April Fidura is incredible. Beautiful human inside and out. I constantly find myself checking to see the beautiful hair she does because it's always unique to each individual! She has such an amazing eye for color and the right style/cut to make the color and the person just look amazing. Such a genuine talent with a fantastic personality. In regard to the person who left the one star, poorly written, and what appears to be an outright lie as a review; shame on you. Whether that was an attempt to publicly hurt and embarrass her to get a free (reimbursed) service or impact her business negatively, there is no excuse for that. Watch as those that know her and her work rally behind and continue to support and recommend her. I personally don't know anyone that would repeatedly spend hundreds of dollars with the same stylist if they were not in love with the results. Knowing the type of person April is, I can't imagine her treating anyone the way you described or letting anyone leave so dissatisfied with their hair. Well after reading a certain review.. I will definetly disagree with some statements made. I have had April Fidura cut and color my hair for many years now. She is professional and has a heart of gold!! You see, I am also a stylist. Anyone knows that cutting and coloring another stylists hair can be very difficult. I have been a stylist for 23 years and a previous technical trainer. I can count on one hand who I trust with my hair and April being my #1. As I have experience in this business, I have encountered many individuals who have become great friends and become my family. I have also met others that were pleasant but our personalities just didn't click. THAT happens. It happens all the time in this business and that's ok. What isn't ok, is bashing someone on a Yelp review instead of handling the situation in person and resolve the miscommunication. April has the biggest heart I know. April Fidura is a freaking hair goddess rockstar! I used to work out of The Nest Salon and just read the terrible review that left one star. First of all, one star?!? Really? Not cool. April is an accomplished craft haír stylist, colorist and hair extension specialist. She knows so much of different brands of hair color etc. I have had my hair done so many times by April Fidura. I have also seen COUNTLESS people from all shapes, sizes, and styles walk out happy!with their hair, elated even, on freaking cloud nine- hairgasm territory. I have gone to her telling her what I wanted in both color and cut as well as just sat in her chair and said do whatever you're feeling, and you know what?! SHE NAILED IT ON THE NOSE EVERY TIME. I have seen the dreaded "box color do it yourself" hair catastrophe walk in and she fixes them. I have seen lifeless dulldrum hair be transformed by a simple slamming cut that brings out all the movement and quality of the hair, so much so that it looks like they got color too, but didn't! The Nest is the kind of salon I have always wanted to end up at it because of its passion for all things eco-conscious and just a more mindful approach to beauty in general. I followed Tiana from Aveda to her next salon and now The Nest. The salon has a great energy and I can tell she's going to be free to be her true creative and talented self-more than ever before. I've never been afraid to change my hair and so Tiana and I have played with my hair and color (blondes to browns to reds and now pinks) quite a bit and I am really amazed that she NAILS it every single time. I love that she's always trying to protect the integrity and health of my hair first and I feel that she's very clear at communicating what the best process is to do that while still ending up at the color that I want. I have never been to nest salon. However april is one of the stylists there. She is by far the most amazing hair artist I have ever had the pleasure of having do my hair. She is patient and is good at getting a deep understanding of what I want and doesn't mind taking the time to look at pictures that I've brought along for inspiration. What I appreciate about her most is she is honest she will tell you what she thinks your hair is able to do considering the damage or health of the hair. She was my stylist for 6 whole years. And if I had the money she would still be doing my hair. Aside from all of that she is a great person and is fun to talk to. I know she takes lots of courses out of town and from her own pocket so that she can do the most up to date looks. Anyone that sees her wont be disappointed. :) thank you april read more

Tiana Boruff, or Beauty by Tiana has been doing my hair for years. She takes such AMAZING care of it and always has my "hair heath" interests at heart. I always leave happy and in such good spirits because she is so easy to talk to. I have followed her a few times over the years and every time it is to a better Salon. She has finally found her fit though and I can see it shine through her. This place is gorgeous and calming and very professional. As Covid was my first time being there (once phase 2 of course), I was so impressed to see there cleanliness and wonderful sanitation measures. Vanessa (the owner) is amazing and wants nothing more than for everyone who walks through her doors to feel welcome, loved, and listened to. I've been a client of Miranda's for several years, having followed her to The Nest from her previous spot. She gives great cuts but what what really wows me is her coloring talent. She listens and asks questions and does a fantastic job. She always offers to do any retouches if needed and I hope she's there for a long time! The salon itself is wonderful. It's welcoming, light and filled with gorgeous plants. It's been reconfigured for COVID and I observed the stylists cleaning thoroughly before and after clients, both at their stations and the wash station. I love this salon! read more

It is crazy to me that people can just get on here and say whatever they want about a person. I just read the one star review on April F. And let me tell you that is so far from the truth. The only truth in that review is that the salon is amazing and the owner is wonderful. April is an amazing stylist and passionate about what she does. I have personally had my hair cut and styled by April and I know many others that have as well. She is great at what she does as well as engaging in conversation.
