My first visit was amazing, and I was extremely happy with how the gentleman did my nails. He was phenomenal he took his time, paid attention to detail, and really executed the service beautifully. That experience is actually what made me want to come back. My appointment today was at 3:35 PM. I was seated around 3:40 PM, and by 3:50 PM -- literally 10 minutes later -- my pedicure was finished. My gel polish was removed, my toenails were painted white with another gel color, and that was basically it. I understand that a gel polish change can be quicker than a full pedicure, but 10 minutes felt incredibly rushed. There was very little attention to detail she didn't file them down or shape them, and while my toenails look okay, are they perfect? Absolutely not. You can tell this was a rushed job, and my biggest concern is honestly how long the polish is going to last. The checkout experience also left me uncomfortable. After I paid my total, the woman checking me out immediately gave me her Venmo information. I had to ask her twice, "What are you saying?" before I understood that she was asking me to Venmo a tip. It felt like the tip was being assumed rather than simply presented as an option. I still left a $5 tip because, personally, even when I'm unhappy with a service, I don't believe in not tipping at all. But the interaction itself was uncomfortable. I want to be fair because I will give Bella Vista one more try. However, next time, I will specifically make sure that the gentleman who did my nails during my first visit takes care of me. He was amazing. He took his time, he was meticulous, and he executed the service beautifully. That is the level of service that made me want to return in the first place. I really hope management understands that quality and consistency matter, especially when a customer is returning because they had such a positive first experience. I'm willing to give the salon another chance, but I definitely hope my next visit feels more like my first one.

Even after I told them I did nothing to break the nail on my own (didn't hit it against anything), it just broke randomly because it was a low quality job initially. They also didn't tell me when I came in that the repair would be $10, they told me at the end after they had already fixed it. I will never come back here. Stay away!

And we are not shy about getting pedi's all over the place while vacationing in many places. Additionally, the tubs are very shallow. They are currently putting a liner over the tub and filling that with water; however, the tubs still should be sterilized as the water comes in contact when the liner is removed. If they upgraded the seating on the pedicures, I would give them five stars. I don't get manicures, so I can't rate that.

Luckily I found a gorgeous blue colored polish and stuck with that. The pedicure for the callous treatment was nice! She used a small electric foot file to help get off the callouses which I think helped a lot! I WILL say, I was sitting more towards the left side against the wall and after someone had used the restroom (I think) I could smell a sort of sewage smell (as stated from the review below me). Everything smelled so yummy and she made my toes look fantastic tho they did start to chip pretty soon after. My dazzle dry mani was where they lost some stars bc it wasn't as opaque as I would have liked it to be and after a week of hand washing at work, the color seems to have faded?? Maybe that's the quality of the polish and not the actual application by the tech, but not the happiest I've been with a mani. I do love the aesthetic of the shop though! Very pretty, modern and clean inside.
