If you have dark hair and want to get blonde highlights, I would not recommend getting it done with Kaylee. I showed how light I wanted to be and she didn't get me what I wanted. She said it'll get lighter with wash. I thought at least the hair is not ugly, but when I got home I started seeing the imperfection especially after washing my hair. Cut is uneven and one side of my head is orange. She said she will highlight my roots too and do a shadow root, instead it didn't seem like she did anything for my grown out toes. Would only give one star if it's not for the owner who offered to get my hair redone and recommended me to get it done with Victoria. I really appreciate that but Victoria is only available during a work day and I have a wedding to attend soon. The color was good, absolutely the worst haircut I've had in a long time. It looked okay there but once I got home I could see how uneven it was. Victoria did an awesome job of giving me dark brown hair with periwinkle color highlights and a haircut that tackled the problem of very thinning hair. Rhonda is incredible- there's no better way to describe her. She did a corrective color on me. The top two f my head was warm and the midshaft to ends were green. I had some "bleeds" that she made disappear. Not only do I love the corrective color, but I love it so much we have saved the color formula so I can continue to look this fabulous. Rhonda is always ready when I arrive; I've never had to wait or had another customer worker in during my appointment. I only got a wash and blow dry but I received excellent service! The owner is so friendly.

They RUINED my hair. I would give them less stars if I could. About a month and a half ago I put red box dye on my blonde hair. I called them to see if they could help me get the red out and help me go back to blonde. When I called the woman I spoke to told me that they could do that for me and that it would take several sessions to go back to blonde which I understood and agreed to. I made sure to ask that I would leave the first appointment with presentable hair, I told them that I am working and I need my hair to be presettable and I was told they "wouldn't let me leave with bad hair" and that for the first session I should expect to leave with caramel blonde hair. I went to to get my hair done and my first clue that they were terrible should have been that there was no mirror that I could see myself in as she was doing my hair, major red flag looking back. As she washed my hair I asked her about the price I was quoted, $300 starting, and that caramel blonde was still the goal. I had shown her a photo of my end goal, which is bright blonde, and I told her that I didn't expect that this first time that I was totally fine leaving caramel blonde this time. She did say that she didn't think we would hit $300, she expected it to be between $200-$300. She used clarifying shampoo a few times and "aggressively" washed my hair to "try and get some of the color out", this just left my hair feeling terrible and did not get the color out. She next bleached my hair and there was still some red in my hair after this, I figured she would bleach it again and do my roots as they did not put any bleach on my roots. She asked me as she was bleaching it if I was okay leaving with pink hair as the red may lift pink, and I told her no, that my job would not allow me to have pink hair and she assured me that she could cover it up and I wouldn't have pink hair. I thought she would do a second round of bleach after washing it out, but instead she put a toner on it. As she was washing my hair she told me that she wouldn't be able to style my hair as she ran out of time. I thought that was odd considering I was told I would be paying $200-$300 styling should be included, but I told her that was fine as long as she could blow dry it. I still assumed there would be more done to my hair, or that the toner they used would help it be the caramel blonde I was told about. She took me to the chair and said that "a lot of the red came out" which seemed weird to me as I came to get all of the red out of my hair. I asked her if that meant there was still red in my hair and she said there was some. I still could not see my hair as there was no mirror near me, so I asked her what color my hair was and she told me I was strawberry blonde, which I already was upset at as I was told caramel blonde and strawberry blonde is pretty different from that. After partially blow drying my hair she showed me to the one mirror (that you would have to be insanely tall to see yourself in while seated or be standing in front of to see yourself in it). My hair was 4 different colors, there was pink, red, brown, and yellow in my hair. I pointed this out and said I was unhappy with this and was told this was normal for a color correction, which I was never told at any point. After telling her that I was unhappy with my hair Brooke told me "sorry you don't like it" as she checked me out. I ended up paying $250 for hair that is 4 colors! I was so upset I cried on the way home and decided to call them and talk to them, who ever answered the phone refunded me for that and scheduled me to come in to get it "fixed" the next day. Their suggestion for "fixing" it was to dye it brown or red. I went there to get the red taken out and I told them that was not an option. I called that night and asked to speak to the owner. The next day the manager called me and said that the owner was traveling but she could help me out, I told her my situation and asked what the plan was to fix it. She told me that having different colors in my hair is normal for a color correction, which I told her if I was told that I would not have gone to them, or would have scheduled it for a time that I was off work. She continued to tell me that was expected which I was never told at all. She told me that she would be at the salon when I came in and would look at my hair and help cover it all up by using the darkest color that was in my hair to cover all the other colors. I got there to "fix" it and she "color matched my hair" and showed me two colors that I could choose from one was a mocha color and the other was a darker warm brown. I didn't like either one but chose the mocha color as it was lighter. She put that all over my head and it did cover the other colors but I went to them to go blonde and now I have the darkest hair I've ever had and will go to a different salon to get my hair fixed for real. Was hoping to continue to go there but after this experience would never go back or recommend. read more

I'm going to be as upfront as possible. So the place is nice but I don't really like that there isn't a mirror to see the process. Due to the lack of mirrors I was not able to correct the stylist as she was doing my hair. I have been to many luxurious salons but due to the great reviews, I decided to give this place a chance. Honestly, it was a huge mistake and RIP to my horrendous bleached hair. They use the same techniques and strategies catered to blonde hair on dark-colored hair which leads to blotchy brassy hair. I won't call anyone one out specifically but let's just say if you want anything other than blonde highlights this is not the place. The pictures posted are misleading and I was extremely disappointed. They advertise and market themselves as "affordable" but this place has lacked quality work and prices are the same as anyone else, to be honest. I've been 3x and she keeps records of your previous color mixture, but also discusses color options as well. She spends time with you discussing haircut style and most importantly, HAS NOT booked overlapping clients leaving me to process for too long thus damaging my hair and giving the brassy undertones! I made an appointment for a cut and color, specifically to cover some graying at my temples. I was there for four hours- FOUR!- and still left with the gray uncovered. In the salon's defense, they did offer to redo the color, but expected it would take at least another half hour. I can't imagine how a half hour would do it, given I'd already been there for four. I declined because I was out of time. Parts of it are ok, and parts look brassy, but I am terribly disappointed over not covering the gray. Kind of a waste of both time and money. Cut was really not that much, and as I was never in front of a mirror, I had no idea if it was what I was looking for until it was already blown dry. If I could've seen it, I could've said to take more length off, but it was too late to go back. I spent $100 and now I feel like I need to let someone else fix the color and take more length off. Very disappointed. I did not have the owner as my stylist. The salon itself was clean and nice. I did leave a tip only because I was there for so long. read more
