Unfortunately as I was pulling in the manager called the let me know my masseuse had called in sick and they could only rebook my massage to start 1.5 hours after the original time. I was disappointed, but I made the best of it and thankfully had a flexible schedule that day. I ended up ordering tea and lunch from the Tea Bar. Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I really like my facial with Ruth. She was amazing and had lovely energy. I would definitely rebook. My massage was okay, but despite a few requests for more pressure, I was told that was the max she could do. I have had a lot of massages, but have never encountered that before

However, when I met my therapist, he mentioned he would be doing a signature massage without discussing pressure preferences, even though I had noted on my intake form that I prefer firm pressure. Unfortunately, the massage itself felt neither particularly deep nor relaxing, and it did not meet my expectations. Upon arriving, I was initially confused about the entrance. I entered a building with a gift shop and "tea bar," thought I was in the wrong place, and had to ask for directions. I then learned the spa entrance was behind the wall in the gift shop, which wasn't apparent. I expected the tea bar to be a special space that you might find in a Japanese tea garden, but it was a bar with a mini fridge, something you might find at a gym, and it was in the gift shop! While the waiting area was bright and airy, the changing area--which included the infrared sauna and hot tub--felt more like a college locker room than a spa environment. The treatment floor itself also had a rather sterile, hospital-like feel that didn't create a relaxing atmosphere. It would be helpful if a pre-appointment email listed available amenities and noted that guests should bring a swimsuit to use the hot tub. I checked the website beforehand and did not see this information listed or any photographs. I would have enjoyed using the hot tub had I known, but I was told I could purchase a suit in the shop instead. Lastly, the one-size sandals provided were difficult to walk in and felt unsafe and risky on the stairs after the treatment. I also found it fairly shocking that they suggest 22% as the starting point for a gratuity. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience, ambiance, and level of service provided. I sent the manager feedback and was informed that the changing room space was going to be getting an update, but I feel additional updates are needed, including making reception a dedicated space or moving it inside the door, and moving the tea bar, and making it a unique, special space. Having the reception area and the tea bar crammed together with the gift shop does not work.

I've spent the whole day traveling and all I wanted to do was remove my makeup, wash my face, and get ready for bed. Fortunately, this Walgreens was right across the street from my hotel. I made my way to the beauty and skin-care section and found a whole bunch of full size makeup remover products... wipes and solutions. Not wanting to risk the same thing happening again, I decided to forego another bottle of solution. But I didn't want a large container of wipes, because I already have plenty of makeup remover at home. I asked the sales associate where the travel sized items were. He pointed me in the right direction, adding that he didn't think they sold travel-sized makeup remover wipes. Ha! You, sir, have never removed makeup before so you don't know what I know. And what I know is that they DEFINITELY sell makeup remover wipes in travel-size packages. Armed with all the knowledge I needed, I confidently strolled over to the aisle and *surprise!*, I found exactly what I wanted; A travel-size pouch of makeup remover wipes. No risk of spillage, and they'll all be gone by the time I head out for my return flight. Perfect. I resisted the urge to waive my purchase triumphantly at the sales associate as I strolled out of the door, satisfied.

The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

I reported to the "manager" in the store (I reported first to the cashier who told me to talk to the manager) and he couldn't care less. It was like I was bugging him. I think most people go here for meds, it doesn't appear to be stocked well. The website said they had my shampoo but they didn't. They also have half the store under glass. That's a "I won't be back" thing for me. No one likes having to wait ten minutes to get the glass opened. If people are stealing stuff then get security. I'm honestly a well built man but I hate coming here because of the riff raff surrounding the place. There are other options.

They claim it's an insurance issue, but my child's insurance hasn't changed in years. Then they lie and say they're out of stock. Which is mostly untrue. There was an incident when I requested to refill a prescription a week in advance. They sent me a text claiming it was out of stock. I had a feeling that it was bs so I drove to the pharmacy and spoke with their staff in-person. Guess what? The prescription that they claimed that was "out of stock" was in fact in stock. The tech told me that I just needed to wait 10 minutes. I had to explain to the tech the importance of my child's medication being filled on time, given that a missed dose can cause a life-threatening issue. About a month ago, I was in line inquiring on my child's prescription. There was another customer standing super close behind me while I was giving the tech very personal information. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. There is no way that pharmacy tech helping me did not notice him. HIPAA VIOLATION! Anyway, if I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would.
