I have not been to this salon in years since it changed hands a few years ago, but I will definitely be back! I thought the owners were very kind and accommodating. I walked in without an appointment, they found an opening for me within an hour, and I received a delightful classic mani/pedi spa service for a very reasonable price. Atmosphere was peaceful, salon was clean, and the gentleman - I think his name was Lee? - gives AMAZING foot massages. Great value, excellent customer service. Highly recommend! read more

You don't wanna looked busted walking around the mean streets of Ashy, so you look for an affordable local nail salon. Ashland Nails Spa is your place! I had my gel manicure removed and replaced with a regular manicure. The nail tech was efficient in removing the gel, and also gentle. The mini hand massage was also 10/10. I especially appreciated their patience because when I was drying my nails, I accidentally bumped my nail into another one, and they fixed it for me, no problem. It's not the fanciest nail spot, but it's great for what you pay. Plus, you can take the money you save and spend it on overpriced kombucha at Market of Choice, down the street. read more

Absolutely the worst gel manicure ever. The nail technician (who is also the manager) cut my cuticles three times. Instead of apologizing, she complains that my hands were too dry (they're not) and that it's been too long since I've had a manicure (6 weeks), while mopping up blood. Nail shape: awful. Polish application: awful, uneven. I will echo another reviewer's complaint: it looks like the work of a highly intoxicated amateur. Save yourself the 40 bucks. Infuriating. read more

Very unhappy. I had great experience other times I had came in, but this time was a nightmare. A very nice, but obviously uncertified nail technician did my manicure and removed my prior gel. She kept burning me, and then giggling like it was no big deal and kept going. My nails were uneven and the polish looked like I had done it at home after a few drinks. I had cotton pieces stuck to the polish and polish on the sides. 1.5 hours for the worst pedicure of my life. So unhappy that I canceled my manicure and was obviously upset. They charged me for my horrible pedicure along with the gel remover that was still on my nails. Be careful. Call I was told after going here for two years that I could no longer return because I took too long to pick out a nail color. I have never gotten any designs or anything like that on my nails, I just do one single color so that it looks natural. Anyway I took around five or so minutes to pick out a color because the color on the bottle never matches the color in the bottle and I was told after my appointment that day by the guy at the front desk that I could no longer a return because I kept someone waiting for 30 minutes. Oh I thought it was very unfair and Sheri, the owner and woman who did my nails should not have overbooked herself so that her other clients were waiting for my appointment. She should've given herself enough time to complete my nails without being disrespectful. After all I have been a loyal client to her for two years. read more

Not too pleased with the latest ownership. First off they are really not taking walk ins anymore. I made an appt and then 15 mins before my appt they called to ask me to come an hour later which doesn't work. The next week I came back and was informed they would not allow us to reuse our files etc and they would give us a new pack that gets thrown away each time we get our nails done! This is SO much trash. I just cannot believe a community like Ashland will support this. Also my standard 30 min pedicure took over an hour with a clearly slow, inexperienced technician. Everyone was very nice otherwise it would be one star. Bummed! Time to find a new nail salon. read more

I received great service here. I was in town for just one night, and after a few days of camping, my nails were in need of some major TLC. Corrie did my pedi and Johnnie did my mani. They took their time, we had fun conversation, and I appreciated the extra care and attention. So sad - this nail salon used to be my regular nail place, but now there is a new owner. The owner does not show up at the salon... they have a very strange guy managing the place and he is like a rule keeper at the front. No walk ins, no bringing in your own nail kit. NOT friendly or welcoming at all. Workers are all new and inexperienced. I actually felt bad for the nail technicians. I was told that it's "state law" to use their disposable and wasteful nail kits that they throw away after every treatment - this is not true. They are just being wasteful and using it as an excuse to charge you $3 more than the last owners. I am sure that this extra income is not passed down to the workers. I am sure this place won't last long. Time to go somewhere else. I won't go back here again. read more

While I don't have the patience for the beautiful work she does, her clients seem very happy. Most take photos and walk out smiling. Staff is very friendly. I had a pedicure with Tina at Ashland Nails Spa. I will not go back there. It was very disappointing. First they did not have the color polish I wanted, that I've always found at other Nail Salons. While waiting for my appointment, I used a very dirty bathroom. The pedicurist did not test the soaking water and it was scalding hot, then she made it too cold and finally got it adjusted properly. The chair was uncomfortable, did not lean back as it should and the massage features were stop and go and did not respond to the controls. Tina gave the worst foot massage ever, just wiping oil and salt on my shins, mainly. She cut one of my toenails too short. It still hurts 24 hours later. I am a massage therapist and have worked in spas in the past, so I know what good service looks like. read more

Having had manicures and pedicures around Ashland and Medford, this is where I have found a "goto" place. Their attention to detail was exceptional. I've been fighting an ingrown big toe for months, and my technician was able to solve it.... don't know how, but after 10 days.... no sign of a return! My gel pedi is still looking great! Horrible Johnny and korrin are not even certified nail technician or have had any previous training. They are ALL super slow and the basic 30 minute pedi is more like an hour and a half long. Not because they're some really thorough pedicure but because they have trouble with every step of it. This place should be reported and shut down. read more

I had to cancel an appointment because I had been exposed to Covid. When I tried to reschedule I was told they wouldn't reschedule me because I canceled at the last minute. Mind you, I called the night before and left a voice mail. I tip well (at least 25%) and I do not understand why they did this considering the times.
