My son went there and was then directed to the Plaza salon. He asked for his hair not to be cut short and err on leaving the length. He even showed the stylist a photo of exactly how he wanted it cut, Needless to say it was cut too short and he was very upset and dissatisfied. He will not be going back there again. read more

Unfortunately this time I was unhappy with my last experience. Renée was my hair dresser. She was super friendly don't get me wrong. She's a nice person BUT....I wanted bangs and I didn't get that! The cut was so quick and a bit uneven. But whats more upsetting was the price. I was charged $230 not including a tip for full highlights!!?! I previously worked with Michelle. I went to Hannah to have my hair curled for a photo shoot, and she said she would curl it really tight so it would hold up for 4 hours or so before the main event. basically after 45 minutes of her Working on my hair I looked in the mirror and realized it was a very very loose curl only at The bottoms, the top half was pretty straight and honestly looked messy with straight pieces ... I commented to Hannah and she said "your hair just won't curl"... to which I really didn't know how to respond. I expressed my dissatisfaction and she attempted to redo some of the pieces, but still it was a loose messy curl.... Definitely did not look stellar. I think the biggest disappointment was that, rather than acknowledge the fact that it didn't look very good and try to make the situation better, she basically "blamed" my hair for not curling and then charged me full price of $45 for a really sub-par job. It seemed really unprofessional to let me walk out of there with such a sloppy do... I just didn't have the energy to fight. I went home, washed and curled it myself and it looked exactly as I wanted... Just unfortunate that I was trying to alleviate Stress by having someone do that exact job and ended up having to do it myself. read more

Had my first haircut at hair city. Called in the morning and made my appointment hoping to get a haircut the same day. It being the holidays I crossed my fingers. They got me in, but she warned me she was really running late. I had done my shopping and had no problem waiting. Once my stylist Bree got to me, she apologized and gave me a very nice discount for waiting. I loved my haircut and will definitely be coming back. read more

Savannah spent 90 minutes total discussing options for a haircut style and then doing the job. She cut my hair dry and then washed and blow dried it. Her work was very professional and I was happy with how it moved and looked in the end! The cost was reasonable too. She listens and is focused on doing excellent work. read more

Staff was inattentive and rude. I had an appointment at noon for a wash and blow dry in order to look good for an afternoon appointment. I arrived early to Hair City. The person who was supposed to provide services spent 30 minutes on another customer. The two girls at the desk ignored me. When I said I had another appointment and asked one of the girls who was not busy if she could at least wash my hair, she said she had a client coming...her client came 15 minutes later. In the end, I sat there for 45 minutes, did not get service, was late to my appointment, and had dirty hair. read more

I called in the morning to get a haircut and I was a little nervous about going to someone random. They were able to get me in right away and Savannah gave me a super cute short hair cut. I was shocked after she spent all of that time washing, styling, and cutting that she only charged me $35!!! I really can't recommend her enough! read more

I just received a wash and cut. I had extremely long hair and was starting to get headaches. Not only did this get rid of my headache, but Luna Summers gave me a wonderful head massage during the wash. Price was good. Easy to get appointment. But left with a very bad cut. Very disappointed. Had to go to another salon to remedy. So quite expensive, for what should have been a simple cut. Recommend Be Cherished, so that money is not wasted. read more

A truly superior group of creative people, I accidentally was charged twice for my haircut and they were quickly and compassionately able to resolve the issue with ease! I've been here a few times over the years, usually they cut my hair pretty well. I was very satisfied with this last trip.

I wasted $160 and 6 hours to get dimensionless, fried hair and not at all what I asked for. I had Kelly and asked for my roots to be blended in with the rest of my blonde hair, but left with bleach blonde hair and huge chunky roots. I even showed pictures of what I wanted before. I went back the next day to get it "fixed" but still left very disappointed. Ended up going to Blue Giraffe to have the color fixed and the fried ends chopped off the following day. read more

I rarely get a hair cut as I have worn it long and straight all my life. It is very thick and can be difficult to work with so was tentative about anyone cutting it. I took my chances and walked into Hair City with a photo and major change in mind and Deziree was there, listened to me and cut my hair thoughtfully and carefully and I was happy with the result. Hair City is my favorite hair salon. I recommend them over anyone! I get all kinds of hair coloring done with Barbie. Ombré or standard hair coloring by her is amazing! She is great if you want any shade of red, which is by far the hardest color to do. She is not afraid to try new things, and she is the sweetest person in the entire world. She makes you feel comfortable and she listens to what you want. read more
