hair looks dryer then ever, the ends look butchered...not properly cut at all..Looks like i'll keep my hair in a bun until it grows out..Let me just say I got about 7 inches cut off..there's no way my ends should look this dry.. Good thing is, hair is just hair and it will definitely grow back out.. For the ladies out there that have thick, full hair, I would not recommend this place. As a matter of fact, you're better of Youtubing it and doing it yourself. One star is for Lisa herself, she is a very very nice lady..I'm sure she tried her best... read more
