I told Carmen I was having shoulder surgery and couldn't deal with my hair and one handed attempts at ponytails. She told me I'd look great in short hair, and I made an appointment. In my opinion, and after all, that's what really matters - results were fabulous. I love my easy care wash and wear hair! I also love the positive upbeat vibe at The Parlor on Main and that the people there are really terrific. I'll be back! I tried this place last year - Let me re-phrase I tried to try this place last year. I was not greeted when I walked in. 10 minutes later I was asked who I was there for -- then I waited some more. After 20 minutes past my appointment they took a lady that came in after me and then asked me who I was there to see, again!? Weird. Told them, then waited another fifteen minutes. My home away from home! The ambiance and atmosphere at The Parlor is so comforting! It's like hanging out with the girls. All of the ladies here are so welcoming and friendly! I get extensions, highlights, and sometimes full color! Kayla is my go girl! I know I can trust her to change up my do or keep up what I'm already doing! Blonde is so tough and I'm really picky, but she's a color genius, and she is always such a joy to be around! I use to get get my extensions done in Sherman Oaks and another Salon in Santa Clarita, and I either paid $500+ or had to sit in the chair for 5 hours!
