I had such a nice experience here. As someone who has always struggled with finding a stylist I left Theory so happy. Dawn took such great care of me and really listened to the feedback and styling I was looking for. I have always had really long and thick hair and she did a fantastic job with the things I wanted. Came across this randomly and was SO impressed with not only their accommodations for hijabis (a fully furnished private room with full sink, tools, etc) but also how kind the entire staff was! Anjelica washed my hair & Dina cut it, and they were both SO kind and sweet and talented. When the wait between wash/cut was a bit extended, Anjelica offered tea/coffee in between. They also recommended a place I can donate hair too. The cut was super cute and overall I left feeling very satisfied and happy. She's a Redken color certified stylist and I recommend her to everyone I know. My hair always looks amazing after she's done with it plus she gives out a lot of helpful information with styling. The salon itself is so cute, I found myself asking where they got a lot of their decor! They offer water, coffee, and even mimosas and beer. Along with Redken color they also use Kevin Murphy products. A lot of his haircare products were originally developed for skincare so the ingredients in them are pretty good. The salon is located inside the Phenix Salon suites off Aloma in Winter Park. If you're looking for a new place to go to definitely give Blur + Bristle a try!
