Keep in mind, I booked this appointment a week and a half before the actual date. I filled out the new guest forms talking about what my hair is already like before my haircut. The day before my appointment, I get a text message. I am a lifeguard and had work from around 9 am to 8 pm. So I wasn't able to respond until later. The girl who is supposed to do my hair just asks me basic questions like what does your hair look like, what do you want to achieve, etc. And I went in depth with what I wanted from the services I booked. I knew what I wanted required my hair to be colored, have full highlights done, and mainly the haircut! The next morning, since again I got off work pretty late, she texted me this message: "Good morning. Unfortunately you booked in a spot that is just not long enough for the service you are needing. The color is a full color correction. I'm so sorry, but I'm happy to reschedule you in an appointment space with the correct time frame." I booked color for my hair. And in her message, she indicated that it was MY fault that I booked in a spot that is not long enough. If I booked for three services, I am expecting to receive those services and to have those hours reserved for me. To summarize everything, she then said she can't do anything because it's a three hour process. Which I thought would've been my original time slot since I booked an abundant amount of services? I then asked if I could just come in for a haircut and color. The two shorter things, without highlights, and book the highlights for another day. I assumed I could still get my hair colored and cut within my appointment time right? This is the message I received back. "I don't want to rush through your service or compromise your results just to fit into a small time frame. I tried to reach out earlier to discuss pictures and end goals but I didn't receive a message back until late last night after I was already asleep. Unfortunately I need to reschedule you." For her to keep insisting it's my fault I booked in a small time frame is insane, as if I had a choice. She also implied it's my fault because she didn't get a message back until late last night. She had almost TWO weeks to reach out to me, but she decided that the day right before my appointment was the appropriate time to talk about this. Unprofessional. I ended up not getting my hair done at all when I took the entire day off work, and I did not reschedule. If you plan on booking with Blair, be careful to not book within a small timeframe.

Unfortunately, I was given a short, round bob with no shape or style, and it looked nothing like the reference I provided. I waited several months, hoping it would improve as it grew out, but my hair is now growing in different directions and is extremely difficult to manage. I cannot properly blow-dry or flat-iron it, and I now have to pay another stylist to correct the haircut. I believe the stylist was the salon owner, Christina During my appointment, she seemed to be dealing with personal issues and had a noticeably negative attitude, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. There was very little communication throughout the service. I normally do not leave complaints, but I have given this a lot of time and patience. Unfortunately, the haircut was uneven, unflattering, and completely different from what I requested. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the condition my hair was left in.
