I put one star because I can't choose less than one. My son needs hair cut. We came and they asked us to come back in 15 minutes. We returned in 12 minutes. They sat already other man instead of my son and asked to wait other 15 minutes. 30 minutes later other woman came in and immediately was sitted. We are going to this salon many times before and always they called when my turn to be up. Before they register name with phone and was very pleasant to deal with. This time was very rude, sarcastic. We just sat over there for more than an hour and we were ignored and they are giggling between each other and looks like they never going to cut my sons hair. I tried twice to get my hair cut in one week. Both times I showed up 30 minutes before they "closed." I only needed a simple men's haircut. It probably takes 15 minutes tops. The 1st time the door was locked and the person inside refused to even talk to me. The 2nd time they said no more available appointments left. There was only one person in a chair. Yolonda has always done a fantastic job getting the color just right on my highlights blended with my salt/pepper gray. Last week I brought in my granddaughter to color correct faded hand-dyed bleached pink hair, turning it into a two-tone blue/black that was soft and gorgeous. She is beyond thrilled with it. Worst experienc. Rude hair dressers . Awful customer service accusing me of high my sons jar. Which is tot not true. Wrong hours listed. Got my daughters hair cut it had a knot hair dresser wanted to cut it out. Wouldn't work on it. I got it out no problem at home. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I would not even give this place a one but because it is a zero. I have been going there for 3 years and many times have had to wait a long time for my haircut. I have even been asked to come back and I have done that. Today was the last straw. I had an 11:20 appt. At noon I asked Jackie if I was next. She looked at the schedule and said i was not on the schedule. I told her I booked an 11:20 appt. She said it was yesterday, I said it couldnt have been yesterday because I called in the afternoon. She confirmed that it was scheduled in the afternoon. So it was booked wrong AGAIN. Then a man came in and she took him because he had 12 noon appt. She would not even look me in the eye. I said she should have taken me but the unpleasant man said he had a noon appt..I said I had an 11:20 appt. He then said it wasn't in the computer!!!! WOW and Jackie said nothing.!! So sad that she could not do the right thing. Also they keep raising their prices. Terrible salon. read more

Kristen did an excellent job. I had a deep conditioner, a special smoothing service, and a blow out. Very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, Kristen smelled like cigarettes. The product shelves were dirty and huge dust balls were present in the top of the display cabinet. The stations were dirty and dusty. Some of the stylists's brushes were filled with old hair, the disinfectant jars for the combs were half full of old liquid. It's apparent that it's a high volume salon but lack of attention to cleanliness will prevent me from future visits. read more

Simone always does a great job. I have never had a bad experience and I have used several different stylists.

So while I can't speak to anyone but Michelle, she is awesome. She's been doing my hair for the past 2 years and she does great! She pays attention and makes sure her clients are happy! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her!! read more

My 23 month old son just got one of his best haircuts there from Daphne. She is new so currently she charges $13 plus tip. I used to take him to sports clips and they were ok and $17 plus tip. Important to mention that my son is pretty easy going and rarely fussy. read more

I have been visiting hair cuttery in Estero - Cocunut point mall for the last 2 years. Michelle in an amazing hair stylist. She has always worked on my hair with perfection - be it coloring, hair cut or keratin. The other hair stylist here are equally good. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I've been going here for a few months now to get my eyebrows done. It can really be hit or miss depending on who waxes them (I've left crying sometimes, burnt another time, in pain from sitting in the chair while someone takes 25 minutes to finish my wax a different time) but finally found Farrah and she is AHHMAZING! She's so sweet, always remembers me and does a bang-up job making my eyebrows look cleaned up and perfect, every time. Highly recommend her if you're looking for an eyebrow wax! PS-wish they didn't raise the price from $10 to $12 for it, though! read more

Two and a half stars? I'm really torn. I do have my hair done here because it is convenient and I've had pretty good experiences. I get my hair colored once a month but cut only every other. Having longer hair, there's not much they can do to mess it up, but they do charge me extra for it. The color has come out too dark on occasion, but again, I'm not super picky. If you are, you may not be happy here. You pay more according to the experience of your stylist, and if you make an appointment with said stylist or just take your chances and walk in. I'm not overly impressed with anyone although I did like the cut Jackie gave me and I saw her do a great short cut on an older woman before me. The real downside to Hair Cuttery is that it is DIRTY! From the floors to the bathroom to the disgusting, filthy dirty vents you have to stare at when you get your hair washed. It's just so gross. I've commented and on my last visit heard another customer comment to her stylist on the lack of cleanliness. read more
