I started to lose volume at the roots and within two hours of styling my hair fell flat and lost all the volume I got from diffusing. As she washed and style my hair she explained everything that she was doing and I learned that for my hair I have to keep product away from my roots. Her personality was very welcoming and nice, I felt really comfortable in her private studio. I trusted her with a "new look" I was trying, I normally go for a full head weave installation normally with 22inches. However this time I did a quick weave bob and she exacuted it!!! It was hard to find someone back home who could properly maintain the work she did. Once I found someone to do my hair in New York, she did not advise me on how to properly care for my hair, which caused my locs to become damaged and start breaking off. I could not watch my hair break any longer, so I ended up flying back to LA just to have Rena fix it. She was honest about the damage and had to cut some of my hair to restore its health.
