I stumbled upon this little gem of an establishment, this past year. It is a very cute little…read moresalon. It's always clean. I've been a client of Stephanie Yearkey-Manus since summer 2011. I LOVE her! I can't speak of the other stylists as I'm not their client, but Stephanie is as good as they get. She is very much a professional and takes great pride in providing top quality service. She knows her stuff. She has great attention to detail, is consistent, and truly listens to the client. She will openly share her professional opinion if she doesn't think something will look right on you (color, cut...). Do not make the mistake in thinking that Stephanie is a BORICS stylist. Do not think that think that she only does grandma styles...I think Stephanie stays in-tune to what's going on with hair. Stephanie is very down to earth, but not too casual that you don't respect her for the professional that she is. I love the organic products that she uses. Draw back to the salon, they don't have a typical products shelf. Rosanne (the owner) will get you products if you request them, but she only goes to her supplier once a month. I know that she also promotes 50% off of supplies, but I have found her prices to be comprable to other salons. She had a bottle of It's a 10 on her shelf and it was the same price as what I found it at Macy's and online. So I'm not sure how the 50% thing works. I'm also not sure how pricing works. I know that each stylist seems to have their own set prices for their services. Stephanie is very fair in what she charges. A cut only (wash, cut, dry, style) $30 (sometimes she's charges me $35) A cut with one step color $75 (organic costs more). So ask about price before going in. My husband and son are also Stephanie's clients. My son is 13 years old and you know how important hair is to a teenager...He feels she's the best stylist he's had yet. Unfortunately since I wrote this review, Stephanie has left this Salon. She is currently looking for a new location. Once I have her new location, I will post a new review. I'm not really promoting this salon, I'm promoting Stephanie! LOL

I was Shannon's client for the last five years. She was usually polite to me. My simple haircuts…read morewere good and usually she's happy and professional. I'd like to schedule my appointments early and there never seemed to be a problem when we were scheduling my next appointment as I was leaving after my haircut. It seemed that often she scheduled me as her first appointment of the morning. I understand some people may not be "morning" people but sometimes she made me feel as if she were doing me a big big favor for scheduling an appointment for me at such an early time as 9am. I am elderly and disabled but always friendly and polite. I have never been late or missed an appointment in the last five years until just recently. Last month I mistakenly thought my appointment last was at 9:30am when actually it was at 9am . I understand that I may have inconvenienced her, but she texted me at 9:10 telling me I was late and she found that unusual for me. I apologized and told her I'd be right there. She texted back, "no worries". I was there in 15 minutes. Now this month, yesterday, I showed up for my appointment on time only to find that Shannon wasn't there. She texted me about an hour later saying that because I couldn't remember which day or time that I was supposed to be there that it would be best for both her and I that I find a new stylist. Remember I hadn't been late or missed an appointment with her in the last five years. I am very hurt and scared. Maybe dementia. Maybe I'm not as cognitive as I was when I was younger. Maybe this is what it feels like growing old. I don't know about losing mental acuity but I do know what it feels like to be treated so cruelly. Shannon, I'm sorry I came in a day early for my appointment.

She didn't have her phone going, and she wasn't chatting with people. She gave me 100% of her attention. I felt so great when I walked out. The salon is busy. There's a lot going on but if the stylists all have that same laser focus on their customers this is an excellent quality.

I've had this procedure many times before ..I know it can be done on my hair and it takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Evidently they don't need the business that badly very poor customer service.
