I've been going to the salon for several months now. It is very clean. It's easy to check in. The stylists are all wonderful and listen to what the clients have to say. Everyone seems to get along. would give 0 stars if I could. Google says the salon is lgbtq friendly, they are not. I asked for a trim, im a trans woman, I asked for a quarter inch off my hair. the stylist, elaine holt, proceeded to tell me about how I needed to find Jesus as she proceeds to buzz a patch in to the back of my head. she should have never even picked up clippers, I didn't ask for a clipper cut. but she insisted she knew what she was doing and ran it along my scalp utting a hole in my hair, as she told me this. and then with the most shit eating grin I've ever seen, told me she could give me a men's cut if I wanted. I was clearly upset, and her response to me asking for her manager, was to tell me about how she's in the hills angels and how one phone call can make me disappear. got in touch with the district manager who told me they had no proof because they have no cameras and that she "probably didnt mean it that way" never, ever come here if you are trans or non binary. they a protecting a bigot who literally threatened my life because i wouldnt let her forcibly de transition me once i sat in her chair. ​ read more

I often visit this shop after I make my rounds at the nearby Publix. All of the staff is warm and welcoming upon arrival and throughout my visits. I am not the typical customer in need of a haircut. I come here for the selection of hair products that they sell. This is the closest store to me that sells the whole lot of Paul Mitchell products. I don't know what products you may be a fan of, but they probably have them. There is often good deals on the products too! Sometimes the items I buy have 20-30% or $10 off, which is always a plus. Before Christmas they were selling Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner and hair gel sets for $13.99. Which is the price of the shampoo alone! WOW! read more

Our vacation condo in New Smyrna Beach has now become our winter home for 3 months of the year. This winter I had to find a local hair dresser and not knowing anyone to ask for a recommended I turned to YELP . Based on the reviews I read I made an appointments with Amy for a haircut/ blow dry. I got a great haircut and good advice on how to manage my thin, fine hair, all at a reasonable price. I took my client to get her hair done today, colored and cut. I dropped her off and spoke to one of the lady's at the front desk. I asked to have my clients hair done a bit lighter as they did it a month ago a dark red. (She has a lot of grey coming in). Mind you my client is mentally challenged and is legally blind. When I picked her up she had the dark coloring behind both of her ears, hair still on one of her ears, and they just cut her hairs off her eyebrows instead of coloring them. Then my client told me what she tipped the man, ($22.00). I have been taking her here for some time now as it is across the street from where we live. She has to have wax treatments every 2 weeks. I feel you totally took advantage of this women. We will never go back to this place ever again. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Amanda was great. She helped me select a color, Gave me a cut I was happy with, and even sealed my hair after rinsing color with something to help seal it in. The only complaint I had is that they don't let you out while your color is cooking (even tho I offered to pay first). Needed some essentials at the grocery store next door, and I don't mind looking like a fool w a color cap and cape, but I was forbidden. No biggie. I would use this place again. read more

I LOVE Abbey. She knows what she is doing and can cut both my mother's hair and mine flawlessly. I like a newer long layers style and my mom prefers a classic short style. Absolutely unacceptable! Worst hair cuts we have had in a long time. Trying to do the entire head with the trimmers trying to make it easy for themselves. Butchered my 14 year old sons hair today, hes completely upset about it. Will not return here and I do not recommend going here if you care about your hair! read more
