My review is basically like "Edinay" Rebecka gave me an awful haircut. Rebecka was nice. I think she maybe got distracted as she was chatting with everyone in the salon, was tired or was not paying attention. I am not sure. She gave me specifically what I did not ask for. I have numerous Hair Stylists tell me not to get that cut which I specially told Rebekca I did not want. I have other people comment that it is really poor haircut as well. One person said as soon as they saw the haircut, "clearly you should not go back there." When I got into the car and saw the haircut, I almost went to a place to have my head shaved but I don't think I would look good blad. I basically have to wait for my hair to grow like Edinay did to have someone else fix Rebecka's horrible job. My guess is that will take a few cuts to fix her work most likely. Clearly I won't be back to see Rebecka. read more

My beautiful, long, red hair is finally starting to grow back since REBECKA went cray-cray Edward Scissor hands on me. First, she took a razor to my hair from the scalp. Now, I have had hair dressers thin my hair from the chin or shoulders, but NEVER FROM THE ROOT. She thinned out my hair from the scalp of my head! Next, she seemed super happy one minute and then seriously had dark circles under her eyes, and a manic mood the next. After I made it clear that I was not happy with the five-year-old-little-girl style haircut she gave me, she said, "you can't leave until you're happy." Since she would have continued to chop my hair until I was "happy," I was lucky to have gotten out of there with any hair left at all. As she chopped my hair, and took a razor to the root, thinning it out from the scalp, I had to sit there horrified, getting ever more afraid to say anything that would make her continue to cut, and cut, and cut, and cut... Now, I had a lot of hair. HAD, notice the use of the past tense. I do not HAVE a lot of hair- not anymore, not since REBECKA got a hold it. Most people know that using a razor to thin out the hair causes it to fall out. I literally hid my head under a brown paper bag when I got home and cried for hours about my hair. I had not cried over a bad haircut since I was 12 years old- I went to Fantastik Sams or some kind of commercial cheap-o place, and that was the first and last time I ever went to hair salon that was not high-end. If hiding under a paper bag (LITERALLY! My boyfriend has pics!!) was not bad enough, it actually got worse, and worse, and worse, and for quite some time my hair continued to get thin and fall out. When I told people about how I "used to have" thick hair, they looked at me like I was crazy!!! You can't imagine the horror of telling people about how your hair used to be and having them look at you like you are crazy, and then having to wonder to yourself if your hair will actually grow back... even my bangs were beyond repair... I did a comb-over for a year and a half, it was awful! Even worse when you are a teacher and have to stand up in front of a class all day- ew, to have them look at my hair all day, UGH!!! Too bad I couldn't wear my brown paper bag to work... Anyway, I actually went back in there to talk about my hair situation to a girl who has REAL HAIR and she was like, "just let it grow." She didn't want to do anymore damage. I appreciated that. Especially coming from someone who didn't have extensions. Normally, I only got my hair cut once a year. I finally went to go get my haircut elsewhere after that hair shop of horrors nightmare experience. I trembled in the re-telling of my hair story- realizing, after all, nine months later, how truly shaken up and upset I was about it. For the first time, I had hair issues. I even felt bad for the new hairdresser for needing hair therapy. When I had walked out of the hair salon with the wreck of hair from REBECKA, I estimated it would be at least two years until my hair started growing back. I am a year and a half deep and finally starting to recognize myself in the mirror again. Every time I look in the mirror and start to recognize myself and my beautiful, long, red hair growing back, I can't help but think about how Nebraska Rebeccka ruined my hair for so long. I am grateful that it IS growing back, but it's not "just hair." Lastly, never trust anyone with your hair who says: "It's just hair, it grows back!" Those people DO NOT have awesome hair. Underneath their extensions they have crappy, frail, thin, brittle hair that has never been nor ever will be like hair in Pantene Pro-V. It's best to find someone with your own type of hair. If your hair is thick, never let a person with fake thick hair do your hair. When the extensions come off they only know how to deal with their kind of hair, they will try to turn your thick hair into "manageable" THIN hair - and you will be next in line to buy a wig. And very last, THE WORST PART: I only went in there for a BANG TRIM!!! Lucky I gave 1 star. read more
