I took my daughter to see Carolyn today to correct some color she had done and she was amazing! Not only did she have a great personality, but so did the other stylist working in her salon. Kori did my first ever deva cut and for real, changed my life. I never knew how to take of my hair, what products to use, or how to get it to look it's best. I thought my hair would just look meh (half wavy, half straight ) forever. Turns out, I had the wrong hair cut and was using the wrong products and techniques by a lot. She gave me a great cut and showed be a wash and go style as well as a style with a diffuser. When I washed my hair next, I was nervous. Would I be able to replicate what kori did? I was used to getting my hair done at the salon and having one good hair day and then going back to the struggle. I replicated what kori did with my hair in the 10 minute wash and go routine she showed me. My hair looked amazing and like I used a hair wand on it. When in fact, I didn't use any hot tools! I made an appointment with Carolyn to give my hair a new look. Not only was she a wonderful stylist, but her entire staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. I was offered me coffee, water or snacks if I needed. Carolyn worked with me to understand what I specifically wanted to do to correct my hair color and formulate a plan and price that met my needs. Turns out the color wasn't being framed around my face, so we brightened it up and got it to glow. After many years of being natural, I have searched high and low for someone who is capable of doing a Devacut for my curly tresses. A friend recommended Kori, and after my appointment I can see why. She is absolutely amazing!!! She took time to talk to me about what I wanted short term and long term. We created a plan that also included some gorgeous highlights for the future, and I can't wait! Kori was great about explaining in detail what would happen during our appointment, going over pricing BEFORE we got started, and answering all of my questions about proper maintenance once I got home. I LOVE Studio C. I have been in the past for highlights and cuts and always had a great experience. This past time I was there was when I really knew Studio C was the place for me and my hair. I had my hair done by someone (not at Studio C) when I left I was extremely unsatisfied. My hair was orange and blonde and had lines through it. It was just bad. I had an hour before I had to be at an event. I called Studio C and they told me to come right in and they would fix it. I came in and they all had clients but they all came together to fix my hair before I had to go to my event. I have never left this salon unhappy. It's such an amazing feeling when you walk into a salon and feel like they actually care! Ladies we all have left a salon unhappy but if you want to eliminate that come to Studio C!!! went to salon c just before pandemic closed everyone down. will not go back. cute salon, friendly people. price a little higher than what i normally paid at another salon but i was looking to try something different. the sytlist gave a fair haircut. but, while blow drying my hair, she was more interested in texting back and forth on her phone. i heard the dryer going but when i looked up she was busy with phone and not attempting to dry my hair. happened several times while i was sitting in chair. felt that her phone was more important than i was as a customer. didn't bother to say she had an important text and needed to leave for a minute to reply and then come back and say sorry for the interruption. she just kept texting as if i wasn't even there. will spend my money elsewhere where i'm made to feel as if my business is important. read more

I am very disappointed at the customer service. I was there for over 7 hours while waiting for my granddaughter and not one person spoke to me, asked if I needed anything or offered a beverage. I found out after the fact that I was able to get coffee on my own. It is very disappointing that every other person there was treated with such eminence. I also believe that I was extremely overcharged for the service that was provided. I have been to many other salons due to my daughter having very curly, thick hair and have never been charged so much. My daughter has done highlights, blow dry, straightened and other treatments all in one day and still was not charged as much as this company did. I hope that with this review that the company will provide better customer service for each and every person that walks through that door regardless if they are receiving treatment or not. read more

I was new to the area and needed a waxing (lip and eyebrows) as well as a trim. I was paired up with Katie and she was amazing, all the women there are friendly and do amazing work. When going to get my hair down I felt like I was just sitting and talking with an old friend. This women know they are the best but they are not cocky about it. I do have to warn you it is a bit pricy ($50.00) with tip. But you get what you paid for. Unfortunately due to job relocation I moved out of state and am still trying to find a good place. Had a wonderful experience with Carolyn and her team today. I am in the beauty industry yet I haven't had my hair touched in almost a hr and a half after my last stylist ruined my hair. She did a perfect consultation and seemed to really pick up on exactly what I was wanting. I was absolutely exhausted when I got there so I'm not sure my communication of what I wanted was even making sense yet she was able to decipher it and even made me a few cups of coffee to help me wake. The rest of her team was very helpful and polite as well. We had great conversation and it seems they are all very passionate about the beauty industry and have a desire to keep on top of the latest and great trends. I have fibromyalgia and back issues so I really appreciated the comfort of their shampoo sinks. She balanced my highlights and gave me a beautiful cut for a very reasonable price. I even prebooked my next cut before I left. Parking is very convenient, bathrooms were clean, great quality products used, nice little details such as a snack bar. I am looking forward to getting my nails done next time well as they have a nice private backroom for that and the nail tech seems excited to continue perfecting her nail art craft. I am in total awe right now with this place. I moved from Massachusetts 2 yrs ago and honestly was losing hope with finding a hairstylist that I could trust and feel confident with. Nikki was my stylist, we sat down and did a consult on what my goals were and my hair history. She even did a test strand to make sure my hair would lift and figure out if it'd be strong enough to lift (I was near platinum, gone reddish brown and wanted to go back to blonde highlights) I went in confused and unsure of what I really wanted or how to get there...
